Chapter 320 Meet Again
Ann subconsciously reached out to protect those little guys in her arms and wanted to call for help.
Another figure appeared, leaving behind a faint amber fragrance.
Not long after, Ann saw a tall woman step on the man who robbed her bag. The woman's movements were quick. It was obvious that she had practiced martial arts.
Soon, a security guard came over to take away the robber. The woman turned around, and only then did Ann see her face clearly.
The woman had short hair and delicate facial features. She wore a simple casual suit jacket. Her appearance and her clothes indicated that she was a smart and capable woman. She was charming.
The woman handed the bag to Ann and sized her up. There was a flash of surprise in the woman's eyes, and then a bright smile touched her lips.
"There are many people here. It is not safe for a pretty woman who even takes her children to stay here. You have to be careful!"
Ann hurriedly took the bag and thanked the woman. Ann was just about to ask for a contact number and wanted to treat the woman to a meal. Yet, the woman seemed to see someone and walked away soon.
Phillip had just bought the tickets. Perhaps he had also heard the discussions of the crowd, so he rushed over with a gloomy face and sized up Ann.
"Are you alright?"
Ann retracted her gaze and shook her head. "I just had a kind-hearted woman's help. The children and I are fine."
After a pause, Ann felt a little regretful. "Unfortunately, before I could thank her, she left."
Phillip confirmed that Ann and the children were fine before his tightly knitted brows relaxed.
"It doesn't matter. If we meet her again, it won't be too late to thank her."
Ann nodded. She couldn't help but praise when she thought of the woman's good martial skills just now.
"You didn't see it just now. The one who saved us was a girl who didn't look much older than me. When she caught the robber, she was extremely agile and decisive. Yes, she was handsome!"
That kind of girl, no matter if it was a man or a woman, would be especially popular.
"Super handsome!" Nikki also agreed in a soft voice.
Carson and Carson frowned, feeling that the woman looked familiar. However, they couldn't remember where they had seen her before.
Phillip bent down, picked up Nikki, and pinched her face.
"You said before that I was the most handsome in your eyes and that everyone else couldn't compare to me. Did you change your mind so quickly?"
Nikki was confused and a little aggrieved. She wondered when she had said such a thing.
Ann met Phillip's teasing gaze and turned slightly red. She wandered her gaze around.
Then, Ann noticed that Phillip was holding a big bag in his other hand. Besides the entrance tickets to the amusement park, there was also a big bag.
"What is this?" Ann asked curiously.
Ann opened the bag and saw the items inside, feeling stunned.
Ann looked up and saw the embarrassment on Phillip's face. She couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Ann reached out and poked Phillip in the chest. "No wonder I always felt that you were a little unhappy when I went out this morning. So was it because I didn't prepare any parent-child clothes for you?"
The few little guys heard the words and looked up at Phillip.
Phillip's cold face was a little awkward. He turned his head and did not speak.
In the end, Ann held back her laughter and brought the children to an empty restroom where she changed into the parent-child outfit that Phillip had bought at the entrance of the amusement park.
The outfit was not well-made. It was a pure colored T-shirt with colored words printed on the back. It read "mother" "father" "baby".
When Phillip and Ann brought the children in, the short-haired woman who had helped Ann just now came out in a hurry.
However, when she left, the woman stopped and turned to look at the backs of the family who had just walked in. She frowned slightly.
...
Phillip and Ann spent the weekend with the children, and what awaited them was a pile of documents that had to be dealt with.
Phillip was fine because he had long been used to dealing with piles of documents.
However, it was the first time Ann had become a boss herself. In addition, the work Ann was good at was blending perfume. She had no choice but to stay in the studio all day and work overtime. She even had no time to cook lunch but asked Kelly to order a take-out.
In the afternoon, when Ann finished dealing with part of the work, she sat up straight and felt a strong soreness in her back and neck.
Ann got up and planned to go downstairs to relax, but she just saw Kelly leading a woman in.
Just like what Ann saw at the amusement park that day, the woman had short hair and delicate facial features. The difference was that the woman wore makeup today. She wore a blue velvet suit. In addition, she wore a pair of large round earrings.
The woman looked smart and handsome, with the aura of a capable office lady.
The woman seemed a little surprised when she saw Ann.
"It's you!"
"It's you!"
The two spoke at the same time, which confused Kelly.
"Ms. Ann, do you know Ms. Abbey?"
Ann shook her head and nodded.
"I met her once by accident, and she helped me catch the robber who stole my bag," Ann explained with a smile.
Kelly listened to Ann's explanation, surprised and admiring.
"Is Ms. Abbey so awesome?"
"Ms. Abbey? Hello, I'm Ann. I didn't say thanks to you that day, but I didn't expect to meet you today."
When Abbey heard Ann's name, her eyes trembled slightly. However, she still extended her hand generously.
"That's just a small matter. I'm Abbey. I didn't expect you to be the owner of this studio."
Since Ann and Abbey knew each other, Kelly directly explained the purpose of Abbey's visit to Ann.
"Ms. Abbey wants to entrust us with a custom-made perfume. I am just about to take her to see our perfumer."
The studio had just been established, and it was not a big one. Now, most of the perfumers were busy with the order of the Bafford family. Thus, Kelly was hesitating about which perfumer to take Abbey's order.
Ann nodded. "I got it. I will personally take charge of Ms. Abbey's orders."
Ann invited Abbey to her office, and Kelly habitually brought over some coffee.
Abbey just took a sip of the coffee.
The coffee was mellow.
"Ms. Ann, do you always drink coffee?"
Ann was looking at the fragrances that Abbey had told Kelly and subconsciously replied.
"I don't have much knowledge about coffee. My boyfriend likes coffee, and he brought a lot over. It would be a waste if I didn't drink it."
Phillip had stomach trouble. He could not drink coffee or cola. However, he did not like tasteless water. Ann could only ask him to drink less coffee or cola.
After reading the documents, Ann had a plan.
"Ms. Abbey, I see that you usually like to use some strong fragrances, so I won't recommend to you the fragrances of flowers and fruits. What do you think of this? The amber patchouli is elegant, and its fragrance is rich in layers. It is most suitable for a smart and neat office lady like you..."
Abbey had been observing Ann when Ann introduced the fragrances to her.
Ann had big eyes and red lips. Her facial features were delicate. When she smiled, her eyes formed a crescent curve. Her temperament was gentle and lively. She was beautiful without any offensive power. Abbey guessed that most men would probably not be able to refuse such a beautiful woman who was not aggressive.
