Charlie's pov
After the others in the mafia went for their second attack to try to get the Vitoro princess they were sucessful. When William told me to guard her after they stripped off her clothes and William had his way with her, I honestly felt disgusted and felt so sorry for the princess.
I did notice she started to show meaning she was pregnant. And when I noticed that I made up my mind to get her out of here even if it would kill me! I don't want anyone go over the shit I have been in this mafia.
I got in this because my father had gotten into dept with Cillian and ended up selling me to him to pay off his own dept. I have never felt any kind of loyalty to Cillian, I pretend to be obidient and follow the orders given to me.
I have been ordered to kill someone before but they have not deserved it so I helped them to fake their death and Cillian never noticed. I have never been okay with how they have been treated people and seeing this girl in front of me who can't be more then 17 or maybe 18 I have to get her out!
I know I can't do anything about it when Willian is having his way with her because I have to pretend to be loyal to get her out. After the forth day William stopped giving her the setative.
And on the fifth she woke up. She looked so weak but I could also see she still had a fire in her eyes. After our converation and William got back to do what he wanted and then left I made sure to clean her body and gave her some food.
Nobody would come in until the other guard is gonna stand here so I can get some sleep. I lifted her down and gave her my jacket so she could at least feel some coverage.
We got to know each other better and she told me about her four guys and one of them got shot in the attack when she got taken. I told her about my life before I got sold to the mafia and how things are in the mafia.
A little before I had to step outside for guard change I helped Angel back up with her arms above her, we can't let the others know. The next day she told me how the guy had been jerking off in the corner and I felt honestly disgusted and sorry for Angel.
I wish it were more I could do for her but she told me she could handle it, and he didn't touch her. We started to plan our escape and even though it would take some time to put in motion we made some progress everyday.
Then when we were escaping and I saw she had been shot in the arm I couldn't help but worry. I know it was a risky plan but if anyone should be hurt it should be me and not her.
When we got to the car and she said her family were here I felt I could relax a little. At least she will soon be out of danger. And it were truly good to see their reunion.
When we got home and I saw she saw her last fiancè I knew I did the right thing to get her out. After I told them she was hurt, she tried to brush it off but I'm glad Kai got to see it and this doctor Fabian got to clean it.
After that her big brother wanted to hear everything that happened at the main base and we told them everything we could. "And now that Charlie is here with us, I want him to become apart of my security team. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him, and he have proven his loyalty as well as I trust him!" Angel said and I felt my inside melt.
She have become like a little sister I left behind when I got sold off to Cillian. "What do you say Charlie? The princess trust you enough to have her back, are you willing to join her security team?" Rex looked at me with a stern look.
"Oh please Rex don't be so stern, put a smile on your handsome face." Angel said smiling brightly and everyone had a big smile on their face and some chuckled.
"I would love too boss, I have started to look at Angel as a baby sister with our time together!" I said and Rex gave me a smile and nod. "Yay bestie" Angel said hugging me tightly.
I hugged her back. This girl is just a bundle of joy to be around. "Angel" The doctor said. "Yes Fabian?" Angel said pulling away from the hug and looked at him with a raise eyebrow.
"I would like to have a thorough check up on the pregnancy" Fabian said and the rest of the room got gloomy. "Of course, but no harm came to the baby, but sure let's go and make sure" Angel said smiling then she and Fabian went out of there together with her four guys.
"Charlie was it? Thank you for looking after my baby girl! We have been so worried about her and more then grateful she is back home, knowing she had someone looking after in that place means a lot to a moms heart!" a woman who looked pretty similar to Angel just a bit older so I guess she most be her mother.
"I'm just happy I were the one who were in charge of guarding her most of the time, and I'm glad we were able to get out of there! You have nothing to thank me for!" I said with as much sincerity I could muster.
After some more talking with everyone, Angel, Fabian and her guys came back and Angel together with her guys look somewhat pale. "Is everything okay?" Angels mom asked worried looking at Angel in Jayden's arms.
I felt my heart stop beating, I have tried hard to make sure she have been safe and that nothing have happened to her stomach! Don't tell me she lost it.
"Everything is perfectly fine, the heartbeats are strong and we have even felt some of their kicks." Fabian said with a bright smile. Myself as well as everyone here let out a deep breath.
"Wait 'heartbeats' and 'their kicks'?" her twin brother asked shocked. "Yes, one of them have always been hiding behind the other on our earlier scans. But they are both strong and healthy" Fabian explained.
And I guess the pale faces on Angel and the guys is the shock from hearing it's more then one. Everyone else burst out in happy cheers and some started to cry happy tears and I smiled brightly up at Angel who smiled back to me.
