Chapter 78 - The Alpha’s Goddess

Epilogue

~CALLIE'S P.O.V~

10 YEARS LATER

After a lot of tedious work, with the help of everyone, I managed to create a peaceful life among the supernatural. I won't say disturbance doesn't occur, because I would be lying, it does. But overall, we have managed to turn around the lives of so many. Arthur visited before my twins were born with a curiosity about what their future would bring. He said he had been waiting all his existence to see what the legend would create. He helped a lot with guiding our little Rosaline with her thirst and her instincts about how to curve her appetite. She has her daddy, of course, but Arthur and Rosie have this indescribable bond. I am afraid to admit it, but with Rosie being part wolf it frightens me that he could be her mate. Arthur would protect her, of course, but he had a dark past. Not something I love to think about, but I guess in reality we all have a dark past. Rosie was very beautiful, she had long black hair with blue eyes, and her personality reminded me a lot of myself as a child. She was always so happy and carefree.

Then there was our little Rezeil. He favored his dad, his blonde hair shaggy and beautiful big blue eyes. There was also his personality, which was a lot like Gunner's. He was so independent and strong. He was what you would expect an Alpha heir to be like. He showed how good he would be as a leader by helping his dad with his duties. He spends a lot of time with his uncle Daxton during the summer at the royal palace learning from him as well.

Speaking of which, after a year of battling how he felt, Daxton finally gave in to Jade. They are now happily married, living at the palace as King and Queen, with two littles of their own. Both boys. One was named Rydell and the other was named Kieran. They both look so much like Jade with their brown hair and brown eyes. Rydell was the firstborn, making him next in line for the throne. Guess I can really call Jade my sister now.

"Mom, Mom!" Rosie called out to me as she ran toward me, breaking me away from my thoughts. I was in the meadow preparing for our weekly family lunch. Our picnic was always after training, so they would all be filtering in soon. Both twins started training early on, with our son being the next Alpha to our pack and then with Rosie having magic. It was important to teach her control as well as battle skills.

"Momma, look what I learned!" She yelled again as she kicked high in the air before disappearing and popping up right in front of me.

"Very good baby! Teleporting is a wonderful thing to accomplish!" I said with praise.

"I can only go short distances, but yesterday I couldn't even do that!"

"Oh yeah, well look what I learned, Mom!" Rezeil said as he came over the hill.

He ran over to Rosie and tried to bear hug her body, only she was a little faster than him and getting right out of his grasp by using teleportation.

"Not fair! She used magic! She knows I don't have magic!"

"Now what did I say about battling against someone with magic, Rezeil?" Gunner's voice piped in when he also came into view.

"That we have to be prepared for any battles, including those who have abilities I do not," Rezeil replied with a bummed voice at his lecture.

"That's right, so if she uses magic you need to figure out her counter move. Get into her mind, figure her out. You are an Alpha, which means you can feel their vibes and guess her movements based on how they have been fighting. Never let your guard down, and always be-"

"Prepared." Rezeil finished his dad's sentence for him.

"Exactly," Gunner responded.

"Rosaline, I am so proud of you, Arthur told me what you did today!" Leo hollered out as he joined us at the picnic area we chose to go to every Sunday, just as my family had with me as a child.

"What about me?" Rezeil said while Rosie had a big smile on her face at being praised again.

"I heard you took down a tendered guard, that's awesome bud!" Leo praised Rezeil, making his face light up with a smile at his praises too.

"Thanks!" He said as he got up from the ground, touched Rosie, and yelled "Tag you're it" before running off into the flowered meadow bringing back beautiful memories of my own. We sat there watching our wonderful children play tag.

"Lovett still insisted she never meant what she did," Leo said sorrowfully.

"Guess she can wear her bangles forever," I said before looking back at the children.

I made special cuffs similar to trial cuffs. Except they weren't tethered together, they were more like bangles for each arm rather than actual handcuffs. She stood her trial with the council as any other person would have and that is what they all decided, so it was a fair trial. I was kind of pleased with her trial results since she was Leo's only other living relative other than his daughter, but I still feel like she deserved more than a slap on the wrist. I was just hoping she would have taken responsibility for her actions by now.

The witch Jax had hired returned to Riverbound Pack where she tried to take over Blaine, but he was much more powerful than any of us had expected. She wasn't a very powerful witch by any means, but when Blaine cuffed her with my cuffs and presented her before the council for her trial, I was even surprised but also pleased. The council decided that she was to die by hanging, which made no sense why she received death while Lovett received the punishment she did. I think maybe the council members took it easier on Lovett because she was brainwashed as a child, or maybe because she was Leo's sister. I am not sure which, but either way, she basically got off the hook with her trial decision.

Blaine was doing phenomenal. He showed us all that he was more than capable of being a great Alpha, just as I knew he would. His pack adored him, and his mate Shyla was due with their firstborn child, a son, who they planned to name Helix. They come to visit often, as we also visit them fairly often. Over the years, we have become very good friends.

Then there were Laken and Skila, who also had their own children, not much younger than the twins. They had their first pregnancy, a little girl named Eyla, maybe a month after I had given birth to the twins. Skila then fell pregnant with their secondborn almost immediately after giving birth to Eyla. That pregnancy gave them a boy who they named Axel. The twins were very close to them. Wouldn't be surprised if Eyla and Rezeil were mates with how protective he acts towards her, but only time will tell.

"Mommy, Dad, Dad, come play!" Rosie yelled out, and we got off the ground and went to play tag with our twins.

I can't see a better way to spend life. Surrounded by the people you love doing the things you love. I was beyond pleased with my life, and I couldn't imagine it being spent any other way. I was the Goddess of all, and that was a gift in itself.
