Chapter:11:- just beginning

" Mom? Dad ? What's the matter ? What can't I come with you? Do you forget my birthday is in the next 5 days? When will you both return.?"- Kathiss whined like a child throwing questions to her parents .

Her mother alina pulled her to the sofa and caressed her back with a soft voice she explained.

" Something happened . Our presence was required somewhere . Please try to understand us ok baby. Buzz ( her brother ) will be with you right "

" Mom, do you think I will believe you .? Something happened but we have no relatives and you are house wife . Dad is working as secretary under some ceo and what there will be problem that you both should solve .? Does that place not have a name or something? "- Kathiss asked frustratedly .

She is angry so angry and frustrated . The fact is she cant seem to be like a normal person these days . Her mind is going crazy always Earl .. Earl .. Earl why the fuck always about him she is even thinking.

Crazy isn't she .

Her father Steve couldn't take it and asked in worry .

" Kathiss baby are you ok .? You seem pale and weak .? Should we go to the hospital .?"- Kathiss denied .

" Papa You will come back soon, right .? Let's celebrate my birthday . I'm turning 18 na . Please come back quickly . alright ."- She hugged him . Steve closed his eyes in sadness .

The place in the hills was dangerous . He didn't know if they would make it or not but he had to do this or else his whole life of struggle would be wasted .

" My sweety . Be a good girl . We will return as soon as possible ok . I will celebrate your birthday grandly only 4 ous us ok . I promise "- He forwarded his Lil finger forward .

Kathiss believed in this pinky promise from childhood .

" Pinky promise then you can't break it "- Her father nodded and kissed her forehead .

" Enough now . Stop will you? By any chance are you afraid that i will bully you "- Her brother flipped her forehead with his finger .

" Ouch you giant man . How dare you bully me . Papa see he is bullying me in front of you "- Kathiss started to play her innocent girl Card .

" Buzz don't bully my baby "- Steve gave a not-so stern gaze to Buzz for which Buzz just showed his tongue to Kathiss .

Aish this crazy kid .

" Fine fine now let's have dinner . I already prepared some curries for you and kept in refrigerator . You both should reheat and have it . Buzz don't let Kathiss enter kitchen . I don't want it to be burst . My previous kitchen "- Alina said .

" Mom "- Whined Kathiss . She is so poor at cooking . So she is not allowed into the kitchen .

" Ok then we will be leaving early in the morning . Make Sure to wake your sister early and make her eat breakfast , drop her in school safely. Understood "- Steve ordered to buzz .

" Papa I'm not kid you know "- Kathiss said shaking her head in disbelief .

" I know dad "- That's what buzz replies . They went back to their respective rooms .

*Alina & Steve room *

" Alina, are you sure right? Can't you stay with kids .?"- Steve asked, hoping to change his wife's decision .

" We can't go back, you know right .?"- alina nodded and hugged him

" Let's do it for our Kathiss . We can't just sit and watch them reaching us right "- Steve nodded.

They slept for few hours and woke up . Alina cooked breakfast for kids . After getting fresh up . She kissed both of her kids forehead and they started their journey before spelling some magic to house . There is a red line like a threat around the house no one can see it until they are witches , werewolf or vampires . It's for safety . No other creatures can enter their house except humans .

It's for Buzz and Kathiss safety .

Kathiss was woken up late that morning by her brother's scolding .

" This girl . I swear Kathiss' bucket full of water will be on you if i don't see you at the dining table for next 5 mins "- That's when she woke up with a jerk .

She cursed his brother . Her parents are also not there to scold him .

Done with bath and brush . She wore a jumpsuit with fur sweater and ran downstairs to see her brother typing something on the phone .

" I'm here "- She sat in front of him . Her brother served her breakfast . She immediately started eating .

He poured a glass of milk for her .

Oh no ..

She widened her eyes by seeing the milk . Anyhow she managed to escape from that milk daily but today she had to drink it .

" We don't have forever time . Quickly drink milk "- Her brother said . He ate his own breakfast .

Kathiss frowned, seeing the milk like it was her sworn enemy .

" Kathiss time is already up . We will be late for your college "- her brother reminds her again .

" Don't I have any other choice?"- She asked expecting her brother to excuse her .

" No way . Drink it or else we are not going anywhere "- Kathiss gritted her teeth and drank it quickly by closing her nose and mouth .

" Good . Now let's go "- He grabbed her backpack and pulled her out .

" I hate you "- She said while getting out of the car . As they reached the college .

" Sorry baby sis . It's good for health alright . I love you so much . Umha "- he said and zoomed away while she smiled and went inside .

She made her way towards her class in a hurry . It's already 3 mins late . She couldn't imagine her professor punishing her.

She took a deep breath and knocked the door before peeking inside to see . Her professor is eyeing her with his eyebrow raised .

" So sorry sir . I won't be late again "- She lowered her head .

" You better be . Come inside"- he said . She quickly went inside and sat in one of the seats which was available .

She could feel a strong glare on her but didn't dare to see who it was.

Somehow her heart knows it's someone she is longing to see . She doesn't want to take a risk .

Stop thinking about him . Ugh . She holds her head tiredly .

First class ended . She laid her head on the desk for a small nap .

" Bitch why are you late .?"- Jenny came to her and asked angrily .

" I woke up late . What's the matter? You look angry .?"

" I have something to say . Hold your seat tight "- Kathiss shrugged her shoulder and urged her to say .

" I found my mate "- Jenny chipped like a bird giggling .

" Is he your boyfriend.?"Kathiss asked as she remembered her mentioning him .

Not " - Kathiss gasped as newly found information is so interesting now .

" Don't tell me he is ….."- Kathiss gulped by recalling the day when first encounter with Earl and his friend growled like an animal when Jenny said she had a boyfriend .

" Yes he is "- Jenny sighed tiredly.

" Then did you break up with your boyfriend.?"- Kathiss asked innocently.

She is thinking that mates are someone who are destined to meet , marry and live together . Her mind is totally out of werewolf world .

" I Did . It's hard for us but Dustin is way too hot to be ignore "- Jenny said showing a dreamy expression .

" Dustin .? Who .?" -asked Kathiss confusedly.

" Oh yeah okk "- Kathiss replied .

Soon the teacher came and they resumed the class . Rest of the day passed like air . Kathiss pulled herself together not to turn around to meet with green eyes which are burning holes in her back .

She is damn sure it's him . But how .? No particular reason but she knows he is here .

After school bidding goodbye to Jenny she ran to gate where her brother is waiting for her . She quickly hopped the car and sat inside like a scared cat . Her brother astonished by her sudden obedient behaviour. Her parents would appreciate to know her new change . He thought and hoped in car before zooming off from school .

Those green eyes Watching her every move from morning to evening . His heart ripped away .

She didn't see him for once .

He wants it right but why his heart is pained for being ignored by her .

He yearned to see her chocolate brown eyes . He wanted to touch her and pull her into a hug and never let her go .

Echo is going crazy with his control by unknown feelings .

It's just a few days back he got to know that she is his mate but soon like fate twisted he destined to be cursed no he choose this way .

He can't see her sacrificing her life for him . He can love her from far . He wants her to be alive and live happily with someone who cherishes her .. but why the feeling of her with someone is breaking his heart .

" Dustin I'm going to the woods "- Earl declaring echo took control over him and ran into the woods like a hungry hunter . He can't risk being caught by other creatures on the earth . It's too risky if they found alpha on earth . Because they think he is a threat to humans .
