Kai's pov

Following the everything on the drone feed was nerve wrecking. When our people started to get close to the site we saw another explosion and we started to think the worst.

Then we saw a car speeding down the road and they were firing on some cars behind them. I told Rex about it and they speeded up a little more. When they were getting close they started to fire on the cars in the back and when Nathan drove past the first car he shouted it were Angel.

We all cheered loud about that and Rex told us to follow the car with the drones while they took care of the people following it. We ended up following the car and saw it parked in a gas station, and after a little two people walked out of it.

And when I saw my sweet baby my heart skipped a beat. The guy she were with gave her a bottle of water and then they rested sitting on the back of the trunk and Angel just leaning up against him.

When the rest of our people got there I saw how she got reunited with Jayden, Demitri and Miguel, the guy that was with Angel in the car had a big happy smile on his face that looked sincere.

She looked up in the sky and saw a drone, waved, smiled and sent a blow kiss and ended it with a wink which made all of us smiled happily.

After she had hugged everyone, she motioned for the guy to come over to her, I saw everyone go for their weapons then stopped when Angel spoke then they all had a grateful smile on their face.

Not long after they were all on their way home. And I can't wait to have my baby back in my arms. These past 9 days have been hell without her. "I will go and take a shower!" I said to the rest and they all smirked at me.

"Okay loverboy" they said in unison then snickered "Yeah yeah yeah!" I said smiling then headed up to our bedroom. I quickly took a shower then I dried off before I changed the bandages on my chest.

I brushed my teeth, shaved, styled my hair a tiny little bit, then I went to get dressed. I put on some black ripped jeans and a crystal blue colored t-shirt and a white hoodie.

You can't fault a dude for wanting to look good for his girl. Then I got back down and sat down in the couch waiting with the rest of them team. "Look like someone cleaned up nicely!" Sebastian smirked which I smiled back at.

"I remebered back in Cali you made sure you looked stylish every day just in case Angel would be hanging with us!" Sofia laughed. "Well I wasn't the only one that did that though!" I said raising and eyebrow with a small smile.

"True, we all wanted to make sure we looked good in case we got to spend the day with our baby sister!" Axel said chuckling. While we waiting for them to come back we just chilling and talking about the good old days and I had Bitsy on my lap.

Suddenly we heard some car stop outside and I gently put Bitsy aside and walk out the door as fast as I can, I'm not gonna lie, the chest wound hurts like a motherfucker but I need to see my baby in person with my own eyes as quickly as I can.

I open the door and when I get out on the stairs I see Miguel stand there with my sweet baby bunny in his arms. I quickly walk over to them and Miguel handing a sleeping Angel to me who I gratefully pull into my arms and chest gently!

"Oh baby, it's so good to see you, I have missed you so much!" I whispered not wanting to wake her up. Suddenly I feel she put her hands around my neck. "Kai, I have missed you so much, I was so worried about you, I thought I lost you!" she whispered started to cry against my shoulder.

I carried her inside and then sat down on the couch holding her tightly letting her cry it out. I felt myself cry into her neck. "How good it is to have you back home with us again baby" I whispered kissing her neck.

Then she pulled away and smashed her lips onto mine and I didn't hesitate kissing her deeply. When she pulled away she quickly lifted my t-shirt and looked at my wounded chest covered with bandages.

Then she looked at the rest of the team and Angel quickly stood up and gave them all a good tight hug. "I'm so happy to see you all made it!" she said wiping away her tears.

"How are you holding up? You are the one that have being held captive for 9 days!" Axel said looking worried at Angel. "I'm all good thanks to this guy!" Angel said then motion for the other guy from before to come forward.

"This is Charlie, and he made sure I were being okay and he helped me escape. And he help me blow William up in pieces." Angel said smirking. "Wait are you saying William is dead?" Rex asked surprised.

"Yeah, I told Charlie to put a set of explosive under his bed, and that was part of the first blast we had planed!" Angel said smirking. "Wow, just wow" Julian said shocked.

"You see, I really wanted to 'play' with him, but I figured it's better to make sure he is out of our life for good then risk him coming for one of us again!" Angel said.

"So you guys just blew him up? Like boom bang finito?" Anthony asked shocked. "Yes I would say we did. No chance he could survive that shit!" Charlie said with a serious face and Angel looked up at him and nuged him with her arm.

"Brighten up a little, we did great and we did what we intended! And in one piece!" Angel said smiling up at him. He then looked down on her with a sad expression.

"No all in one piece though!" He said still with a sad expression and I felt my heart stop beating, don't tell me she lost the baby! "Shush bestie, the scratch on my arm is nothing and that will heal with time!" She said smiling and that was when I noticed her arm and I were not the only one.

I quickly got over to her took off the cloth on her arm, "What the fuck you have been shoot and haven't said a anything about it?" I almost shouted in shock. Fabian came straight up to us and started to look at her arm.

"Angel sit down and let me fix your arm!" Fabian said in his stern doctor voice which made Angel let out a heavy sigh. "Sure thing dear" she said and walked to sit down on Demitri's lap while Fabian fixed her arm.
