Chapter 99 He Already Knows
Ana was not expecting him to say this to her, especially not right now.
“I do not know what your saying”
“You do not have to give me a response right now. Just know that I want to be in a romantic relationship with you, I want to have something serious with you. I will do everything possible to make you mine, I just want to let you know that from today onwards I’m going to woo you until you accept me” Fernando said, still serious.
Ana opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. Instead he kissed her and she responded like she was hypnotized.
They kissed for a long time before she disengaged from the kiss to catch her breath.
She turned to look at her daughter and saw she was still sleeping soundly.
“We can’t be doing this sort of thing in front of her, Fernando”
“I agree, so the next time we do it we will do it behind closed doors and with other activities included” Fernando smirked.
Ana widened her eyes “That is not what I meant”
“Then what did you mean?” Fernando asked.
“That we should not do it again, especially without my consent”
Fernando smiled
“I mean it, you have to wait for my approval, didn’t you say you wanted to wait till I agree to date you? Ana asked.
Fernando nodded “Yes but when you make me wait too long, I might take laws into my hands”
Ana rolled her eyes and tried to get up but he held her down “Not so fast woman”
“What is it?”
“I want to hold you” Fernando said
Ana was taken aback “No and also, my mother will soon be here”
“She is not here yet,” Fernando said.
“But she will soon be and I do not want her seeing us like this”
Fernando wrapped his hand around her and kissed her cheek while admiring her facial features.
“You are more beautiful than 6 years ago. People were right when they said a woman is more beautiful in her thirties”
Ana rolled her eyes.
Fernando gave her a quick kiss.
“Stop Fernando and let me go before someone comes in” she protested.
He let her go and went back to his work.
Ana sighed and stood up then went to the restroom.
She went to the restroom and stared at her face and lips in the mirror. Her face was red.
“What is wrong with me?” she said, sighing.
She could not even resist just like the last time. This man sure has her wrapped around his finger.
She was in the rest room for a while until she had someone come into the room. She came out and saw her mother standing close to the door looking at Fernando who stood up and bowed his head to her.
She could see the shocked look on her mother’s face when she saw Fernando in the same room her granddaughter was.
Her mother turned her head and looked at her with a questionable look.
“Mother you are here”
“How is he here, does he already..?”
“Yes he already knows she is his child” Ana said before she could finish her statement.
Griselda nodded in understanding as she walked to Thea on the bed and looked at her in worry.
“Oh my poor grandchild,” Griselda said sadly.
Ana looked at Fernando who was looking at her too.
Griselda turned and looked at Fernando “I’m happy you will be in her life now because she really needs a father” Griselda said feeling at ease. She is glad her daughter had done the right thing by telling him.
Fernando nodded “Yes I’m glad, I’m happy to be her father, he said”
“What exactly did you say happened to her?” Griselda asked her daughter.
Although her mother is angry about her having a child out of wedlock. But her mother never jokes with Thea. She loves Thea so much more than she even loves her and can’t bear to see her hurt.
Ana told her everything that happened and that they had resolved it.
“Why didn’t you tell me the moment you found out? You made me sit at home worried that she was not yet back from school” Griselda sounded annoyed.
“I was so occupied with Thea that I had forgotten” Ana said to her.
Griselda looked at her before turning back to face her granddaughter.
“She will be transferred tomorrow to my hospital,” Fernando said.
“I want her to get all the rest there where the family doctor will get to monitor her closely” he added.
Fernando had noticed the awkwardness between Ana and her mother so immediately changed the topic.
“This hospital doesn’t look bad, the vip room is of standard quality,” Griselda said.
“I know, but I want her to get the best and my hospital has the best,” Fernando said.
“She is a child, it’s not great moving her around and you shouldn’t be the only one to decide that” Griselda protested.
“I’m her father” Fernando reminded her
Griselda wanted to speak but Ana stopped her from protesting further.
“We both are the ones to agree on that as the parents and I agree with him. He is a well known man and a public figure, the last thing I want is my child being shown in the news. This hospital isn’t private and safe enough so I agree on moving her to his family hospital that is more secure and private” Ana said.
Griselda was not happy that they both had disagreed with her; she did not say anything more and only nodded.
Emiliano, who was on a business trip, heard about Thea being rushed to the hospital from Ana’s secretary.
He was so worried that he left the meeting room and went somewhere quiet to call Ana. It was afternoon there but it is already night in country S.
Ana was surprised when she saw his call, she did not expect him to call her except he got information about Thea being in the hospital and since he was like a father to her, he will be concerned.
Ana looked at Thea who had already woken up and was playing with her grandmother. She also turned to look at Fernando who was busy working with his tablet.
Should she stay here and pick it or should she go outside to pick it? She did not want things to look awkward.
Fernando raised his head wondering why she was not picking the phone “Aren’t you going to pick that?”
