I can't understand how the witches did it. How they killed him with just a ward. The spell should have kept him alive long enough to get to Draven and his bitch of a wife. They had everything that I should have, but no I was tossed aside. I watched as Juilian stepped into the moonlight. He was my masterpiece, but he had been able to break my hold on his mind. In the time I had been doing the spells, I had never lost one. They all stayed under my control. Anger hot and bright slammed into me as I watched that vampire hug my creation. See how love showed in both of their eyes. It shouldn't be possible, the spell wiped out the memories. Sucked away all the feelings but anger that helped them fight. Something had gone wrong with Juilian.

I watched as werewolves came in to take the body away. That human woman was wise to keep it in a locked room. Some of them would come back to life. This one however was weak to start with. So he wouldn't be coming back to life. With a huff I spun, leaving the area, I didn't need them finding me here. I had come to see how it went, but I got here in time to see him die. This coven of mixed beings was much stronger than I expected. I wondered if the Queen and King minded? I would guess not, seeing as it was their son's coven. Maybe if they had such a thing when I was younger, I wouldn't have ended up where I am now.

As I left the area, I found a hotel to get a room for the night. I didn't want to stay around here for long. The witches would be able to feel my power if I stuck around for a long period of time. Once in the room, I took off my robe to look in the mirror. My twisted body was so thin, just brown skin over bones with tattoo's on the skin. My feet looked like goat's feet going into human type legs. The moment my eyes connected to reflection, I wanted to cry. Yes, even bad guys have bad days. The curse that had been placed on me had twisted my body and drained almost all the power within it. They had twisted my face to look like a goat that had been beaten. My jaws didn't line up correctly, but my eyes stayed the same. I had human eyes in that twisted face. A few missteps and you ended up being cursed by the witches that were supposed to help you.

I wanted to smash the mirror to get rid of the image I was seeing. I couldn't however because I would have to pay more. Not something I wanted to deal with at this point. I was rather sure the witches and werewolves would find me. No magic right now, I had to only use it to mask myself. So I would look like a human, not a mess that I was. I had been on the hunt for the witch that cursed me for a long time, so far she had hidden from me. Her coven had been masked from me right after. Nothing had been the same since then. My family had kicked me out because they didn't want the devil to live with them. In so many ways, I understood, but they didn't have to hide from me. I would never harm them.

Sitting on the bed, I looked out the window, wondering what I should do. Not sure that I could send another creature to get Draven. They were warded while they stayed in the coven grounds. Thoughts swam through my mind about how I could get into the grounds. Maybe instead of getting them on the grounds, I should get them while they were out. Trouble was, I had to know when and where. That would mean another creature or maybe a werewolf under my sway. It would take time for me to figure this out.

As the sun started to come up, I closed the curtains to get some sleep. A ward was set around my room to make sure I knew if someone was coming close.

Draven

I wasn't sure what I was feeling as they took the body away. It was something that wasn't right, the magic I felt was old and I knew this magic. From my past maybe, but I wasn't sure. When the body was gone, I looked around the edge of the forest. Nothing seemed to out of place, but I could feel the magic. It was on the tip of my tongue, but I wasn't sure what I was missing. Putting the thought out of my head, I grabbed Nat's hand. Everyone went into the house to see if we could figure something out. We needed Juilian to remember something of his past.

"We need to know what the hell is going on." Nat told me with a frown on her face.

"I agree, something about this is needling at mind. Something from when I was a child. I will call mom tomorrow and see if she might recall something." I sighed as we all found seats in the living room.

"Well, I am of not use on this one." Lucien gave a half smile as he walked up to his room.

"Is something wrong with Lucien?" Raven asked as she watched her brother leave the room.

"You would have to speak to him. He isn't being open about anything. Other than being worried about you." I told her with a nod toward the stairs.

"Alright so Juilian is there anything you can recall?" Nat asked, wanting to figure out what was going on here.

"My memory is soup." Juilian told use as he scratched at his head.

I couldn't help but laugh. Everyone else laughed as well. Which lightened the mood in the room. I was glad we could still smile about something during this time. Elysium will get back to us soon, I was sure. I didn't think we would get many answers, however. Magic was involved, and we needed to find out who had this type of power. As I wondered about what was going on, I thought of something. The person who had done this had used a curse, not a spell. Which meant they might not have the power for a spell to do this type of transformation. I could recall a coven of witches that had vanished when I was younger. I still couldn't for the life of me recall more than that.

"Maybe we could ask Sadie about a spell that might help with that." Raven suggested when we all stopped laughing.

"I don't trust witches with magic. Besides, it was magic that caused this." Juilian didn't want to get close to the witches.

"That is true Juilian, but magic can also get you out of it. The witches in the coven would never harm you." Raven smiled brightly up at him.
