Chapter 100- Hunter

Chapter 100- Hunter
It was two hours later, and Aria was patiently waiting for Hunter to arrive. She took a deep breath and quietly paced around the back garden, thinking as much as she didn’t want to see him or touch him, she needed to do this for herself and all her and Adrian’s loved ones who had suffered at his hands.

She had rang him and told him to come over as she wanted to talk to him about something important. Hunter was a bit hesitant at first but agreed when she told him that Adrian wasn’t home, and she could do with some company.

He knew it sounded too good to be true but decided to go anyways as he had been meaning to get her alone and what better way to do it then at her own house.

Aria felt her heart skip a beat the moment her phone beeped, and she realised he was here. She was looking out at the swimming pool in front of her when she heard footsteps.

She turned around slowly and looked at Hunter who was dressed more casually than normal. He walked over to her and looked down at her with a small smirk on his face,

“You called me here, why?” he asked with a hand in his pocket. Aria slipped her phone into her pocket and looked up at him,

“Like I told you over the phone I need to talk to you about something” she said with a serious look on his face, thinking he looked too calm for her liking.

Hunter looked around the garden and then at her,

“Not going to offer me a drink or anything first” he asked.

Aria sighed softly and led him over to the outdoor sitting area and fire pit, thinking she needed to act as normal as she possibly could, although she wanted to kill him right there and then without wasting any time.

She poured him his favourite drink and looked at him as he sat down and made himself comfortable,

“We don’t have much time so lets make this quick” she said before she sat down and looked over at him directly, wondering what was going through his mind.

Hunter took the glass of drink from her hand and quickly gulped it down,

“What did you want to talk about?” he asked before he rested his glass on the armrest.

Aria sighed and looked at him,

“It’s about the pictures you have of me, please don’t send them to Adrian” she said with a pleading look on her face, thinking this was her only chance at getting as close as she could to Hunter, and she wasn’t going to mess it up.

Hunter looked at her and frowned,

“Why? Scared he might leave you?” he asked before he drank some more of his drink.

Aria felt his dark eyes fall to her chest,

“What if I told you that I’d do anything you want, as long as you don’t share those pictures of me” she said although she felt disgusted with her own self for even saying that out loud.

“This is just part of the plan Aria, the quicker you get him to agree the quicker you can finish him off and celebrate” she reminded herself in her head.

Hunter leaned back against his seat and smirked,

“I’m afraid I can’t do that as Adrian needs to know what kind of woman you are. You like breaking hearts, don’t you?” he said before he tapped his glass and looked at her directly.

Aria looked back at him with a serious look on his face,

“I don’t remember anything from that night why don’t you refresh my memory” she said quietly, thinking she needed him to loosen up a little before she could make her move.

She wanted him to believe that she was willing to do anything.

Hunter let out a quiet creepy laugh and looked at her, wondering if she was being serious or just playing around.

“You’ve always disliked me, what’s with the change of heart now?” he asked, as he didn’t trust her at all and wondered if she had some sort of plan up her sleeve.

Although the idea of refreshing her mind didn’t sound so bad.

Since that night at the hotel, he hadn’t stopped thinking about her, or how she looked and felt.

Aria moved closer to him on the sofa and gently placed her hand on his leg,

“Like I said, I’m willing to do anything to save mine and Adrian’s relationship, even if that means going all the way with you” she said quietly before she slowly moved her hand up towards his thigh.

Hunter tensed slightly and watched her quietly, thinking her soft voice alone was enough to make him rethink his decision and agree willingly.

He placed a hand over hers and looked down into her pretty eyes deeply, thinking he could never go all the way with her, but he could have a little bit of fun.

“You have a minute to make me change my mind” he said before he relaxed back against the sofa and placed both of his arms behind his head, making Aria and Adrian’s job easier.

Aria took the glass from his hand and put it down on the coffee table in front of her before she got up from where she was sitting and walked around the sofa.

Hunter watched her quietly as she stood behind him and looked down at him with a small genuine smile on her face,

“Relax back, close your eyes and let me take you to heaven” she whispered in his ear quietly before she gently massaged both of his shoulders.

Aria didn’t expect him to listen so quickly, but he did.

It was in that moment Adrian quietly made his way outside. He had been watching everything from the cameras and was glad him and Aria both had Hunter exactly where they wanted him to be.

As much as he hated seeing Aria whisper stuff in his ear, he knew it needed to be done to keep him distracted. He unhooked the pair of handcuffs he was holding in his hand and walked over to Hunter.

Aria continued whispering sweet nothings into Hunter’s ears, turning him on nicely, knowing there was no better way to torture him then leave him hanging with a nice painful hard on, one that would frustrate him greatly.

Hunter was far too busy listening to her talk dirty to even realise that they weren’t alone.

Adrian gave Aria a small nod before he quickly and effortlessly secured both of Hunter’s wrists together with the handcuff.

“I didn’t know you were the kinky type” Hunter said to Aria quietly before he opened his eyes.

Instead of Aria looking down at him, he saw Adrian and almost jumped as he wasn’t sure if he was imaging stuff or if he was actually there.

“What the fucks going on?” he said a little loudly as he looked between him and Aria, wondering if he had been set up.

Adrian walked around the sofa and looked down at him with a hand on his chin,

“Who the fuck are you?” he asked quietly but firmly, thinking no matter how much he tried to find out who he really was he couldn’t, almost like he had wiped his real identity of the face of the planet.

Hunter tried to bring both of his hands forward from behind his head but couldn’t because of the awkward angle they were tied together in.

“I guess you’ll never know, not until you take these cuffs of me” he muttered unhappily before he looked at Aria, thinking he was an idiot to believe that wanted to go all the way with him when all she wanted was revenge, nothing else.

Adrian took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit up quickly before he took a long puff of it,

“Cut the chase and start talking or we can do this the harder way” he said before he leaned down and pressed the front of his cigarette against the side of his neck, making his skin burn.

Hunter winced but didn’t give in as he knew how to handle pain very well and wasn’t going to act weak, not in front of the man he hated with his very soul.

“All I will say is that I am your worst enemy” he said as Adrian continued pushing his cigarette further into his skin, until he heard it sizzle.

Aria stood next to Adrian and looked down at Hunter,

“You took away so much from us, why? What did we ever do to you?” she asked as she remembered Rosalina telling her how it was Hunter who had got someone to kill Angela.

Hunter groaned quietly as the heat of the cigarette burnt into his skin,

“You made me kill the love of my life, that’s what you did” he said coldly, and it took both Aria and Adrian a moment to understand what he meant.

Adrian moved the cigarette from his neck and looked down at him, wondering if he was being serious or just messing around.

“Who?” he asked quickly, as he had made him kill a lot of people over the past two years and didn’t know who he was talking about exactly.

Hunter looked at him and Aria both angrily,

“Rylan” he said quietly, making Aria’s eyes widen with shock, thinking no this could not be happening. There was no way he was talking about the same Rylan that she had dated in the past.

“I didn’t even know he was alive until after I killed him, if it wasn’t for you both I would have never done it” Hunter said icily as he remembered that night, like it was just yesterday.

Adrian listened to him quietly, not expecting him to be interested in men.

“What do you mean you didn’t know?” he asked with a hand on his chin.

Hunter looked at him and shook his head,

“I assumed he was dead as that’s what everyone believed after he left town suddenly” he said before he looked at Aria who looked pale.

She couldn’t believe he knew Rylan.

“Rylan was my best friend, we worked together in the navy seals. I loved him, but he loved someone else, someone who clearly wasn’t worthy of his love” Hunter said before he looked up at Aria.

Aria suddenly felt very suffocated as she listened to him quietly,

“He loved you a lot and there was nothing he wouldn’t have done for you, yet it still wasn’t enough, was it?” Hunter said angrily.

Adrian took a step towards him and looked down at him with a serious look on his face,

“Leave the past to the past and focus on the present, tell me why the fuck you came to New-York in the first place?” he said before he grabbed him by the collars and looked into his eyes dangerously.

It was in that moment Hunter very easily released both of his wrists from the handcuff and looked up at Adrian,

“Only for revenge, nothing else” he said before he pushed him back roughly and totally caught him off guard, thinking now it was his time to show him who he was messing with and not the other way around.
