Part 44

Previously on Storm pack…

While waiting for about an hour already, my mother, grandmother, grandpa, Uncle Kendrick, and Aunty Berna brought Maxi with them. “Hey mom” Ria said when she saw them. Maxi ran to me the moment he saw me. I picked him up and put him on my lap. “Hey buddy” I said and held him close to me.

“Any news so far” my mother asked. “Not yet, Andrew is working on both of them, but he hasn’t come out yet to tell us anything” I replied. “Daddy, where Mommy and Zen” Maxi asked me. “Uncle Andrew is making them feel better buddy, we will see them soon. After that everybody made small talk while we waited. It was about two hours later when Andrew came back out.

Nash pov

“Hey guys” Andrew said when he came back out. “Hey how are they” I asked. We all stood up and walked towards him. “Okay they are fine, little bit underweight, and they are dehydrated, Sage has a bruise on her head but other than that they are both fine” Andrew said. “Then why were they both passed out” mum asked him. “Well, Sage, I think passed out for too much stress and Dillion passed out because he used too much energy and because they were already under fed” Andrew said.

I just nodded my head. I was too afraid to ask. “Nash” Andrew said, while looking at me. “Yeah” I answered him. “Do you want to see your babies, or do you want to wait for Dillion to wake up” he asked me. I was shocked. “Wait the baby is still alive” I asked him. He smiled at me. “Babies, Nash, and Yes your babies are still alive, I checked for them first” Andrew said.

“Wait there are more than one” Ria asked. “Yes, two babies” he said. “I think I will wait for Dillion to wake up, but you are sure that everybody is fine” I asked him. “Yes, everybody is fine, they both are on a drip, Sage is almost finished with her drip but Dillion’s will take a little bit longer, but we can go and see them” Andrew said. Maxi looked up at Andrew. “See mommy and Zen” he asked Andrew. Andrew smiled at him.

“Yes, we can go and see mommy and Sage” Andrew said to Maxi. Maxi then looks at me. “See” was all he said. I smiled at him. “Yes, let’s go and see them” I said to him. Everybody then followed Andrew to where Sage and Dillion were. When we arrived, they both had a drip in their arms. I looked at both of them. “Zen” Maxi said. We all looked at her and saw that she was awake. I walked towards her.

“Hey baby girl” I said when I was next to her. I placed Maxi on her bed. Andrew helped Sage to sit up in the bed. “Hug Zen” Maxi said while pointing to Sage. “Yes but be very careful” Andrew said to him. Maxi then carefully hugged Sage. She then looked at me and made grabby hands.

“Baby girl, not yet I can’t pick you up yet, you still have a drip in you” I said while smiling sadly at her. She then got teary eyed and started to cry. “It’s fine Nash, her drip is finished” Andrew said while pulling out Sage drip. After he put a Disney plaster on her I picked her up and put her into my arms. She was crying and I was trying to calm her down while trying not to cry.

After awhile she fell asleep in my arms. “Hey son, we will come back later to check on you guys” my mother said. Andrew placed Maxi on the floor. Everybody then left. “I will come and check on them later” Andrew said. “Thank you, brother,” I said to him. He smiled at me and left the room. I then went to sit on the couch next to Dillion’s bed. Sage was sleeping on my lap. Maxi then came to me, and I picked him up and placed him on my other leg. Not long after that he also fell asleep.

I looked at Dillion. I am glad he and the children are safe, and I am also glad I got to them in time. My family is back together, was my last thought before falling asleep.

Dillion pov

I feel somebody touching me. I know the person is not a threat because my body is relaxed, but I also don’t know who the person is. I tried opening my eyes to look at who it is. It took a few tries before I got my eyes open. When I opened my eyes, I shut them again because of the bright light. “Hold on I will the lights quickly.

I waited a little bit. “Okay try opening your eyes again. I opened my eyes again and this time I could see. I looked at the person and saw that it was Andrew. I smiled at him and tried to sit up. Andrew helped me until I was comfortable sitting up. “Thank you” I said to him. He smiled at me. “How are you feeling” he asked me. “I am feeling fine, tired but fine” I replied. Then my memories came back. “My baby and Sage” I asked him with worry in my eyes. “Babies and they are fine; Sage is also fine” Andrew said pointing at something next to me. I turned my head to look at what he was pointing at.

Nash was asleep in the chair and on his lap, also sleeping was Sage and Maxi. I smiled at the picture. Not long after Nash started to wake up. “Well good morning sleepy head” I said. It took him a few minutes but when he registered what I said a smile broke out on his face.

“Hey baby” he said. “How are you feeling” he asked me. “I am feeling better now that I know my babies are safe” I replied. Nash then looked at Maxi. He started to gently shake him awake. “Hey buddy, come on wake up and look who is here” he said to him softly. Maxi then opened his eyes and looked at what his father meant.

When he saw me, his eyes started to water. Nash placed him on the bed. “Mommy” he screamed and launched for me. I caught him and hugged him tight. “Hey Maxi, mommy is fine” I said while calming him down. Nash then placed Sage on the bed also and she hugged my other side. I just looked at Nash and smiled at him. He smiled back at me. My family is back together again.
