Chapter 140 140
"You know, I found that strange too," I said to her as Valen opened the doors to the pack house for us. We went through the main hall and to the elevator and up to the second floor. As we got off the elevator we could hear children playing in my office.
Lance was there when I opened the door.
I led Raven into the room. Everyone was silent. Even the children had stopped playing and were looking at Raven. Leo just stood there looking at his sister. I had forgot to tell Lance to tell them she was blind. After a few very uncomfortable moments Raven finally spoke.
"Hello, I'm Raven, how can I help you?" She asked.
"Raven, has it been that long that you do not recognize your own brother?" Leo asked.
"Leo?" Raven questioned.
"You look just like I remember mother," Leo said. Raven became aware that Leo did not know she was blind.
"Leo, you should have been told before I got here, I'm blind. I can only see shadows of people and things." Raven said pinching my arm to let me know I was in trouble. I quickly told her it was Lances fault.
"Titan please take me to sit down." Raven asked. I sat her in the large chair.
"Raven, I'm sorry, how did it happen?" Leo asked. Raven ignored his question and changed the subject.
"Are these your children Leo?" She asked.
The woman got up and went over to Raven touching her hand.
"My name is Silvia, I'm your brother’s mate, we have a daughter Viola who is seven and a son named William who is five. It is a pleasure to finally meet you." She said.
"Nice to meet you as well, Silvia. Leo we both named our sons after father. Our William is just over three months old." Raven chuckled.
"Where is you mate?" Leo asked. Raven's eyes changed color.
"I'm sorry Leo, it seems you were not told a lot of thing. Alpha Titan is my mate and husband." She said calmly but I could feel the anger she was trying to keep inside.
"Please forgive my ignorance Luna Raven,'
Silvia said.
'You're Luna of this pack?" Leo asked.
"Yes, does that surprise you?" Raven asked.
"No, not at all, someone could have said something to us." Leo said.
"I agree, don't you Lance?" Raven asked him.
"Yes, Luna." Lance said. Before the conversation could go any further Mother and Kendra came into the office.
"Raven you and your brother look so much a like." Mother said.
"I will have to trust your word on that, Luna Loria." Raven said with a smile.
"Leo, this is Titan's mother and sister Kendra." Raven said.
"Ok everyone to the family room this is not a place for a family reunion." Mother said.
We all went down to the family room and Bre brought down William.
LEO'S POV
Kendra and Luna Loria took Silvia and the children up to the third floor. Bre Raven's assistant took Raven's pup up to their suit.
Two Alpha's arrived. Garrison and Blake.
We were all sitting in the family room still, Raven had more coffee brought in. I noticed the Raven had a very large warrior at her side all the time unless she asked him to do something. Raven relaxed in the chair she was sitting in. She smiled in my direction, but it looked forced.
"Leo, now that your mate and the children are not here, we have a lot of questions for you. I'm sure Raven does too." Alpha Garrison said as he sat down with his coffee.
"Ask your questions, I will answer what I can." I told them.
"How did you end up at our gate?" Raven asked.
"That is an easy question my sister. As I told Lance I'm a lawyer. I had to meet with some one at a large law firm to finalize some papers. One of the lawyers saw me talking to the receptionist. He introduced himself as Aaron Hart. I told him my name, and he took me to a private office. He told me that everyone had been searching for me. He said it was extremely important that I took my family and came here right way. He also said there were some not so nice people looking for me. I told him that I did not need to come here. Then he told me Raven was here.
I tried to explain I had not seen Raven since she was eight years. He finally convinced me after an hour to go home and come here so here we are." I said.
"Did you not look for me when you got older?" Raven asked me.
"I didn't know where to look, Raven, there were no records of where you were taken to." I told her.
"That is where you are wrong Leo, you remember my friend Clare she found the records but found no records of you only of mother." Raven told me.
"Raven, when you were taken and they shot father, I left mother she let them take you I was so angry, I lived in the men’s population and had nothing to do with mother. I put myself through school and met Silvia. I moved to her pack." I told her.
"So in mother's most valuable time you up and left her so she lost everyone, she loved that day. How could you have done that to her?' Raven asked me her eyes changing color.
"I was stupid, Raven. I only thought about how I had lost my sister and father. I did not care how anyone else felt. I will always regret it. When they started this whole thing about finally investigating the pack mother was gone there was no way to find out where she was sent." I told her. I knew I was a shit, but why did she bring up a woman we would never see again.
"Your wrong again, Leo. Clare found your mother we have been one step behind whoever has her now." Alpha Blake said.
" I guess, I will take my family and leave. I'm sorry Raven." I said. I got up to leave the room, but Ravens words stopped me dead in my tracks.
"Running away again, Leo, where will that get you?" Raven said.
"I can tell when I'm not wanted somewhere." I said to her.
"Sit down, Leo, you're not going anywhere this is your home. Maybe you don't know who you are. But it is time you learned." Raven said.
"We have to find your mother, now," Alpha Garrison said.
"Hunter and Morris are not talking. Other then denying they ever had anything to do with taking Clare from Jomel. They are facing some fines but unless we find out where they stashed her, they have to release them." Alpha Blake said.
I was confused. I had no idea what they were talking about. Suddenly Raven stood up. The big warrior guy was at her side.
"You will have to excuse me, everyone I need to go upstairs now, please Valen." She said there was an urgency in her voice.
