I showed the phone to Draven who almost laughed at the fact Raven was calling me right after texting her brother. When I answered the phone I could hear her growling through the phone. I wanted to laugh at it but I couldn't. She wanted to protect him and I didn't blame her one bit.
"If you hurt him I will kill you." Raven screamed into the phone.
"Daughter, you really shouldn't say things like that. Also I would never harm him. Now Edgar has no worries about hurting him." I looked toward Juilian who was looking at the floor. "He does blush though."
"I mean it, you hurt him!" Raven growled through the phone.
"Raven for shit sake stop being a pain in the ass." Edgar said over my shoulder. "That isn't the kind of person your mom is."
Juilian looked very uncomfortable as Raven kept screaming at me through the phone. It was rather funny that she didn't seem to understand that we have already told her we wouldn't harm him. He had done nothing to us and I doubted he would even think like that. So I let her fume for a few moments when I finally told her to shut up.
"Raven shut up for a moment. Juilian came to the house most likely looking for you. We got here and found him hiding at the side of the house. Edgar went after him and clawed his arms pretty good, but he healed in a few moments. I have called Eylsium to come and see if she can help him. We wouldn't dream of harming him. Seeing as he did nothing to us and I doubt he would want to. So if you want to come home and sit with him you are welcome. Bring..." I looked at the phone then chuckled. "She hung up."
"Bet she gets here within an hour." Draven said with a smile.
"She really should wait till night falls again." Juilian told him with a frown.
"Oh she didn't get to tell you. She is a day walker." I told him beaming with pride. "I hope Lucien comes with her. Juilian do you need some food?"
"That would be amazing. Anything rare would work, I do eat other stuff. Mostly rare meat." He told me with a smile.
"Not sure if we have any meat here. Maybe Draven could make a run to the market." I looked at my husband to see him smiling at me.
"It is okay I did catch a deer earlier." He smiled his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
We sat and chatted until the front door was slammed open. Telling us that Raven had arrived home. Her brother was right behind her trying to get her to listen to him. The moment she entered the room she stopped cold. Looking between us as we sat at the table talking about what was happening in the world. Lucien ran right into her which sent her falling into her father. He caught her putting her back on her own two feet. Raven looked at Juilian then to us again. It was like she couldn't understand why he was there and why we didn't kill him.
"Did you really think we would kill him?" I asked her looking at her when I spoke. The look on her face told me what I needed to know. "You don't know me very well then."
"It is true though that vampires didn't normally leave werewolves alive. That was a long time ago when that happened." Draven told her with a sigh.
"They used them for rug." Edgar cawed at Raven making her glare at him.
"I might do what mom started and cook you." Raven didn't really have the heat behind those words.
I couldn't help but laugh at her. She had been the one getting pissed off at me wanting to cook him. Now she wanted to cook him. It was a large turn around for her. Lucien just stood looking at us with a smile on his face. He knew that we wouldn't harm Juilian and I knew that she knew who he was.
"Did you at least close the front door?" I asked Lucien who turned and went to close the door. Only to open it a moment later to let Elysium in.
"You made great time." I told her when she entered the kitchen.
"I was already on the way over here." Elysium told me with a smile. "So who is this young man?"
"Juilian." he told her with a smile.
"Well I would need to take blood, if you are willing. Then I would want to take some xrays." Elysium smiled again when he nodded his head. "We can go to the clinic to do those. That way we can do most of that here. Most don't like the big lab."
"Big lab?" He asked looking at Raven.
"It is under the house out in the middle of no where. It is truely a lab, like you see in the movies." Raven told him then chuckled when he looked worried. "They won't lock you up."
"Oh lord no, it wouldn't help anything to do that." Elysium told her with a frown. "Did you really think I would do that?"
"I-I...." Raven studdard as she looked at the hurt on Elysium's face.
"You should really think about that before you say things like that to people. I would never lock people up. The only time that is called for is if they go rouge or are in a blood lust state." Elysium gave Raven a hard look before she turned to Juilian. "Would you come with me? I am sure you can come back after."
"Umm, can Raven come?" Juilian really liked Raven and I couldn't say I mind him at all.
"If she can behave then yes she can." Elysium left the kitchen heading back toward the front of the house.
We watched as Raven helped Juilian up. They walked hand in claw to the front door. I heard them close the door behind them. When I looked at Draven I could see that he was worried. Did I miss something? After a moment I figured I would ask.
"Why the look?" I asked not sure why he had changed that fast.
"Go on Bloody Prince, tell her." Edgar danced from foot to foot.
"What?" I didn't like this at all.
"It is just...Well..." Draven couldn't seem to get the words out.
"Bloody hell! Vampires don't date Werewolves. It is outlawed for a reason. If they do date they can't have children. Not that they can't make a baby, but the baby isn't right." Edgar told me looking down at the floor then to me.
"You are joking right?" I looked between them. "Raven loves that boy."
"Nat if he is a werewolve, bitten or born she can't marry him." Draven told me but looked away when I glared.
"What if he is cursed and he doesn't know it." I suggested and he couldn't seem to find an answer to that. "You can tell your daughter. I'm not doing it."
