Chapter Forty Three - Furthering Their Education In Ukraine.
"Cole, it's been a while. Howdy howdy!" George hails him. "Where have you been? How are you?"
"Let the dude respond. Seems he doesn't have ears anymore." Kellie suggests.
"George!!!! George!!! George!!" Cole yells at him. "George, you traitor!!"
"How, Cole?" George deadpans.
"Who's it, please? Who's Cole?" Kellie seems confused.
"He's Kelvin. This is his human body." George explains.
"Don't worry!" Cole yells, with quavering lips. "You dare take off your demon power without telling me! You have made me a weakling!! You! I'll pursue you wherever you go!!!"
Then, he disappears and wanes in thin air.
"Leave him alone. Don't think about it. Moon goddess herself took the power away from us as we wouldn't need it anymore. She herself would be our guide." George tells Kellie.
"You don't have to be afraid of him. Don't think about it. Lets think about how to move on with life instead." George adds.
"Alright. Let's put that behind us now." Kellie replies. "I hope all the requirements given to mum and Dad have been met."
"Not sure." George replies. "Maybe we gotta head downstairs?"
"Nope!" Kellie says. "Let's tuck ourselves in our pillows and doze off. By 5pm, I'll stand up and ask mum if she's bought our foodstuff."
"Sleeping baby." George chuckles.
"That's not it." Kellie chuckles as well. "Well, maybe, I am."
Then, there's another knock on the door. It's Kimberly knocking on the door.
"Kellie, can you hear me?" She calls out, still at the doorstep. "We need some information from you. What you would need in school. I'm going to the supermarket now."
"Okay mum." Kellie replies and springs up from the bed as she opens the door. George pretends to be sleeping and he slightly snores.
"George is fast asleep." Kimberly remarks. "Come with me, let's get to know your mind. You should be able to pick for George too."
"Do you mean I should follow you downstairs? Or to the supermarket?"
"No. Just downstairs."
"Alrighty." Kellie replies. "I'll be right there with you. I wanna take a pen, a paper and some other stuff. I'll join you soon."
"Make sure you join me soon."
Kimberly saunters down the stairs and goes to meet Charles while Kellie creeps inside the room and locks it as she leans her back in it. This can be called her ritual. She does it almost every time she enters her room.
"George…" she whispers. "... come on, get up. Don't whine me." She says in a local dialect.
"Hey Kellie. Thanks for not letting her know I'm up." George chuckles, and sits up in bed.
"Well, should we go meet her together?" She says."It's 4pm now. She would be going to the supermarket before 5pm so she seriously needs me downstairs."
"I shouldn't follow you. Let me just tell you what I need, what I might need, lol!"
"You're not smart enough." Kellie replies. "If I tell her this or you eventually write it on a sheet of paper, and you give it to me, and I give it to her. Would I say your ghost wrote it?"
"Of course not. She would know you woke me up."
"Then your purpose of pretending to be asleep would come to nought."
"Well…" George replies. "... I'll just tell you the names. Get me Tea, Milk, Cornflakes, Jumpsuit, T-shirt, Shorts, Hoodies…"
"Enough!" Kellie chuckles.
"Oh! Let me stop so I won't dig a big hole in your parent's money." George replies.
"Oh no. This is not a good thing. You're coming to it again. Let's be playful. Be jovial! Did I ever say that ever since we concluded the hot argument?"
"No, you never did." George replies, and smirks.
"Why the sudden change of emotion?" Kellie smirks as well, as George winks at her, his machine rising and him pointing to her blossoms and hole caught in between her laps.
"Don't be dirty. Kelvin called us dirty sluts." Kellie pouts her lips. "I'll make sure we do this as often as we can when we reach high school."
"Thank you for that. I can't wait for tomorrow to come. So we would go together and have sex all day along. Oh my gosh, that would be so awesome."
A tongue clicks behind the wardrobes
"What was that?" George smells rat but Kellie doesn't.
"What?" Kellie retorts, asking and giving him a sheet of paper. "Here, write whatever you might need. Mum doesn't have less than $234000 in her bank account. Last time I checked, it was $234680. Although overall. She has multiple accounts."
George sighs.
"Okay, I'm sorry." Kellie apologizes. "Only that I'm trying to let you know we are not broke and what mum wants to buy for us can't exceed ten thousand bucks. If you have ten million dollars, why do you think it doesn't have any meaning to you if $10000 goes out?"
"But you said $234680 and not $ten million." George corrects.
"I know. I was just saying."
"She uses the Us bank account?" George asks. "Been wondering why you spend in dollars."
"Um, yeah. We are from USA. We mainly purchase goods from the US Cargo, so we pay in dollars. Though she earns in pounds only because we are here in UK, she converts it to dollars. Almost same equivalence."
"I see. Festus sold his pack at $50000. What do you see to that too?"
"They didn't transact any money. Did they?
He only gave her the control since he's unable to pay her. Festus is from California as his face suggest so he spends Canadian dollars, that's what he would have said. He couldn't have said 40000 pounds. Nope."
"Back to base, I only need items not more than $3500." George mutters
"Even if it's $13500. I suppose you write a lot of items since mum won't give more than $2000 as extra money."
"Oh!" George chuckles. "Extra money as well? Oh I see that you're damn rich."
"Not damn rich. Just average."
"That's why you don't have a dishwasher, lol."
"Kellie!"
"Pardon?"
"That is why you use you bare hands to wash plates. I can see you're very rich." George chuckles.
Kellie pouts her lips. "Are you trying to say it's all lies?"
"Maybe. Maybe not." George replies.
"Kellie!"
"Your mum needs you downstairs! She's called you twice. Been wondering if you heard or not."
"Tell me - did it look like a lie or something framed up? I'll go meet mom now but please tell me that."
"It's not a lie, dear." George pecks her chin and she springs up from bed
"What a moist ass." George comments.
"That's rude, George." Kellie hisses as she jerks the door open.
"I hope the Ukrainian currency is worth it. That's another thing to consider."
"All the best." Kellie says, standing half way between the room and outside.
"Won't you take the paper with you?" George stretches the paper to her.
"No. " She clips. "No. No. No. I know them offhand. Being absent in school doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to recall words."
"I didn't mean that though." George says.
"Kellie!! I'm waiting! Duh!"
"I'm coming, mum!" Kellie yells in return.
"All the best, George." Kellie says, and shuts the door as she heads downstairs. As she runs, she suddenly starts to move slowly and slowly. She tries to recall all what George has written on the sheet of paper. She mutters as she slowly climbs down the stairs.
"Where have you been?" Kimberly yells at her. "Come on, hop in the car. Fuck."
"Why cussing? I was only thinking of what I needed."
"I hope you asked what George needs as well." Kimberly retorts. Kellie becomes confused, not really knowing her mother's intention of asking that. If she says yes, she would know she woke him up and disturbed him. And if she says no, kimb might call her a dunce and bark at her to go ask. The word yes and no loads ans reloads in her head and she concludes to say any one that comes out first
"Um, yes!"
"What took you long to respond?"
"Nothing, mum."
"Now, hop into the car. I'll meet you right away."
"Can I tell George I'm leaving?"
"Doesn't he know?"
"He doesn't."
"Don't worry. I'll call him."
She says and they both move out of the sitting room as they enter the car. The security wolves open the gate and Kimberly drives out.
"This is London's wilderness. How do you get those stuff you wanna buy?" Kellie asks, wearing the seat belt.
"There's a way across there. Once you get there, you zoom fast and head towards the main road. The nearest road there."
"But you've never told me this."
"I didn't see it as necessary." Kimberly retorts as she drives into the main street.
"You follow me in and tell me ALL you need. All! I won't be able to buy you another stuff once you're gone."
"Yes mum."
"But, mum…" Kellie asks. "... I notice I've been safe for three days now. No getting lost. What do you think?
"I think the moon goddess paused that." Kimberly says. "A gamma told me yesterday. I forgot to tell you. You'll get lost at 5pm tomorrow. I tricked him to get the time zone since he didn't want me to know, he feared his life."
"What if I was still on the road to Ukraine?"
"Ukraines 10 hours to get there. To avoid 5pm getting lost, take off at 5am tomorrow morning. I've booked a flight for both of you, and other necessary things have been done by Charles. And make sure you find the object the moon goddess talked about, okay?"
"Taken, mum."
