Part 43

Previously on Storm pack…

“The more the merrier” Luna Russo said. They then showed us to the living room where everybody sat down. We were talking about the treaty when we suddenly heard a scream. My father looked alarmed at Alpha Russo. “What is going on” he asked. “The kids in our pack house made a new game, one where the scare everybody in the pack house and since nobody expects it, that is the result” he said.

Something didn’t feel right. I looked at Carlos and the caught what I was saying. “Excuse me where is the bathroom” Carlos asked. Alpha Russo gave him the direction and off he went.

Now on Storm pack…

Carlos Pov

I excused myself and went the way that Alpha Russo said the bathroom was. When I was out of sight, I followed in the direction where I heard the scream come from. It let down a flight of stairs next to the kitchen. The closer I got the more voices I heard. When I was just outside the door, I smelled Dillion’s scent. “Hey, I found them, I am going in because there are other people inside, they are next to the kitchen, and I have a feeling that the scream we heard was Dillion” I mind linked them.

I then opened the door and saw Sage lying unconscious on the floor behind a swaying Dillion who looks like he will pass out at any moment. I saw that the beta was there and some girl who I think is Alpha’s daughter. Then I heard it. “Please help” Dillion said before he started to fall. I rushed past the beta and the girl and caught Dillion just in time.

“Guys I suggest you come now” I mind linked them. “What is going on here” the beta yelled at me. “I could ask you the same thing, why do you have Alpha Nash’s mate and daughter” I yelled back. I stood with an unconscious Dillion in my arms. We then heard footsteps coming down the steps. “You can’t go in there” somebody yelled. “Try and stop me” Nash yelled back. I then saw Nash and our group walk down the steps with Alpha Russo and Luna Russo coming down behind them.

Nash pov

When we heard that Carlos had them and that there were already people there. We stood up. “Where are you going” Alpha Russo said. I ignored him and walked towards the kitchen. I saw the door that Carlos was talking about. I opened it and walked down the stairs with everybody following us.

“You can’t go down there” Alpha Russo said. I ignored him and continued walking in there. When I entered, I saw that Carlos held an unconscious Dillion and behind them I saw Sage lying there also unconscious. Andrew ran to Sage and picked her up. I saw red. “What did you do to my mate and my child” I yelled while walking to the beta.

“Hey baby” Carly said while grabbing my arm. Ria then came in and punched her. “My brother might not hit girls but I have no problem in doing it” she said to the girl on the ground. I walked towards the beta and punched him. I then walked towards Carlos and took Dillion from him.

“Let’s go home” I said to everybody. My father stopped at Alpha Russo. “If you ever come near me or my family again, I will put the council on you, I am breaking the treaty with you and do not ever come to any event where we are again, do you understand me, he is no longer your son, you threw him away, so stay away from him and my grandchildren” my father said in his alpha voice to Alpha Russo.

By the end of my father speech Alpha Russo and his family were trembling. We all walked past them, Dillion in my arms and Andrew holding Sage close to him. We walked towards the cars and drove back home. When we arrived at home, Andrew told us to follow him to the pack medical wing.

When we got there, he placed Sage on one bed and told me to put Dillion on the other bed. “Okay Nash, you guys have to wait outside now, I will work on them and let you know as soon as I am done” he said to me. I looked at Dillion and gave him a kiss on the head and did the same to Sage. I walked out of the room to the waiting room where the rest were waiting.

While waiting for about an hour already, my mother, grandmother, grandpa, Uncle Kendrick, and Aunty Berna brought Maxi with them. “Hey mom” Ria said when she saw them. Maxi ran to me the moment he saw me. I picked him up and put him on my lap. “Hey buddy” I said and held him close to me.

“Any news so far” my mother asked. “Not yet, Andrew is working on both of them, but he hasn’t come out yet to tell us anything” I replied. “Daddy, where Mommy and Zen” Maxi asked me. “Uncle Andrew is making them feel better buddy, we will see them soon. After that everybody made small talk while we waited. It was about two hours later when Andrew came back out.
