The Guy in question

The Guy in question
Natalia

Lucien had called and let me know that Raven was doing alright and he hoped that I wouldn't turn off her phone. He would need to call her to keep up with her. I never dreamed of cutting off her phone, though I had told her I would. Something was going on with her and I wasn't sure what it was. I had an idea but I couldn't be sure unless she told me either way. So Raven would have to find a way to explain at some time. Hope was she would do it sooner or later. If she was anything like I was as a teen it was a boy that was making all this bomb that had blown up. Mom hadn't called me back so I knew she was stewing over me hanging up on her. It wasn't like I had never done it before. Normally I wouldn't have done it, but she had started with the screaming.

"You thinking about the twins?" Draven asked as he brushed my hair off my shoulder.

"Yes, Lucien asked me not to turn off her phone." I told him with a sigh. "I wouldn't have turned her phone off though. Even though I threaten it. Raven wouldn't know how to live without that phone."

"True, but neither would you." Draven grunted when I elbowed him in the ribs. "Ooof"

I laughed at the look of hurt on his face. That hit wasn't that hard so I know it was more the shock that I did. The trip home wasn't that bad, but my mind was still on what happened with Raven. Maybe if we had just talked it out things would have turned out different. Trouble was she didn't want to talk to me about anything. It made the whole thing worse when you don't try to talk about what is going on in your life. When we pulled up to the house I smiled. As we went up to the house I thought I saw someone by the garage.

"Draven someone is by the garage." I pointed toward the side of the house, where someone was standing looking at the car.

"Act like you see nothing." Draven told me as we got out of the car.

Just as we started to go toward the house Edgar appeared attacking whoever it was. They screamed as Edgar clawed at there arms. I could smell the blood knowing that it wasn't a vampire. A moment later Edgar flew to the fence post standing there looking at the person. Draven grabed them by the arm pulling them out of the shadow. The...well I wasn't sure what it was. It seemed to be in the middle of a shift or change. Something was strange and off about his blood. Once he was in the light Edgar cawed as he flew further away from him.

"What is in witches tit is that?" Edgar cawed when he perched on the lamp post.

"I want to say a cursed human, but I'm not sure. Why not ask." Draven didn't let go of him only looked at him for an answer.

"I'm cursed but I don't think a witch did it." He talked but his words where slurred because his mouth wasn't formed right.

"If it was a witch they did a half ass job. Look at me I was cured forever ago." Edgar fluffed his feathers.

"Why are you here?" Draven asked letting go of the mans arm.

"Umm I can't really tell you. Something pulled me to this house. When no one was here I just stuck around. You have great hunting here at least." He gave a half smile.

"Well we can't let you come in in that condition." I told him but was shocked when I saw his arms where fully healed. "Oh you do heal fast."

We all went into the house, the man or thing walked in last. Edgar flew in before us finding a place to land. The man seemed to walk with a limp. I wondered how he could move at all. He was misformed in so many ways. His legs looked almost like wolves but human colored. HIs body was covered in wolf fure, but his skin was still human colored. The face was the part that scared me a little. It was more wolf then human. His mouth was enlongated with human and wolf teeth. It was shocking to see and stranger yet he was wearing pants over his bottom half. When you looked to his feet you saw paws sticking out of sneakers. Though he had paws he still walked like a human. Just a little off as he stepped. I half expected him to topple over. When we entered the kitchen he fell onto the chair, huffing as he did. There was really something wrong with this man.

"Maybe we should call Elysium to come check him out." I told Draven who agreed leaving to call her.

"No, I hate doctors." He said with a growl.

"To late sir, she is more than a doctor. She is an amazing woman who doesn't care what you look like. She helps everyone. Maybe she can help you iwth what is going on. I am going to guess you are either half werewolf or bitten by one." I didn't know for sure, I had only meet a few werewolves in my short life.

"Bitten wolves don't look like that mashed potato." Edgar cawed from the cabient

"I could just eat you." He growled up at Edgar.

"Even if you did he would still llive. Maybe in your stomach. Not something I would want." I told him laughing at the look on his face.

"For real? He would live through that?" He looked from me to Edgar. "Have you been eatten before?"

I brust out laughing at the look on his face and the way Edgar was glaring at him. I laughed so hard I was crying from it. When Draven came into the kitchen again he looked between the three of us and I lost it all over again. I was doubled over with laughter when I had to sit down to catch my breath. Almost twenty minutes later I was able to sit there while they told Draven what happened. I lost it again over it however so I was laughing so much my face hurt.

"Seeing as she can't talk at the moment, what is your name?" Draven was trying hard not to laugh with me.

"My name is Juilian. I know your daughter." Juilian spoke but didn't look at either of us.

Maybe this was why she was acting like she had been. Did she think we would disagree with him? If we could help thim then we would. No matter what if help was needed we would give it. So we sat waiting on Elyisum to get to the house. I took my phone out and texted Lucien to see if he knew about Juilian. He texted me right back saying he had no idea but he would ask Raven. No two seconds later my phone rang. It was Raven.
