Chapter 125 What Will Happen To Brandon Now?
Chapter 125 What Will Happen To Brandon Now?
Sandra’s POV
I can’t believe my eyes when I see the news. “What?” I exclaim over and over again. I’ve known Brandon for such a long time now, and trust me when I say he can never do this.
I mean, Brandon appeared to love children, but he can never be involved with them in an illicit way. And definitely, something is not right.
I come from a wealthy home and know that sometimes, when strange news comes about someone, there are usually other things about the scenario that the media won’t tell us or doesn’t know about. And with regard to Brandon’s case, it is most definitely someone trying to frame him.
“But who?”
No matter how many times I ask this question, I do not seem to arrive at an answer. I mean, who would try to frame Brandon? He is a very likable person; everyone likes him, and it seems I am the only one trying to harm his family.
“Or could it be?” Alessandra comes to mind at this moment. “Could it be that the same reason I am against Alessandra is also why other people are against her, and Brandon is suffering for it?” I think, pondering that for a while.
A proverb says, “Let those who have ears hear. And those who have eyes, let them see.” If Brandon were wise, Alessandra would never have been the go-to for him. I mean, why does Brandon have ear, but he doesnt hear, eyes but he doesnt see?
Brandon and I have been together for many years, and there have never been any issues like this. But just a few months with Alessandra, and he has gotten into trouble multiple times, almost claiming his life.
First, it was his life at risk; second, it was another time at risk; and third, it is a sexual scandal that will definitely ruin his reputation. How long does he have to go before he realizes that he is not the problem? Alessandra is the problem.
This is why I must stand up for Brandon. Though I already have this motive against Alessandra, I now have another reason to fuel this hate and go against her with everything I have before she causes irreparable damage to my Brandon.
Immediately, I launch my Instagram app and scroll to the anonymous account that posted these pictures of Brandon and this girl together.
Staring at this picture closely, there is no way this picture was manipulated. It is an original picture, and yes, I see Brandon and this girl in an awkward position. But no, I know the kind of person Brandon is, and his good past has spoken for him.
I won’t be deceived by what the media says about him, and right there, I try to contact the anonymous page, but the private message button on the page has been disabled.
This behavior is strange. First, it is an account with no history that posted these images, and the private message button is disabled. This behavior is fishy and tells me loud and clear that Brandon is being framed. However, since I can tell this, many people will be able to tell this as well, but he needs evidence to prove he is innocent before he can be set free.
With this, I’d rather not trouble myself too much. Brandon will be vindicated soon by his good past and the evidence the police will soon find. But before this happens, I must ensure the source of his problem is put away for good. Alessandra must be taken down, and she must be taken down the moment Brandon is away.
Immediately, I put down my phone and headed out to town.
For the past two days, I have been researching places where I can purchase a sniper by myself and keep my identity secret. I have found two such places.
These are illegal places, yes, but that won’t stop me from getting this sniper rifle. Thus, I drive to the first place immediately, and as soon as I arrive, I walk into the store.
This store is more or less like every other store. They sell everything, and when I say everything, I mean cookies, chocolates, jams, and whatnot. They sell it all. But yes, I can tell this is camouflage. The real business is in the back.
When talking to the salesperson at the counter, I make sure not to say anything until everyone paying for their products is gone. Then I lean forward, closer to him, and whisper.
“I am here to buy a gun. A sniper.”
The way I say it, I see how he looks to the side before he answers me. And when he answers, he says, “You don’t fking say that here. You say it with a code. You want some black blocks.”
Noticing the correction, he says nothing more but nods to me to walk to the back. And by his correction, I can sense that he knows this is my first time.
As I arrive in the back, I am shocked immediately. My eyes are suddenly blinded by someone I did not see from anywhere. And before I know it, I feel some metal at the back of my head.
“You police?” The voice is deep and strong behind me. Knowing fully well that what I just felt behind me was no ordinary metal. This was the mouth of the gun on my head and the sound of a finger on the trigger.
“I am not a policeman. I am just a woman who wants revenge against Matriarch Alessandra. I am Sandra Puppet.”
Saying this, I hear a few seconds of silence in the room before the same voice says,
“How did you find us?”
Just as I say, “Internet!” I feel the butt of the gun slap against my face, and this is everything I remember at this point. The next thing I know, I am lying on the ground, my eyes blurry, with a lot of headaches and sounds.
