Chapter 799 Under Coercion, Confession of Evil Deeds!

Finally, Debra's mental defenses completely collapsed. She slumped to the floor, sobbing uncontrollably.

"It was... it was me... I gave it to her..."

The room fell dead silent.

Patrick was stunned, staring at her in disbelief. "What did you just say... say that again?"

"That report... Tiffany gave it to me. I was the one who handed it to Jessica... that's how it got out..." Debra cried, tears and snot streaming down her face. Now that everything had come to light, she had no choice but to come clean to protect herself.

Being exposed on video and becoming a laughingstock for the tabloids and high society was far worse than admitting her mistakes. And at the end of the day, she was still a Wellington by blood. So what if she had set Molly up? Her father, who valued family reputation and his own pride above everything else, would surely step up and protect her.

"Why would Tiffany just hand you that diagnosis report for no reason?" Byron's anger made it hard for him to breathe.

"I... I don't know... Maybe all that drug use fried her brain. She's crazy!"

"You dug up Tiffany's dirty past and used it against her to get something that could destroy Molly's engagement and her happiness. That's what happened, isn't it?" Edward's eyes darkened, burning with barely contained fury.

"I... I..." Under the crushing pressure, Debra's mind went completely blank. Every word of the man's accusation was dead on, and she couldn't even come up with a single thing to say in her defense.

"You animal! You're worse than an animal!" Byron slammed his hand against his wheelchair armrest in rage. He could barely stay on his feet, and Tyler had to hold him up. "Molly is your own sister! You two grew up together. She was always so good to you... she trusted you... How could you do this to her?"

"You're disgusting. You're just like your dead mother," Patrick said, his disappointment in his daughter complete.

"You all pushed me to this! Is it really all my fault?" Debra threw all caution to the wind and screamed like a madwoman. "Grandpa! You always said you loved me, but behind my back you gave all your love to Molly! I was the one who fell for Eric first... but you did everything you could to push him and Molly together! Why does she get everything good? What does she have that I don't?"

Byron stood there, completely speechless.

But in an instant, his face darkened again. His rage-filled eyes welled up with tears, and he stepped forward and slapped her again — harder and heavier than before.

Both Edward and Patrick were shocked.

Debra's ears throbbed and rang from the blow. The pain left her face drenched in cold sweat.

"The thing I hate most in this world is women who let jealousy over a man drive them to harm their own flesh and blood!" Byron's eyes were red and wild as he roared, his heart bleeding with pain. "Years ago... your grandmother... just because I liked her, just because I wanted to marry her... her own vicious sister beat her so badly she went deaf in her left ear!"

Everyone was stunned. Even Tyler, who knew Byron better than anyone, froze.

"How are you any different from that evil woman? You're even worse than she was — you used someone else to do your dirty work against your own sister!" Byron pointed a shaking finger at Debra's pale face, his voice raw with fury. "I have no granddaughter like you. Don't you ever tell anyone outside this house that you're Byron's granddaughter. You don't deserve that name."

"Grandpa..." At that moment, Debra was truly, genuinely terrified. Patrick had never liked her. Her grandfather now despised her. And Edward had always been her worst enemy. Was there still any place for her in this family?

"Debra, since you've already confessed, there's nothing more to say." Edward turned his cold gaze to Patrick. "Dad, what do you plan to do with her?"

Patrick was seething. He was furious not just because Debra had set Molly up, but even more so because she had gotten into bed with the Clark Group.

"Lock her up in the back courtyard of Riverside Villa. She's not allowed to set foot outside. I'll handle the rest."

Edward shook his head slightly. "That's not enough."

Patrick frowned. "Then what do you have in mind?"

"Cut off every cent of her money. Exile her out of the country, and don't let her come back." Edward's words landed like blows, his tone leaving no room for argument. "And on top of that, she has to go before Molly, bow her head, and give her a proper apology — and beg for her forgiveness."
