Chapter 5: Thanatos Haemon Lauder

Everyone from other clans who knows the Lauder family fears the youngest heir. Pinapakilala ng Lauder clan ang kanilang sarili sa mga bumabangga sa mga ito sa pamamagitan ng sakit at dugo. Dahilan para matakot ang mga ito at ibigay ang respeto.

Sa mga dugong Lauder ay iisa ang natatangi at mas kinatatakutan ng kahit na sino.

Thanatos Haemon Lauder, the son of the Zeus Lauder who was formerly known as the cold blooded mafia.

Everyone thinks that Zeus is much more dangerous than his son as they saw him kill hundreds of people in one go. Ngunit higit pa rito ang kakayahan ni Thao. He enjoys watching people suffer, torture and blood is his pleasure.

“Hindi ko alam kung anong katangahan ang ginagawa niyo at napasukan tayo ng spy” Thao said casually as he leaned on the container box.

Naglabas ito ng sigarilyo at sinindihan. He seems chill but the two men infront of him are shaking and sweating controllably.

“Look up, you sh*t” malamig na utos nito sa hawak ng dalawa pa na body guard na lalake na nakaluhod.

One of the guard forcefully lifted the man’s face to face Thao whose expression darkens upon seeing the man’s face.

“I chose the two of you to manage the business since we’re busy for a month” Thao said as he smokes. He’s referring to Eden and Phoenix na kararating lang sa compound.

“What’s up?” tanong ni Phoenix nang makalapit ito.

Phoenix looked at the man, his face frowned nang mamukhaan niya ito.

“This bastard is the one who started the hostage at the mall” Phoenix said, confirming Thao’s suspicion.

“Bring me the shotgun” he ordered one of his men.

“So why did you bring this rat here?” seryosong tanong ni Thao sa dalawang nanginginig na tauhan.

“Hindi ko naman po alam na magnanakaw siya” nanginginig na sagot ng isa, samantalang ang isa ay nanatiling tahimik ngunit bakas pa rin dito ang takot.

“You know I f*cking hate traitors” Thao said, as if giving a hint to the two men.

“Umamin ka” matigas na utos nito. One of the guards know na hindi para sa kaniya ang utos na iyon. Nakuha nito ang ibig sabihin ni Thao, alam niyang hindi siya ang tinatanong nito ngunit hindi pa rin mawala sa kaniya ang takot lalo pa at isa siya sa nag-manage ng mga gamit na ibinebenta.

Eden took out his gun and pointed it on one of the guards. Nanlaki ang mata ng lalakeng nagsalita kanina nang maramdaman nito ang malamig na metal sa may bandang sintido niya.

Eden has been monitoring the guard’s actions dahil nagsususpetya ito. Hindi nga ito nagkamali. He’s from one of the clan that is trying to sabotage their business. Thao already know this kaya ipinamanage nito ang mga baril at bala na alam niyang nanakawin at ieexport sa kabilang clan. Too bad, Thao set this as a trap. He ordered it illegally at inilagay sa pangalan ng nasabing clan.

“Your business should be destroyed by now” Thao said as the guard handed the shotgun to him.

“As much as I want to interrogate you more, I’m afraid I like to kill you just because I’m disgusted by your face” He points the gun at the guard.

A loud gunshot was heard, the guard surprisingly opened his eyes nang hindi nito maramdaman ang tama ng bala sa katawan. Ngunit nanlaki ang mga mata nito ng makita ang nakabulagta na lalake sa sahig.

“Ashton?!” sigaw nito at nagkakawalag upang mapuntahan ang nakabulagtang lalake.

“Don’t bother, susunod ka naman sa kapatid mo” Thao said in a bored tone as he points his gun to the guard’s head.

“See you in hell” Thao gave a devilish smiled before firing at the guard’s head.

Isang segundo lamang ay bumulagta ito sa sahig.

“F*ck natalsikan pa” Thao said in annoyance ng makita ang talsik ng dugo sa damit nito.

“You look hot though” komento ni Phoenix, earning a glare from Thao.

Phoenix just laughed as Eden chuckled. Phoenix loves annoying Thao as he knows that he can’t kill him and that is his biggest flex.

“Pack their bodies and sent it to their families. Maglagay na rin kayo ng nalantang bulaklak, condolences.” Utos nito bago talikuran ang mga ito.

Sumunod sina Phoenix at Eden sa magkatabing gilid nito at sinabayan siya sa paglalakad.

“You killed like 10 people per day, is it satisfying?” tanong ni Phoenix

“I would be satisfied pag ikaw ang napatay ko” Phoenix just rolled his eyes by Thao’s remarks.

“Eden, please take over half of the business now. Phoenix can train the new recruits” Thao said, giving orders.

“I’m going home to take some rest” just as he was about to dial on his phone, it suddenly rang.

He picked it up. Within few seconds his face darkens once again.

Ibinaba nito ang cellphone bago mabilis na maglakad palabas ng compound.

“Go to Arius clan and give them a threat” Thao ordered coldly before fully exiting the compound.

“You’re lucky you’re still alive” Thao comments when he saw Celine quiet in her room.

“Ganito ba ang makikita ko araw-araw?” nanginginig na tanong ni Celine sa binata.

“What do you mean?” Thao pretends to be confused kahit pa alam na nito ang nangyari.

The man who nearly killed her was shot in the head infront of her, natalsikan pa ito ng dugo. Isa sa mga guards ang nakapatay dito. Celine tried her best to wash off the blood from her face and neck as if she’s disgusted and horrified by what she witnessed.

“May namatay na lalake sa harapan ko. Feeling ko mamamatay ako kapag nanatili pa ako rito” halos mangiyak-ngiyak na reklamo ni Celine.

Thao puts a small smirk on his face. Ngunit agad din nawala nang makita nita ang pasa sa braso ng dalaga.

Nilapitan niya ang dalaga at hinawakan ang parte ng braso na malapit sa pasa. Carefully examining to not hurt Celine. Even though he knows that Celine’s going to be in so much pain and chaos soon.

“Siya ba ang may gawa nito sa’yo?” seryosong tanong nito

“Sino pa ba” mahinang tugon ni Celine.

Thao clenched his jaw. Ang pinaka-ayaw nito sa lahat ay dinudumihan at hindi pinapahalagahan ang pag-aari niya and Celine’s a girl after all.

“I’ll f*cking make them pay” Thao said as he clench his jaw.

“Kailan mo ba ako pakakawalan?” tanong ng dalaga.

Thao just looked at her, “Hindi ka makakaalis” Celine knows that she needs to give up upon hearing those words.

Wala na talagang magagawa ang dalaga, she needs to choose whether to be killed outside the mansion or be stuck inside the mansion with a dangerous man.

“But I can promise you that no one can harm you, starting now” Thao continues which caught Celine’s attention.

“Hindi na ako tatakas, but I need one thing from you” Celine said, finally giving up.

Thao just stared at her, hinihintay ang susunod na sasabihin ng dalaga. Sa nakikita nito ay halatang pagod ang dalaga dahil sa sunod-sunod na nangyayari sa buhay nito but Thao wanted to make sure that she’s healthy and in good condition for his plan.

“I need you to make me feel safe here” ani Celine, tinignan ng mapupungay nitong mga mata binata.

“I can, put your trust on me”

There was a moment of silence. Pareho lamang nakatingin ang dalawa sa isa’t-isa na ‘tila ba binabasa ang ekspresyon.

“Don’t leave the room until I told you to come out, I have some business to do” ani Thao bago tumayo at maglakad palabas ng kwarto.

Celine just sighed, her mind is blank. All she wants to do now is to sleep without any worries that someone may hurt her.

“Thanatos”

“It has been awhile since you last called me by my name” Thao said casually as he took a sit on the mini red sofa infront of the long desk.

Humarap sa kaniya ang babaeng nakaupo sa swivel chair.

A smirk forms on the woman’s red lips as soon as she saw Thao.

“How’s it going?” tanong ng babae

“I guess I still have a long way to go” Thao answered

Kinuha nito ang wine glass na nakalapag sa coffee table saka ininom ang laman. He then brushed his red hair as he lean on the sofa.

“You’re really sure about this plan, huh”

Ngumisi lamang si Thao bago tumingin sa litrato ng isang babae na may hawak na sanggol.

“I’m gonna use his own blood to destroy him” bakas sa tono ng boses ito ang matinding galit na matagal nang nasa loob niya.

“Be careful on your actions and plans. I don’t want you to regret it” the woman said as she took a sip from her wine glass.

Tumayo ito at tumingin sa malaking bintana kung saan tanaw ang mga ibang estraktura. Sumunod na tumayo si Thao at tinabihan ang lalake.

“I would be satisfied to see him drop rather than regretting” seryosong sagot nito habang nakatingin sa bintana.

“Kadugo nga talaga kita” the woman smirked.

She raises her wine glass, “Cheers”
