Chapter 11 : Hotness in the air

Meanwhile, Akanksha asked Anu during tiffin break, “Why are you so quiet today? Is everything okay?”

Anu said, “Yes everything is fine.”

“What hot activity happened yesterday after I left?”, asked Akanksha mischievously.

Anu was already a bit disturbed about yesterday’s matter. And when Akanksha asked about that, she felt annoyed and awkward.

“No nothing happened. I went home.”, Anu said a little loudly with annoyance.

“Ah I guess it’s not the right thing to ask. Sorry.”, Akanksha said playfully and started to leave.

Seeing Akanksha leaving, Anu interrupts her and says, “I.. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have told you like that.”

Akanksha heard everything from Rohan so wanted to verify it herself. Akanksha said to Anu, “Hey ok. Your mood might be off. I didn’t mind. Well, to lighten your mood, tomorrow is our fresher party. Do you remember? When will you come?”

“I will come quickly. You?”, said Anu.

“So am I.”, said Akanksha.

Akanksha started thinking herself, “The big game will be played tomorrow. How can I be late tomorrow! Haha, we will see how you and Tani are handle the situation tomorrow. Ugh, I am happy just thinking about it. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow! Bro you are a genius.”

Akash, Tani, Sayani, Rishita were in the same college ground. They are sitting in a circle and planning for tomorrow. Tani is leading the plan.

“Am I clear to everyone?”, Tani said sitting on the college backyard.

“Yes.”, everyone answered in unison.

“Ok, Akash, you will get everything ready beforehand, and if you think there is a big mess, you will immediately call the police. We can’t let Anu be in any danger.”, Tani told Akash and everyone.

“So, are we ready for this mission?”, Tani asked everyone.

“Yes we are.”, said everyone.

Tani said, “Put your hands on my hand and say again, Are we ready for this mission?”

“Yes we are.”, said everyone in unison.

Akanksha calls Anu to confirm whether Anu is coming to the party or not?

“Where are you? Coming na??”, Akanksha asked on the other side of the call.

“Yes I am coming, I am leaving now. Bye see you soon.”, Anu replied to Akanksha over the phone and hung up.

Anu’s mother called from behind while Anu was going to open the main door, “Is Tani going with you?”

“Yes she is.”, Anu lied to her mother.

“Well, go carefully and come back soon with Tani okay?”, said her mother. Anu nodded and left.

05. 30 PM

“Sayani where are you? Please come quickly we have to fix our position.”, Anu said to Sayani over the phone.

“Yes I’m coming, hey I’m stuck in traffic. It’ll take 10 minutes more.”, Sayani replied.

“Okay. I’m talking to the rest, you come carefully.”, Tani said.

“Tani, Tani..”, Rishita called Tani from behind, accompanied by Akash.

“Yes, say.”, she said putting the phone in her pocket.

Akash told Tani, “I have asked some of my friends to come, if extra protection is needed, they can help.”

“Wow very good. Ok then remember what was the plan? I will be in the center of the hall, Rishita will be near the back door. Sayani will be near the refreshment section, and you Akash?”

“Yes, near the entrance. But there was one thing, when my friends come, I have to go and get them. Just manage that time.”, Akash said.

Then the girl slowly got out of the car. The girl is wearing a knee-length red short western dress, a purse in one hand, sunglasses in her eyes, earrings in her ears, a bracelet in her hand. The girl has straight back-length hair. The girl closed the car door and stood in front of the car. Yes you guessed it right, the girl is none other than Anushka.

Tani could not believe her eyes, who she was seeing for so long! She couldn’t take her eyes off from Anu’s beauty. Not only Tani, Ishita and Akash are also staring at Anu with open mouths.

Akanksha called Anu from the other side, “Come on, let’s go. The party is waiting.”

Anu walked towards the gate with a smile. Tani and the rest looked at Anu with wide eyes.

Meanwhile, another car stopped. It’s Sayani. She hurriedly paid the cab fare and went to Tani and said, “Sorry, sorry, what can I say, today had so much traffic. Hey, what’s wrong, did I miss something! What are you all looking at over there?”

“No one is listening, since when am I calling you?”, Sayani chirped in front of everyone.

Rishita said, “Looking like Queen of Hotness.”

Tani regained her senses to Sayani’s loud laugh. She can’t believe her own eyes that she is seeing this completely different version of Anu!

Sayani asked Tani, “What’s going on here?”

“Stunningly beautiful”, replied Tani.

“Oh thank you.”, Sayani shyly thanked Tani. She is still under the spell of beauty.

Rishita said, “Oh, you weak-minded woman, she didn’t tell you.”

“What the hell, you are insulting me on my face?”, Sayani told Rishita.

“You also did that, you forgot that?”, Rishita replied.

“Areh shut up.. Okay enough we need to focus on our plan.”, Tani said.

“Let’s go. They went inside.”, Rishita said.

“Who’s gone?”, Sayani asked curiously.

“Hey stupid, Anushka has come with Akanksha. Come more late then we will see everything who has gone and who has come!”, Rishita told Sayani.

“Oh please will you shut up? They are gone now we have to go inside too. Akash you stay here and keep an eye on the surroundings, and let me know if your friends come.”, Tani said. Akash nodded.

“Okay let’s go, let’s go.”, saying Tani, Rishita and Sayani went inside the hall.
