Chapter 91 Chapter 91: You Are Awake?
ARIANNA'S POV

The woman twitched on the floor, blood spilling out of her mouth as my wolf snarled at her.

I had no idea my wolf was…blood thirsty like this.

I shifted back, collapsing onto the floor. Tiny prickles of dirt bit into my skin as I tried to stand up.

I staggered to my feet, the tatters of my clothes falling off my skin.

I couldn't go out to the tower top naked; that meant I had to do something I didn't think I would do.

I zipped up the she-wolf's jacket, the material fitting snug against my limbs.

I gathered the materials that were thrown on the floor into my arms, limping out of the main palace.

I rang the bell with all the strength I could summon, the rope biting into my hand.

I took a peep over the tower, the rogue wolves climbing on top each other to get to where I was.

Blowing out a haggard breath, I got to work.

My hands shook as I got to the final stage of the bomb I was making, my vision winking in and out of consciousness.

A threatening growl came from the edge of the tower bell, my heart beat speeding up as I rushed through what I was doing in.

More of them came spilling into the tower as I pushed to my feet, my hand clutching at my side.

Just before I could get to the main palace I felt a hard tug at my leg before I fell to the ground.

I tried to free myself despite my fading vision but the grip of the wolf’s teeth of the pants I had on was strong.

The wolf tugged harder, causing my head to smack into the ground.

The last thing I saw before I lost consciousness was a pair of red orbs peering down at me.

Something dripping on my face face startled me awake, my eyes flickering open.

The ceiling was made with pure iron, indicating I was in an uncompleted building of some sort.

I tried standing up when I noticed I was tied to a slab.

“You are awake” My hands paused from my efforts to free myself, my eyes swinging to the man who stepped into the space where I was tied.

“Why did you abduct me?” I asked, my brows snapping together as I analyzed the mask he was wearing.

“For the greater good. You bear just what we need” He uttered stepping closer to me.

“Don't you dare-” A smack to my face had my head swinging to a side, the sting rendering me disoriented for a while.

I felt his finger trace my forehead as he let out a soft gasp.

“There it is, he would be so glad” He muttered under his breath, his voice thickening.

The discovery I made before I had gone to the palace flashed across my mind then.

It was him, wasn't it? “Why would you betray him like this?” I questioned, baiting him.

There was only way I could confirm my suspicion. I hadn't talked that much with him to recognize his voice on hand.

“I betrayed no one, if anything he did!” He shot at me, his movement erratic.

I swallowed, keeping quiet for a while as his hand pulled out a knife from his jacket.

“You know I tried to wait, b-but- he just didn't seem to see it” he blurted out, his hands shaking.

“He said he wasy busy with work then he shows up with you!” He spat out, bringing the knife closer to my neck.

I knew it; it was Kasper, the Beta who had driven us to the palace in the East.

In the document Alex had sent to me, it stated that Lyra was his cousin.

But now he mentioned an ‘He’ who would be happy with something I possessed.

Was he per chance working with Radiel? He yanked my head back with my hair, the cold knife pressing into my neck.

“I could easily kill you now and he would forget all about you” He muttered, his tone filled with excitement.

Could it be…he had a crush on Lucien? “E-even if you killed me, that wouldn't guarantee him look your way” I stuttered out as he pressed the knife deeper against my neck.

I squeezed my eyes shut, praying to the moon goddess that I make it out of here alive.

A echo from my bond with Lucien reached me,making me flash my eyes opened.

Lucien! Can you hear me?! I projected towards him, wondering why I hadn't done this in the first place.

Kasper withdrew the knife from my neck, making me exhale shakily with relief.

“I don't to hear you speak” he muttered, his hand fisting his hair as he picked up a syringe from the chair beside the slab I was on.

My eyes went wider, my body struggling to get free as he brought the syringe close to me.

“This would make you shut up” He stabbed the syringe into my thigh, earning a scream from me.

Pain bloomed in my thigh as my body started to feel numb.

He retrieved the syringe from my thigh, a chuckle falling from his lips.

“I can't wait for him to start the ritual with you, it would be so fun to watch” he walked away, slamming the door to where I was shut.

I tried to stay strong, but as seconds ticked into minutes then hours I started to break.

I could no longer feel the bond in my mind, hell, I couldn't feel anything.

A loud bang had my eyes rolling within their sockets, trying to see what was going on.

Sweetheart, where are you?! Lucien's voice boomed crystal clear within my mind.

My eyes clouded over with tears; he was here.

I-I don't know where exactly I am but it has a iron door and roof. Kasper is-

I was interrupted by the door slamming open, Kasper striding in.

He had discarded his mask, his eyes tinged with anger as his hands worked on the ropes on me.

“I would make sure he doesn't save you”
