It was the following morning and Aria and Adrian had woken up nice and early, with last night fresh on their minds. Aria had stripped the entire bedding and put some new one on, before she aired the room and made sure no evidence of their wild night was left behind.
Adrian buttoned up his shirt in the mirror and looked over at her as she smoothed out the new bedsheet, his eyes falling on her behind, thinking he was surprised she was still walking after being on her knees for the most part of last night.
She still couldn’t look him in the eyes without blushing and he knew it was because of what he did.
He quickly fixed his hair before he put on his jacket and tied his watch around his wrist, thinking a few more times and she’ll get used to it and there was a lot more that he wanted to do with her, with her consent obviously.
“You done cleaning?” he asked her quietly, thinking in under an hour she had made the entire room look good as new and smell nice and refreshing.
Aria turned from the bed and looked at him with a small smile on her face,
“Almost, you know after last night I can’t even look at my lovely chair the same again” she said before she glanced at the hanging chair, thinking although she had changed the cover of the cushions and wiped it clean, she still couldn’t get the image of what they did on it out of her mind.
Adrian walked over to her quietly and gently pulled her into his arms, taking her by surprise.
“I don’t blame you, we did do some dirty things on it right beautiful” he said in her ear quietly, before he kissed her there softly, thinking she looked beautiful and smelt amazing.
Aria leaned back against his arms and looked up at him,
“That we did” she said before she reached up and kissed him on the lips softly, thinking last night was nothing short of amazing and she could still feel his hands on her body.
They both kissed for a good few minutes before they moved back from each other forcefully and made their way downstairs, along with all of their bags.
Aria discreetly put all the bedding and cushion covers she took off into the washing machine, thinking she’ll tell Raya to take them out later and put them into the dryer without anyone finding out as she didn’t want the whole house to know what had happened last night, even though something deep inside told her that her younger brother Niko probably already knew as his room was next to hers, and she hadn’t exactly been the quietest.
Gabriella smiled the moment both her and Adrian walked into the kitchen and greeted everyone. Adrian took Lyla from her and gave her a long soft kiss on the cheek,
“Morning my love” he said quietly, making her day.
Lyla reached for his face and gave him a nice slobbery kiss back before she twisted her little chubby hand in his beard and tugged on it a little, something she always did whenever she got her hands on it.
Aria walked over to them both and looked up at Lyla,
“You just loving pulling dada’s beard don’t you” she said before she kissed her on the forehead softly, thinking it was going to be hard leaving her behind with her family as it was something she had never done before.
Lyla smiled and held out both of her arms to her,
“Mama” she said happily. Aria took her from Adrian and hugged her tightly before she lead the way to the dining table that was filled with food.
Gabriella had made toast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fresh scones, and waffles, along with two kettles filled with tea and coffee.
“How did you both sleep?” Weston asked Adrian and Aria once they both sat down next to each. Adrian helped himself to some coffee and looked over at him with a serious look on his face,
“Good” he said just as Nate walked into the kitchen with a hand in his pocket.
He sat down opposite of him and Aria and snickered,
“If they even slept” he mumbled under his breath, making Aria’s pretty eyes widen and heart skip a beat. She kept her eyes on Lyla and broke some pancakes for her, letting Adrian deal with her annoying younger brother.
Adrian leaned back against his seat and looked at Nate,
“Guess you’ll never know” he said before he drank some of his coffee, looking as unbothered as ever, unlike Aria who avoided making eye contact with him and busied herself with Lyla.
She fed her some strawberries and looked over at her mum who was putting in some food for her dad,
“Did she sleep ok at night?” she asked with a small smile, thinking with every second that passed she felt more and more anxious about leaving her behind, although she knew she was in good hands.
Gabriella sat down on her other side and fed her some food as she was busy feeding Lyla.
“Yes, she slept through in my arms” she said with a smile, thinking it was an amazing feeling to see her baby girl with a little princess of her own.
Adrian picked up a slice of toast from the centre of the table and looked at Gabriella as she fed Aria, thinking only a mothers love could be so unconditional and priceless.
It was in that very moment he remembered Angela and felt something deep inside, thinking there was nothing he wouldn’t do to hear her voice again and hug her tightly in his arms.
Nate helped himself to some toast and eggs and looked over at Adrian,
“What time are you and Aria leaving?” he asked just as the clouds turned darker outside and it started raining.
Adrian drank some more of his coffee and looked at him,
“As soon as your sisters done eating” he said before he glanced at his watch. Aria wiped Lyla’s face with a tissue gently and looked up at him with a small smile on her face,
“I won’t take long” she said before she put some Nutella on her pancake and ate it with some fresh strawberries, thinking she loved pancakes.
She remembered when Rosalina made them for her and wondered where she was and if she was even safe. It was almost forty minutes later when her and Adrian both said their goodbyes to everyone.
Aria put Lyla down for her first nap of the day before she got ready to leave, not wanting her to see Adrian and her leave her behind.
“I will take good care of her honey and you can video call to see her any time you like” Gabriella said to Aria as she watched her gently stroke Lyla’s head and kiss her on the cheek softly.
Adrian kissed Lyla on the forehead softly before he took Aria’s hand and lead her out of the house to their awaiting car that was going to take them to the airport.
Aria waved goodbye to her family before she climbed into the car and rested her head on Adrian’s shoulder thinking they needed to go home and take care of Hunter once and for all.
In the last few weeks, both her and Adrian had gathered enough evidence as they could to bring him to his knees, and now they just needed to put their final plan in action and watch him suffer for everything he had done.
The local time in New-York was just after six in the evening when Aria and Adrian arrived home and quickly freshened up before they headed out to the terrace as that was where Raj had set up their dinner.
Aria was wearing a nice white sleeveless bodysuit top which she had tucked inside a pair of ripped jeans. She had tied all of her long hair back in a sleek bun and finished off her look with a pair of simple white heels.
“You, ok?” Adrian asked her quietly as he pulled out a chair for her and waited for her to sit down, thinking since they had returned home, she had been very quiet, and he knew it was probably because she was missing Lyla.
Aria pulled in her chair and looked up at him with a small smile on her face,
“I’m nervous about tonight, he’s hurt way too many people already and I’m scared he might hurt you or me ” she said about Hunter quietly.
Adrian reached for hand and gave it a gentle comforting squeeze,
“He won’t, not this time, and that’s my promise to you beautiful” he said before took hold of her chin and kissed her on the lips softly, thinking she effortlessly stunning even though she was dressed casually.
Aria smiled softly and looked up at him,
“I love you” she said before she wrapped both of her arms around him and hugged him tightly, feeling safe and protected in his muscled arms.
Adrian hugged her back and gently stroked the back of her head,
“Not as much as I love you my love” he said before he kissed her on the top part of her head softly, thinking once Hunter was dealt with the first thing, he is going to do is marry her and make her the Delgado queen she deserved to be.
Raj quietly placed the food in front of them and asked them both needed anything before he took his leave. Aria forcefully moved away from Adrian and looked down at all the tasty food that Raj had prepared.
“It’s a good thing we sent Chase to Miles and Jenna’s place for the night” she said before she helped herself to some lasagna.
Adrian broke some of his grilled chicken with his knife and fork and looked at her with a serious look on his face,
“Yeah, but he’s not stupid, he’ll know we got rid of him for a reason” he said before he took his first bite. He still hadn’t told Aria who he really was and wanted to tell her when the time was right, for now they needed to focus on Hunter.
Aria ate some of her lasagna and listened to him quietly,
“That’s true” she said and with that they both continued eating and talking, until it was time to put their perfectly planned out plan in to action.
