Chapter 41
As I went downstairs in my nightgown, I still wondered how I had woken up in bed. It was a strange feeling, not knowing what I would find down there. I couldn't let the wind touch us the way it had with Edgar, just as I couldn't stop dreading seeing him again. Looking at Aron shirtless in front of the stove, singing a song while swaying his hips without caring if he was losing his masculinity, pushed away my thoughts about whether what I felt was love, or just a corrosive dependency fueled by the fear of being alone, insecure and unprotected. I couldn't live a hellish Lupu over all the times I saw his darkness predominate, revealing all the fears that inhabit me.
I wish my only doubt at this moment was about whether I'd prefer one or two pieces of toast, but it's still about why the decision to live by your side isn't the only feeling that predominates, making me feel that I only love you. That I made a sensible decision as a woman who chose to be by a man's side because she loves him. But love is like that: you never know what it's going to bring you.
Aron looked at me in an uncomfortable way because he was stripped of his rudeness, smiling embarrassedly at me as if love had made him soft, had softened everything that was insane and rude about him.
''I knew you looked very sexy cooking for me, I guess that wasn't in my catalog of plans for post-relationship life.'' I told him, smiling as my hands wrapped around him.
"It's sexy to see you walking down the stairs so confidently in your sweater... Aron replied, turning to hug me.
Walking over to the sink to get a cup of black coffee, I felt his eyes on me, and in a daring way he hugged me from behind, kissing my neck and letting me feel his erection.
"I'm sure you look even sexier without that sweater. Aron said, dropping the nightgown he was wearing to the floor, naked in front of him I couldn't say I wasn't embarrassed in a way.
"Are you saying that you want me to be your breakfast?" I said, smiling as my hands slid down my breasts.
Aron put aside his romantic mood as he stirred the frying pan, looking at me with thirsty eyes as if he wanted me more than anything. In a rough way, he pulled my hair with his hands, tangling them underneath, staring at me as my sighs became gasps, I couldn't tell if it was fear, or just uncontrollable excitement at what he was going to do now. Aron turned me around so that I was on my stomach on the cold marble countertop, on all fours for him. I felt him approaching me with his hands sliding around my waist as if he were drawing my body with his palms, it was exciting all the suspense he was creating by spreading my legs apart with his feet.
Aron moved his face down and I felt his tongue penetrate me, he moved his tongue around my vagina while my hands tried to lean on something on the worktop, I needed to squeeze something to control all the excitement that was over my body. Like an electric current that made me scream for him not to stop. His finger penetrated my lubrication, I begged in whispers for him to penetrate me soon, to feel him pulling my face away from the bench as he pulled my hair. My whole body craved his touch, while the war inside me fell silent, giving way to the certainty that I couldn't live without Aron's warmth.
Aron penetrated me, pulling my hips close to him in a strong way as he crashed into my body, penetrating me at once without any difficulty due to the flood he had caused me. I could feel his face becoming rough with his countenance of excitement as I felt my hips thrust harder and harder against him. With each thrust, my desire to roll over became more and more euphoric as I felt him. As if I needed him as much as he needed me, his hands squeezed me while my nails dug into the marble.
Aron turned me around, admiring my sweaty, disheveled face, and sat me down on the worktop, feeling his cold as my hips moved to meet his erection. I'd never had such a naughty, confident look on my face as I squeezed my breasts in excitement at the sight of our bodies meeting. It sounded so passionate how possessively he searched for my body, needing to feel every part of it with his fingertips, the way that when I felt him finish, Aron would pull me against his body in a sweaty sweat and hold me close, whispering how incredible it was that we were on fire in the midst of sex I felt the desire to start all over again, to see his body crashing into mine.
Aron, even after sex, was fulfilling the biggest fantasy he had with Edgar, that the sex wouldn't end with both of them turning their backs and picking up their cell phones. With Aron, the excitement predominated as his satisfied eyes looked at me while my hands roamed his back, his presence was there, all in me still. Until the smell of burning eggs in the frying pan on the stove made us break into laughter.
You can feel the butterflies in your stomach even after you've buried them inside yourself with an unfaithful fiancé. The problem is that bad relationships are easier to forget, and before the truth came out, it was perfect with Edgar.
Picking up my sweater from the floor, I covered my body again, still trying to control my breathing. Aron's cell phone was vibrating insistently on the counter, but he just ignored the insistence on the other end of the line. Afraid of getting bad news? Or just a vacation from the mob? But in the back of my mind I remembered Jason once again, the fear that he had been the victim lodged itself, how could that feeling inhabit me if he had sold me out to the head of the German mafia?
"I don't want to spoil the moment we've just had... but now I'm part of your life and I need to ask you... do you know anything about Jason?" After much insistence, I had to ask, silencing the voices in my head.
"No... still no news about Tommaso either." Aron said rudely.
"I'm sorry I asked..."
"No Laura, you're right... He's part of my life now. Can you wait for me outside?" Aron said with a tone that aroused my curiosity.
"All right!"
Walking shakily outside, I wondered why Aron had pushed me away before telling me what he wanted, after all, his eyes showed that he needed space. Sitting by the pool, I waited for the first battle we would have to win.
