Chapter 83 Joining the Gang part 2
After the savage trial...

The moment of truth is here!

Only a few are left and staying, wanting to join the Gang. Some of them couldn't handle the trial, so they went home. Others backed out due to the hardship they experienced during the trial. 

"Listen everyone!" Dragor shouted. 

Arina looked up, thinking Leonin is here. But her smile faded when she didn't see him.

Tessha felt the same way, Gremus is missing, and she lost her enthusiasm for some inexplicable reason. 

Evitta furrowed her brow when she didn't see Hollyr. 

"Is Hollyr over fatigued because of me?" Evitta wondered, lost in thought. 

But she suddenly smiled when she remembered what they did at the horror booth! 

"Congratulations for those who passed the trial. Welcome to the Gang!" Dragor shouted happily.

Tessha was overjoyed that she didn't pass! 
But Arina and Evitta's faces were a picture of anger. 

"What? Are you serious? I passed all the trials and I even finished first," Arina complained. 

"It can't be! I passed your useless horror booth!" Evitta angrily added. 

"That's the decision of the master. If you're not on the list of those who passed, it means you failed. I'm sorry," Dragor explained.

"Don't worry Arina, we'll join again next month," Evitta said bravely. 

"Sorry to announce, girls, but there's no next time. Once you fail to join, you've literally failed and have no chance ever again," Dragor interrupted. 

"It's unfair, I want to talk to your master!" Arina shouted angrily. 

"Yes, I'm protesting too. It's unfair!" Evitta joined. 

"Rules are rules, girls. You better join another gang," Dragor adviced. 

"I want to talk to Leonin, now!" Arina insisted.

"Calm down Arina, there's another way to talk to Steve. And besides, he's not Steve, but a Gang leader. You must move on," Tessha said calmly. 

"He is Steve, Tessha. Just leave me alone! I will never drag you again into helping me!" Arina shook off Tessha's hand from her shoulder. 

Tessha was hurt by her actions. 
She felt a bit guilty because she is actually happy that they didn't pass the trial. 

"Arina, Tessha's just looking out for you. You don't have to snap at her," Evitta intervened. 

Tessha sighed deeply, not wanting their friendship to have a gap. 

"I'm sorry Arina, it's just-" Tessha's words were cut off.

"No, it's my fault. What have I done! I'm sorry, Tessha," Arina apologized, on the verge of tears. 

In her desire to get close to Leonin, she dragged her friends into her mess! That's why she decided to keep her problem and solve it on her own, not involving Tessha and Evitta anymore. 

And lately, she can't control her anger. She's always angry for no reason at all!

"No, Arina. I'm also to blame. If you want to pursue the Gang master, I'll support you. I'm so sorry," Tessha said sadly.

She is still felt guilty about being happy because of their failure. 

"Sorry to interrupt, girls, but you can all go home, those who failed the trial," Dragor interrupted. 

He's sad for the girls. 
To him, they were friends back in Villa del Bungo. 
But he's only following orders from Gremus. 
The safety of humanity is their main priority. 

"Let's go, girls. Let's stop this drama and eat some ice cream. But - hey, Dragor, tell Hollyr that I'm not quitting, I'll be back!" Evitta winked.

Dragor shuddered at Evitta's words. 

"Condolence for you, Hollyr," He whispered with a grin. 

"Let's go and have some ice cream!" Arina said, laughing. 

Evitta's always been a troublemaker. 
But they care and accept her as their friend. 

No matter what, she's part of their friendship. Tessha couldn't help but laugh. 
She's happy their fight didn't last long. 

She loves her friends! 

"I'll be back, Leonin, I won't surrender. Brace yourself," Arina said to herself. 

Which Leonin overheard! But he heard her in his mind and thoughts.

They were just in the next room. The wall is a tinted glass, where you can't see inside the room, but those inside can see outside. 

Gremus and Hollyr were there. 
He didn't want to come out, maybe Arina wouldn't let him be. 

Even Hollyr developed a phobia of Evitta. 
He thinks Gremus made the right decision not to accept them into the Gang. It's for their safety.

"I can hear Arina's thoughts!" Leonin shouted. 

Gremus and Hollyr furrowed their brows in confusion. 

"What? She's not part of your pack and she's human. How come?" Gremus asked, puzzled. 

"Maybe you're just mistaken, Leonin, and heard something and thought it was Arina's voice," Hollyr suggested. 

"No, I can still hear her! And she's cursing me right now," Leonin said, shaking his head. 

"It's a puzzle, Leonin. Arina's not a wolf," Gremus said thoughtfully. 

"It's indeed a question mark," Hollyr agreed.

"Gremus, Arina's in pain. I should go to her!" Leonin said, panicking. 

"You know the rules, Leonin, you can't," Gremus refused. 

"I'm sorry, but she's in so much pain. I'll face my punishment later." Leonin insisted. 

And in just a second, Leonin sped to Arina. 

"What's wrong with your stomach, Arina?" Tessha asked, concerned. 

"I-I don't know, I'm vomiting." And Arina vomited again. 

"OMG! Are you pregnant, Arina?" Evitta asked, her eyes wide with shock.

"What are you saying, Evitta?" Tessha scolded her. 

Arina's mind went blank. That hot night with Leonin... 

But it's only been a day since we had sex! Arina screamed in her mind, which Leonin heard. 

"Let's talk, Arina," Leonin's voice echoed in Arina's mind. 

He just can't believe he'll be able to use mind linking with Arina! 

"Leonin, is that you?" Arina asked, looking around in shock. 

"Leonin? He's not here, Arina," Evitta said, confused.

"But I heard his voice," Arina said uncertainly. 

She was surprised to hear Leonin's voice too. 

"Maybe you're not feeling well, Arina. We'll drop you home so you can rest, or to the hospital for a check-up?" Tessha asked. 

"I think of the hospital? We didn't hear Leonin's voice, Arina. Maybe you're stressed from the trial earlier, that's why you're hearing things," Evitta suggested. 

But before Arina could answer, she heard Leonin's voice again. 

"Come in here, now!" Leonin commanded.

He's nearby, and he can feel Arina's pain. 
He can smell another scent from her. His wolf is jealous! 

"I better go, Leonin's calling me," Arina said. 

She was about to leave, but Evitta stopped her. 

"Oh my God, what's happening to you, Arina? Tessha, we need to take Arina to the hospital!" Evitta shouted, almost in tears. 

To them, it seemed like Arina was going crazy, hearing Leonin's voice when they couldn't. 

"I think we should follow Evitta's suggestion, Arina," Tessha agreed.

"Oh, my stomach's aching again!" Arina cried, clutching her stomach. 

"You better hang in there, I'll call the ambulance," Tessha said, quickly grabbing her phone. 

But before she could dial, Leonin arrived. 
He swiftly scooped Arina up, catching the other scent on her. 

Leonin struggled to resist into shifting his wolf form. He's going crazy with the scent, unable to explain why. 

And he confirmed it when he touched Arina. There's a heartbeat inside her stomach! 

Tessha was shocked by Leonin's actions, and then Gremus suddenly appeared!
