Jane Wright is getting married.
She signs her name and looks up at the man next to her as she fills in her spouse. "What's your name again? Sorry, I forgot."
Joseph Alcock's incredibly handsome face turns black. Does this woman really don’t know? Or does she just pretend too well? There are women in K City who don't know him, Joseph Alcock?
Joseph Alcock, with a stunning face that can turn people’s heart upside down, also has a perfectly proportioned body. He is a diamond single, the head of RS Group, involved in finance, e-commerce, real estate, entertainment industry etc. He is the dream of all the women in K City.
He grabs the form out of Jane's hands and drops his name with a stroke of a pen. His handwriting is bold and domineering.
In this way, the two of them completed all the legal formalities of a marriage.
Jane neatly packs her things. Joseph is about to speak when Jane suddenly says, "When are we getting divorced?"
"The doctor said my grandmother might not make it through this month." He says coldly.
Her words made him feel extremely unhappy, when can divorce, this should be his most concern, not hers. What's her hurry for?
Jane frowns. Three months ago, she accidentally rescued an old lady on the side of the road who was in a critical condition with a blocked breath. She decisively performed a pneumothorax puncture on the second intercostal intercostal line of the old lady’s middle clavicle.
An ambulance arrived in time to save the old lady's life. However, she did not realize that the old lady is a terminal lung cancer patient, then the old loady insisted on her grandson to marry her while she is still alive.
"Why can't you make a fake marriage document?" Jane is still a bit confused.
Joseph gives her a look. "My grandmother will send someone to verify it. Fake ones can't hide at all."
"I have a request." Then says Jane.
"Eh? Joseph raises his eyebrows to see what she would do.
"As much as I wish your grandma could live a long life. But our fake marriage has to end sometime. I hope that, after the divorce, you will use your powers to remove all traces of your and mine having been certified married." "Jane says with a serious look on her face.
"......" As the heir to the RS Group and a diamond level single guy, doesn't he need to erase his traces more? This woman, it's written all over her face that she wants to be clean with him. It makes him very upset.
"No problem." He grits his teeth and spits the words out between his teeth.
"All right." Jane shrugs her shoulders. "Good-bye. Don't forget the half a million.”
She hands Joseph a note. In beautiful handwriting, it has her name, her bank card number etc.
Joseph sneers. So she finally pick up the topic about money?
He was brought up by his grandmother and has a deep emotion link with her. His grandmother suffered from illness in her later years, and he only wishes she had no regrets in her life.
But the grandmother was deceived by this woman and insists that he marry the woman. When he decided to comfort his grandmother by using a fake marriage to appease her, this woman demanded the amount of money: half a million.
"So you saved Grandma on purpose?" His voice is as cold as ice as he turns after her.
Jane looks back, her red lips slightly raises, with an indifferent smile, "Well, if you think so, then that’s it."
She looks back and smiles with stunning beauty. With that, she leaves without any trace of reluctance.
What a joke. She doesn't even know who he is, let alone his grandmother? This man is really sick as “being a prince”. He thinks all women have designs on him.
Why don't he want to think of it, if she really did it on purpose, then she should at least ask him for 50 million? Half a million won't even cover the cost of that handmade suit he's wearing.
After she left, Joseph is stunned for a moment. Damn it, he got attracted to that woman just looking back and smiling.
He looks down and rubs his marriage certificate playfully. In the photo of the two of them, she is far away from him, appearing very distant and strange to him.
Admittedly, she's tall and delicate, with obsidian eyes, long eyebrows and sexy lips. You say she is charming, but she also has a heroic look; You say she is neat, but she also has graceful; All kinds of charm blend into her unique temperament, let a person see cannot guess what she really is.
But Joseph's cold lips hook, he’s sure that this gold-digger, calculating woman would one day show her true colors.
Then he thinks of something, with a low curse. Damn it, he forgot to ask her for her number. This woman didn't even ask him for it either.
After struggling to escape his pursuers, he jumps into the river in a desperate attempt to save himself.
Jane is walking on the road. She's busy tonight. Ruyi Kay, the director of the orphanage wants her to come back to the orphanage tonight.
The sudden bangs alerts her instantly. She knows from her experience that it is actually a gunshot.
She follows the sound and far away sees several people fighting, one of whom seems to be injured and forced to jump into the river.
As the other three give chase and prepare to shoot further into the water, there is a whooshing sound and Jane throws several backhand darts at the necks of the three men with precise precision.
There are several more swoosh sounds, beautiful silver arcs in the air, and in a moment the darts are back in Jane's hands. Carrying around a homemade boomerang has been her habit for years.
"Ouch!” Screams sounds, the several gangsters quickly covers the bleeding neck, then run away.
That's a hell of a trick. It didn't cut their carotid artery directly, but if they don't stop the bleeding immediately, they're gonna die.
Jane Wright, senior, studying in Conrad University, K City, honors student in Manufacturing Design, smart and beautiful.
But few people know of her more glorious past, when she won the national junior 10-meter air pistol competition. What's more, she could have won the world shooting Championship. She led from the heats all the way, but for some reason, she suddenly dropped out of the competition in the final moment and has not been seen since then.
Jane's a good shot with an accuracy of 0.01 millimeters. Darts is also one of her best skills.
After fighting off the gangsters, Jane rushes to the river. Whoever jumped in there must have been hurt, maybe killed.
Without thinking, she jumps straight over the railing and into the water. As she has expected, the drowning man is so heavy that she has to drag the drowning man ashore.
It is very dark here, the moon is obscured by thick clouds, and there are no streetlights around, so it can't see faces with each other at all. The man who has been shot is unconscious and lay motionless on the ground.
Jane has learned all kinds of first-aid techniques, so she presses hard and repeatedly on his chest, several times, he still does not spit out the water choking in his chest.
Do I have to give him mouth-to-mouth? She thinks. Well, life saving matters. She pauses, frowns, then presses her lips to his lips and blows hard.
Strange, this drowning man, his lips are not cold, but hot. So hot that her lips trembles softly with his.
Jane gives him several mouth-to-mouth breaths, and finally he spits and coughs loudly. "Hot, so hot..."
Joseph Alcock is not conscious, but he feels hot and full of unexplained sexual desires, which he can not control. He feels soft lips on his lips, and it sets his blood on fire.
He knows that he has been drugged, and the strong need to break his self-control, this sweet kiss is undoubtedly the final catalyst.
When the soft lips are again on his lips, he suddenly reaches out and grabs the woman in front of him and kisses her fiercely.
"No..." By the time Jane realizes the danger, it is obviously too late. His arms draws in and he radiates unusual heat that threatens to melt her with him.
She knows something is wrong with him, like he'd been drugged. She fights hard, but she is weak under his force. It is over for her, she knows now what it gonna happen next...
"I'll take responsibility of it." At the end of his sanity, he says.
With that, he follows with an even crazier kiss. He bites her lip so that she can not speak. She struggles hard but can not shake him down.
