Chapter 121 You're Not My Boyfriend

Isabella and Alexander were all lovey-dovey, making Jasmine super jealous.

Jasmine propped her chin on her hands and muttered, "When am I gonna find my Mr. Perfect like Mr. Brown and have a sweet romance?"

Just as she finished, a deep, magnetic voice came from behind. "If you want, you can have it right now."

Jasmine jumped and spun around to see Clemens' handsome face. His hands were in his pockets, and he had this roguish smile with a teasing glint in his deep blue eyes.

"Clemens? What are you doing here?" Jasmine asked, totally surprised.

"Just passing by and heard a beautiful lady wishing for love," Clemens raised an eyebrow, his tone playful.

Jasmine's cheeks turned a bit pink, and she rolled her eyes at him. "Stop messing around. You know I was just talking."

"But I'm dead serious," Clemens' smile faded as he stepped closer, his deep blue eyes locking onto hers. "Will you marry me? I promise I'll make you happy for the rest of your life."

Jasmine's heart started racing, and she instinctively took a step back, trying to keep her voice steady. "We've only known each other for a few days."

"Time doesn't matter; it's the feeling that counts," Clemens said earnestly, his deep blue eyes full of sincerity.

Jasmine's heart skipped a beat. Clemens' gaze was too intense for her to handle.

She quickly looked away, not daring to meet his eyes, and stammered, "I... I have something to do. I gotta go."

With that, Jasmine ran off, leaving Clemens standing there, watching her flustered figure with a meaningful smile.

Isaac, who had just arrived, saw the whole thing. His face turned pale, and his fists clenched as a nameless fire burned in his chest.

He strode over to Jasmine, grabbed her wrist, and coldly demanded, "Who is he?"

Jasmine frowned in pain, shook off Isaac's hand forcefully, and snapped, "None of your business!"

"You..." Isaac was taken aback by Jasmine's reaction and, in a moment of anger, said, "Jasmine, are you seeing other guys behind my back?"

"What's wrong with you? Isaac, get this straight, you're not my boyfriend." Jasmine retorted without backing down.

With that, she turned and left. Isaac paused for a moment, then suddenly realized that he really shouldn't be angry.

After Alexander's proposal, Isabella and Alexander walked slowly along the beach.

The sea breeze gently lifted the strands of hair on Isabella's forehead, and she couldn't help but sneeze.

"What's wrong? Are you catching a cold?" Alexander stopped and asked with concern, placing his hand on Isabella's forehead to check her temperature.

Isabella shook her head, rubbed her nose, and said in a soft, coquettish voice, "No, it's just that the wind is a bit strong and it's a bit cold."

Seeing Isabella's cheeks flushed from the wind, Alexander felt a bit heartbroken as he pulled her into his arms, his tone filled with indulgence. "Why didn't you say you were cold? Let's go back to the hotel first, and you can put on some more clothes to avoid catching a cold."

"Okay!" Isabella nodded obediently, snuggling into Alexander's embrace like a kitten.

Back in the hotel room, Isabella turned on the TV, and a news report caught her attention: "Due to the influence of the outer circulation of this year's typhoon, it is expected that in the next 24 hours, there will be strong winds and rain in the city, with some areas experiencing thunderstorms..."

Isabella watched the TV screen, frowning slightly. She turned to Alexander and said worriedly, "Alexander, looks like a typhoon's coming."

Alexander walked over, glanced at the news, and after a moment, said, "For safety's sake, we should head back early."

"Okay, okay!" Isabella nodded eagerly. She'd been feeling a bit homesick, and staying out during a typhoon seemed like a bad idea.

"Then you pack up your things, and I'll go find Jasmine to see if she wants to come back with us," Alexander said softly, ruffling Isabella's hair.

"Okay!" Isabella smiled sweetly and started packing her luggage as Alexander left.

Alexander went to Jasmine's room and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Jasmine's muffled voice came from inside.

"It's me, Alexander."

Jasmine opened the door, her face expressionless.

"I came to tell you that the weather forecast says a typhoon is coming. We're planning to head back early. Do you want to come with us?" Alexander said straightforwardly.

Jasmine paused for a moment, then quickly realized that Alexander was planning to take Isabella away.

Thinking of this, a wave of bitterness surged in her heart, but she quickly suppressed it.

"Okay, I'll go back with you," Jasmine said calmly. She just wanted to leave this heart-wrenching place as soon as possible.

"Then pack your things, and we'll meet in the lobby in a bit," Alexander said before turning to leave.

Jasmine closed the door, took a deep breath, and held back her tears as she started packing her luggage.

An hour later, Alexander, Isabella, and Jasmine met in the hotel lobby.

"Alexander, when are we leaving?" Isabella asked.

"I've arranged for a private jet. We can leave now," Alexander said with a gentle smile, reaching out to tidy Isabella's wind-blown hair.

"A private jet! Alexander, you're the best!" Isabella said happily, hugging Alexander's arm, her eyes sparkling.

Alexander dotingly tapped Isabella's nose and then turned to Jasmine. "Let's go."

Jasmine nodded and followed them out of the hotel.

The private jet flew smoothly above the clouds, and Isabella curiously leaned against the window.

Alexander sat beside her, his long fingers gently caressing the wine glass in his hand, his deep gaze fixed on Isabella, an unnoticeable doting smile on his lips.

"Alexander, do you think there are angels in the sky?" Isabella turned her head, her eyes filled with curiosity.

"Why do you ask that?" Alexander put down his wine glass and looked at her with interest.

"I was just asking," Isabella said playfully, a faint blush on her cheeks.

Seeing her cute and playful demeanor, Alexander's heart softened, and he couldn't help but pinch her little nose, his tone indulgent. "You little rascal."

Isabella pouted, looking like a kitten whose tail had been stepped on. "Alexander, you're bullying me again!"

Alexander couldn't help but laugh at her puffed-up cheeks. As he laughed, his gaze fell on Isabella's slender fingers, which were bare, without the diamond ring he had given her.

"Why aren't you wearing the ring?" Alexander's tone was unreadable.

Isabella paused for a moment, instinctively pulling her hand back while whispering, "I was afraid of losing it."
