Chapter 38

"A strange number sent her a picture of an unconscious Kylie few minutes ago and told her to come alone if she…if she loves Kylie," Rose said without looking anyone in the eyes. "I warned her. I told her not to go…but she was worried about Kylie's wellbeing."

Bianca brought out her phone and dialed her number instantly, but Olivia's phone just rang.

"What is it?" Seth’s wife asked when she saw how sad Bianca became.

"Her phone number is unreachable" Bianca replied before giving her mother a hateful look "You should have found a way to tell me. I won't forgive you if anything happens to my little sis"

"We will find a solution to what is happening" Seth said in order to distract Bianca.

Bianca sighed heavily while Jaime swore. No one had no idea what to do until one of the bodyguards stepped forward and talked.

"Did she go with her phone?" He asked Rose.

"Yeah" Rose answered "She did."

"Let's see if we can track her down with the phone."

"Okay," Bianca said while thinking, "Why would you do this to me Olivia? I won't forgive myself if something happens to you."

The bodyguard moved away from them, brought out his phone and dialed someone's number. He told the person what the problem was, and the person told him that he would get back to him "What is going on now?" Jaime who had joined him asked "He will get back to me in minutes" the bodyguard said "Okay"

Few minutes later, the person sent the bodyguard a link "She is very close" the bodyguard said when he opened the link "Let's go"

The bodyguards led the group with their Pistols in their hands and they all carefully walked out of the burial ground ***

"Here" one of the bodyguards said when he saw Olivia's phone on the side of the road Jaime hurriedly walked to where the bodyguard with the phone was and took the phone off his hand. He wanted to be sure that it was Olivia's. Its screen was broken "It's hers, isn't it?" The bodyguard asked Jaime nodded and tried not to let the tears rolled down from his eyes, but he couldn't hold it in. His fiancée and daughter were kidnapped in his presence.

"I'm a useless fiancé and father. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you guys" he thought as more tears rolled down from his eyes He felt someone's hand on his shoulder, and he quickly turned to look at who it was. It was his father "Don't cry" Seth reassured "I promise you that they are going to be okay"

"I'm useless, aren't I" Jaime whimpered "I might not see them again"

"You will" Seth reassured and brought out his handkerchief. He wiped away Jaime's tears and said "You won't find them by crying. You're a man. You have to think. You need to start thinking about who might have done this."

"I don't have any enemies," Jaime said.

"What about Olivia?"

"She isn't a troublemaker" Jaime said.

"There is something you're missing. Start thinking" Seth said and walked away from him Jaime started thinking but still couldn't find out who might have kidnapped them. He looked at Bianca whose face had lost it colors and wondered if she might have anyone in mind He slowly walked toward her and said, "Do you have anybody in mind?"

"No…but…" She trailed off because Jaime's phone rang.

Jaime brought out his phone horridly with the thought that it was Olivia or Kylie but when he saw who it was, he swore. It was Lucian He picked up his phone "Sir" Lucian said "I think we have a problem with…"

When Jaime realized that Lucian's call was useless, he hung up the phone and was about to put his phone back inside his pocket when one of the bodyguards stopped him and took the phone from his hand.

The bodyguard scrutinized the sticker on the phone before calling the other bodyguards. They all looked at the small device that was inside the sticker and looked at Jaime at the same time.

"What is…" Jaime was saying but one of them signaled to him to keep quiet.

Without saying anything, everybody surrounded the bodyguards and started looking at the sticker.

The bodyguard in control motioned to another to go far away with Jaime's phone and talked when he was sure that it was safe to do so.

"Mr. Jaime, who gave that sticker to you?" he asked.

"Laura" Jaime replied.

"Since when?" the bodyguard pressed.

"Weeks ago," Jaime replied and instantly calculated everything. How he had met her on the road on that day. How his private dinner with Olivia had turned into a full show. How she had known about his accident. Laura was the kidnapper.

He looked at his father when everything came rushing to him.

"Laura is behind everything," he said.

"She bugged your phone," the bodyguard said.

"And my car," Jaime added.

"What are we going to do now?" Bianca asked.

"We will track her down through her phone," the bodyguard replied, "But for the time being, we will continue talking into the bug. Be natural. Don't let her suspect anything."

The bodyguard with the phone joined them and they continued their conversation as if they weren't aware of the bug.

A few minutes later, the bodyguard showed everyone a message on his phone screen.

"She's been located. Mrs. Grimes and Mrs. Scott will have to stay behind with Jaime's phone in their hands since we don't know how many bugs are on it. You will act as if Jaime forgot it."

Everybody nodded while Jaime handed Rose his phone. "Can you hold this really quick?" he said as he handed it to her.

"Let's keep looking for them. Let's split up again!" the bodyguard said. "Bianca go this way, Mr. Jaime this way, Rose this way, Mrs. Scott this way, Mr.…"

The bodyguard acted as if he was splitting them up.

Instantly, Rose and Mrs. Scott started heading towards Bianca's house while calling Kylie's name.

"Oh," Rose said as if she just remembered something when they were far away from others "What is it?" Mrs. Scott asked.

"I have Jaime’s phone still." She sighed heavily.
