ANGEL'S POV

As I listened to Leo's sisters gossip about him and a certain girl, my heart sank. I couldn't believe what I was hearing: Leo, my Leo, falling for someone who was, in my opinion, not good enough for him. A big, for nothing girl? That was not the kind of match I had envisioned for Leo.

But even as I processed this information, a fierce determination grew within me. I was not going to let this happen while I was still alive. Leo would never fall for someone like her, not when he had me. I had to act fast before this situation spiraled out of control.

I set out to find Leo, my heart racing with anticipation. As I saw him coming towards me, sword in hand and anger etched on his face, I knew I had to tread carefully. He was ready to destroy anything that stood in his way, and I couldn't let that be the fate of this girl.

With all the courage I could muster, I stepped forward and tried to calm him down. I could feel the tension in the air, thick as molasses, but I refused to back down. I knew that I had to make him see reason, to help him understand that going against the moon goddess's wishes was not the answer.

"I want to kill that bastard," Leo growled, his eyes blazing with fury. "She can never be my mate." Anything that the moon goddess wants to do, let her do it. "But she can't decide a fate that will ruin my years of staying in power and protecting this pack."

His words shook me to my core. I knew that Leo was not someone to be trifled with when it came to matters of the pack. But I also knew that he was a fair and just leader, one who would listen to reason if it was presented to him in the right way.

"No, don't go against the moon goddess's wishes like that," I said softly, trying to keep the panic out of my voice. "You know what she might be capable of." "Let's just look for a way to get rid of her instead of taking it this way."

As I spoke, I could feel Leo's anger slowly dissipating. He looked at me with something akin to gratitude in his eyes, and I knew that I had done the right thing.

Leo's grip on the sword tightened as he handed it to his brother, his eyes never leaving me. We moved toward the entrance, his footsteps matching mine. Despite the rage boiling inside me, I tried to keep a calm demeanor. I didn't want him to see that side of me yet.

Leo was not a man to be trifled with. He had a reputation for being ruthless and unforgiving, and for good reason. He was the Lycan of our pack and had been trained to protect us at all costs. But this time, he had failed me.

But the only reason she was still alive was because of the moon goddess. Leo had promised me that he would not harm her, but I knew he was itching to. And if it weren't for the goddess's intervention, he would have cut off her head from her body.

Leo tried to apologise for keeping his mate a secret, but I brushed it off. I didn't care about that. What I cared about was losing him to her. I couldn't bear the thought of him choosing her over me.

As we walked, I plotted my revenge. I knew exactly how I was going to destroy her. She would never be in my class. She was just a big pig and always would be. The elders had already chosen me as the one who would be Leo's Luna, so I had nothing to worry about. But still, I would tread carefully. Anything could happen.

I held Leo's hand tightly, my anger simmering just beneath the surface. I gave him a warm hug and left to attend to others, my mind already formulating a plan to take down his mate.

Leo watched me go, his eyes following my every move. He knew I was angry, but he didn't understand the depth of my rage. He didn't realize that I was capable of anything to keep him by my side.

As I walked away, I knew that things would never be the same between us. Leo had made his choice, and now I had to make mine.

As I stepped into my office, my heart was pounding with anger and frustration. The moon goddess had chosen another mate for my beloved Leo, and he was not happy about it. I needed to talk to someone about this, and there was only one person I trusted enough to share my feelings with.

I quickly dialed my best friend's number and waited impatiently for her to come. As soon as she entered my office, I launched into my story, telling her about the moon goddess's cruel decision and the new mate she had chosen for Leo.

To my surprise, my friend's reaction was one of shock and disbelief. "You won't believe that the moon goddess chose another mate for Leo, and he is not happy about it though," I told her as she opened her mouth in surprise.

She knew me well enough to understand that I was not the type of person to accept defeat. I had to fight for what was mine, no matter what it took. "So what are you going to do now?" she asked. "Are you going to allow Leo to go into someone else's arms?"

I looked at her with determination in my eyes and a fire in my heart. "No," I said firmly. "I must fight for what is mine in any way that I can." "I must do it."

My friend nodded understandingly, knowing that I would never give up without a fight. " Watch and see what

I told my friend to go and get us something for lunch because I was hungry. I have wasted lots of energy talking about a non-living thing that thinks that she is living.

"How will you come from another pack and take over the pack that I'm inside? It's never going to happen." She is not even a werewolf, just an ordinary human. I can't tell what the moon goddess saw in her that made her choose such a person to be my Leo's mate.

My mind was racing with thoughts as I sat at the table with my friend, who had brought food for me. But I couldn't eat. My mind was still preoccupied with the pack house, wondering what was going on there at that moment. My friend could sense my unease and asked me what was bothering me.

I explained to her that I was worried about Leo, my love interest. Although he hated that plus-size women presented themselves to him as mates, I couldn't shake the feeling that he might change his mind and fall for her. The thought of it made me feel sick to my stomach. I wished I could go to the pack house and see what was happening for myself.

As I sat there, lost in thought, I spoke out loud without realizing it. "I don't care if Leo's sisters hate me or not. I don't like them either. I only care about Leo. "But when I become the Luna of the pack, I'll make sure they suffer." My friend was surprised at my outburst but urged me to forget about it for now and eat so that I could regain my strength.

As I began to eat, I forced myself to swallow every bite. But my mind was still racing.

Though I already lost my appetite, I have to force myself.

"But could it be that this is the plan between Leo's sisters against me?" I asked my friend as she nodded in agreement.

"Exactly, they might be the ones planning to make sure you don't become their brother's Luna," my friend said, concurring with what I said.

"I think I already know what to do," I said to my friend, but I didn't tell her what my next move was. Because I don't trust anyone at this moment, I have to be more careful than ever. I slowly pushed the food away and stood up.
