CHAPTER 2

The phone call stirred me from the inside. That was certainly not something you expect to hear in the morning. I mean, don’t get me wrong, but Tracy was such a nice and selfless girl. Not that I loved her, but she was almost flawless. I remember the way her black hair cascaded down her back, to her breasts and the way she smiled at me. Oh, that smile. Nearly made me cum at the sight. She was bubbly, enthusiastic and kind hearted. Who'd do something like that?

I was lost in thoughts, until I remembered that I slept naked, and I had to wear some decent clothes and get to the police station. I sighed as I picked up a plain grey t-shirt and black jeans from the closet and slipped them on. I absent mindedly wore my Vans sneakers, as I tousled my auburn hair and with one last look at the mirror, I'm out of the door.

I came walking into the living room, where I had the car keys hanging from a sticky padded hook, adhered to the wall. I randomly picked up one of the many keys, when I heard a voice, “Where are you going, Levy?” Oh, that hoarse voice.

“Reign, I have some urgent work to attend to. Don’t bother yourself about it. Go back to sleep, it’s 5:15 am only.” I looked at him, and he shook his head.

He came towards me, until he was really close. So much so, that his hot breath was stroking my neck. Slightly shorter than me, he was quite the perfect guy. I was 5’11” whereas, he was 5’9”. But, he was acting weird. However close I was to my siblings, Reign never really came near me, physically. He didn’t give me hugs when I offered, never let me pat his head, or tend his wounds when he used to engage himself in awful brawls at school. He was always quite distant.

He quickly slipped a hand under my t-shirt, caressing my taut muscles and I kind of panicked. What is he doing? “Levy…” He whispered, as I gaped at him, still too shocked to react. I am his brother! He is my brother my blood! That touch is inappropriate.

“Reign, I have to go.” I reply, as if his touch didn’t bother me, but it did. More than what I'd let anyone know.

“Where are you even going? Leaving me at home? Don’t run from me, Lev.” He whispered, trailing his fingers all the way up from my stomach, to my chest. What has gotten into him? Doesn’t he know that one shouldn’t touch his brother like that? It was purely sexual.

“There is bread in the fridge and butter, obviously. Milk as well. Help yourself.” I state before pulling his hand away from my chest. I was not his to touch. He shot me a look of disapproval, which I chose to ignore.

With that, I hastily scooted out of the room. In the garage, I saw my black Audi parked. I unlocked the car, as I hoped inside, driving to the police station. After a drive of fifteen minutes, I pull up infront of the building. I hurriedly park my car, as I enter the whitewashed building. “Mr. Williams?” A disembodied voice called out, and I turned to face the sheriff.

“Yeah, it’s me. Nice to meet you, Sheriff.” I said, shaking her hand as she smiled at me and ushered me into a room. “Please sit down, Mr. Williams.” She requested, gesturing towards a chair, as I sat on it.

“Where were you yesterday night from 6pm – 9pm?” She asks, busily tapping her pen on the desk.

“I was at a night club, partying with my friends. It was kind of like a tequila ritual for us.” I reply, non chalantly.

“Are there any witnessed who’d say the same?” She gives me a side way glance, as she sits on a chair, facing me.

“Of course. I was with my best friend Lucifer and some other school guys. Namely, George, Edward and Jackson.” I crossed one leg over the other.

“Okay, good. Mr. Williams, have a look at these.” She opened a file and produced some photos as she handed them over to me. My eyes scan the photos, as I realize that these are snaps taken from the crime scene. Oh my god.
