Chapter 114 - The Blessed Luna

Selene's POV

At 11:59, four screams were heard all at once. At 12 midnight on the dot, were the sounds of the four most beautiful cries. Four princes born at exactly the same minute, born to rule over all the supernaturals of the world.

"Our babies are here." Lady Bane said excitedly.

"I can't wait to see them, hold them, love them, and spoil them." Joel gushed to Garrick.

I sat back and watched as everyone in the hall was getting excited about the babies that were just born. I smiled as Helios put his arm around my shoulder hugging me to him. We have all became a huge family. My goal in my life was to have peace between all creatures, including titans and gods. Looking at everyone right now, I know that goal is possible.

"I'm so excited and soon I'll have my own grandbaby to spoil." Celest beamed brightly.

A few minutes later a crash cart was being rushed into Elizabetha's room. We knew her unheard of pregnancy would be a very risky thing. The nurses brought the baby out and was trying to rush him to another room. Hyperion stood up and stopped them.

"What good are we as titans and gods if we do not give life?" Hyperion said, taking the baby in his arms. "Selene, go save his mother."

I nodded my head and started to run to the room. I turned to see Hyperion breathing life back into the baby, before entering the room. Suddenly, he started breathing and crying. Daminix ran out right as I got to the door.

"I don't know what to do." He was panicked and crying.

"Calm down. Your baby is fine. I will make sure your wife is as well. Go to him." I said pushing him aside so I could go inside.

When I got in she wasn't moving. The doctor and nurses were trying their best, but nothing was working. I went over to her side and everyone moved away. I took her in my arms and hugged her tight.

"Kore." I yelled.

"Hellooooo, oh no. What is going on?" Persephone rushed over to me.

"She just gave birth and she crashed. Hyperion saved the baby. I need you. You are the goddess of life and death."

She nodded her head. She took Elizabetha's face in her hands. She got so close you would think they were kissing.

"If I do this she will return fully renewed, she's dead. I can't simply revive her, I have to bring her back from the Underworld. She won't be a vampire anymore. She will turn back into the minor goddess she was."

"I don't care, Kore. Save her now, please. We can worry about that later."

"Yes, please. I don't care if she isn't a vampire." Daminix said from the doorway.

"What's going on?" I heard Thomas coming up behind him. "Shelby said something wasn't right, to check on Elizabetha."

Daminix turned to Thomas. I caught a glimpse of Thomas' shocked face as Daminix pulled him into the hall. Persephone took a deep breath in and slowly let it out. She was taking all the death out and breathing life back into her. Thankfully, it didn't take long. Elizabetha started to stir.

"Thank you so much, Kore." I said, hugging her. "I don't know what I would've done. I don't know what any of the kids would've done."

"Just tell them to make sure to follow the path." She smiled sweetly and disappeared.

"What happened? Where am I?" Elizabetha asked as she looked around.

"Honey, oh my goodness. Thank Kore." Daminix said as he rushed to her side.

"Who ... who are you?" Elizabetha asked him with confusion.

"I'm your husband. You don't remember me?" He looked over at me and then back at her.

"Kore said that she would be made anew. Maybe her memory getting wiped clean is part of that, or maybe her memories will return gradually."

"Honestly, I don't care. I'm just glad you're here and safe. Our son is healthy and doing well now too."

"Our son?"

"Yes, he ...

Daminix started to explain as I walked out the door to see the baby. He was as cute as could be in Hyperion's arms. His hair a jet black mess and eyes as red as ever. He was a vampire through and through. Soon, Daminix came back out to get him, to take him in so Elizabetha could see him. We all sat out in the hall chit chatting. We saw Thomas run into each room. What is he up to?

"Excuse me everyone. Can we have your attention? We would like to announce the new members of our family." Thomas said before going back in their room.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the future King of the Vampires, and King of the Light, ... Damian Victor Validrid." He said proudly as Lady Bane took the baby to pass around.

"My turn next." James laughed. "Future Beta of the Blue Moon Howlers pack, and King of the Sight, ... Robert Jameson Joel Garrick Michaels. We are going to call him RJ."

"Only you two would complicate a baby's life with such a name." Joel laughed out. "Give me my grandson."

Joel took the baby as Liam stepped up.

"Well, I'll take my turn." He chuckled. "Future Gamma of the Blue Moon Howlers pack, and King of Knowledge, ... Leonidas Socrates Knight."

"Hephaestus would have been better." Hephaestus huffed.

"I disagree. I was sure they were going to name him Ares." Ares huffed.

"Why would they be that stupid?" Athena laughed. "Give us our nephew."

She took the baby into her arms. Hephaestus and Ares were cooing at it.

"I guess it's my turn. Please say hello to my son, future Alpha of the Blue Moon Howlers pack, and King of Power, ... Alexander Theodore Knight" Thomas beamed with pride.

"Even his name holds some weight to it. May I have my grandson?" Helios beat me to him.

I huffed as he laughed at me. We all passed the babies around to see each other. RJ had blonde hair like James, but had Jenna's honey eyes and tan skin. Leonidas was Jackie made over with little hints of Liam thrown in here and there. Alexander, however, was a perfect blend of Shelby and Thomas. He even had heterochromia, one eye green and one eye gray. He had a dark blonde hair with light highlights. He looked like Shelby and Thomas personally made him in a lab, each one giving Alex what the other loves about the other. My heart swelled so much seeing these babies. These perfect beings that we have been waiting a lot longer than 10 moons to arrive. I took this opportunity to go check on Shelby.

"How are you feeling?" I asked as I opened the door. "Do you need anything?"

"I'd like to see what I actually gave birth to." She laughed. "Thomas grabbed him as soon as he was born. Then, when he ran out to check on Elizabetha he handed him to a nurse, who had to clean him up. When he came back in here he grabbed him again before I got him, and now he was in a hurry to run and show everyone else. Is my son ok? Healthy? How's Elizabetha?"

"He is perfect." I laughed at what she said. "You have a whole lifetime to see him. She is alive and doing better."

"Yeah, I know. That's why I don't mind Thomas having his proud dad moment."

"Oh ... well ... that was taken away." I laughed. "Your dad never got to have the proud dad moment so now he's having the proud grandpa moment. I don't know if any of us will get Alex back now that Helios has him. He even beat me to him."

Shelby just laughed. I stroked her hair and hugged her close to me.

"I'm so proud of the woman you have become."

"Thanks, mom."

We just stayed like that for awhile. Thomas came in a few minutes later.

"I wanted to check on Shelby, but your husband won't give me my baby back." Thomas whined.

"Serves you right. I haven't even seen him and I'm the mom." Shelby giggled.

"You saw ... Oh crap, you're right."

"I will go see if I can get Alex back for you to see, sweetie." I laughed walking out the door.

I walked out in the hall to see Hyperion and Helios fighting over Alex.

"You've had him long enough, son."

"This is my grandson. I didn't get to do this with my daughter."

"Well he's my great grandson, so hand him over."

I just chuckled, rolling my eyes. These two fighting over a baby, epic. I hope everyone takes these next 20 years in stride. Enjoying all the joys of these babies growing up. I hope the kids don't mind all of us being around. It's going to be a very busy household.

"Selene, we have a problem." Asteria said popping in.

My mother rushed over to her. "She's bleeding!"

"Who did this? What happened?" I yelled while rushing to her other side.

"Zeus, he ... he got Gaia." She stammered out.

"Kore." I yelled.

"Sorry Selene but we ... what happened?" She said appearing in front of me. "We got a huge problem in the Underworld too."

"Let me guess ... Zeus?"

"Yes, he broke into Tartania. He ... He ... He stole the souls of Apollo and Artemis. He left Leto in Tartarus." Persephone informed us.

"He took Gaia too." Asteria said.

"What in the world is he planning now." Hyperion huffed. "Get the babies to their mothers. Lady Bane, you and the others watch the them. We better go to the Underworld and talk to Hades. You ladies help Asteria."

Helios took Alex back to Thomas. Hyperion, Helios, Ares, and Hephaestus left to go to the Underworld.

"Let's get her in a room." The head nurse said to us.

We agreed and two male nurses brought a bed. They helped her on and wheeled her off to a room close by, with us hot on their heels. We got into a room and we all accessed Asteria. Kore tried to heal her, but failed. Soon after Shelby walked in.

"You should be in your room. You just had a baby." I scolded her.

"Hecate said I could help her."

Shelby walked over to her and put her hands on her wound. She started to glow a bright white. Sure enough, Shelby healed her. My little angel was a powerful witch, an amazing goddess. She had inherited Hyperion's healing light.

"What happened?" Shelby asked once she was done.

Asteria was as good as new. Not even a scar was left behind. We explained what we know so far.

"Very well, I will go back to my son." She said turning and leaving.

We all stared at each other.

"We have to get my mother back and kill Zeus." Rhea said determined. "He's going to bring Apollo back to kill Shelby."

"We will find him, but we need someone to constantly be with the kids. He knew the babies were going to be born today and he knew this was his chance to take action." I told them. "He will take the babies to get what he wants if push comes to shove."

"We will have others to guard them as well. I'll have the warriors and demigods be with them at all times. Ares, Heph, and myself will be more than happy to move in with them to protect them." Athena declared.

"Let's find out what Hades says, first. We will all have to figure this out together and plan our moves carefully. We have a lot more at risk now with the babies here." I nodded my head in agreement. "We must also keep the kids out of this. We don't need our new parents stressing over any of this stuff."
