Chapter 55 Art Exhibition
Brandon's expression remained indifferent as he raised his hand, towering over her at a height of almost two meters, making it impossible for her to reach him.
He carefully examined the bottle and couldn't help feeling a little disappointed.
"Vitamin E?"
He thought it was something else.
Victoria tried to hide her panic and snatched the bottle back.
"Hey, I just need some vitamin E to enhance my figure."
Brandon glanced at her figure and said in a calm tone, "It's fine, your size is quite suitable." After speaking, he turned his back to her.
Victoria was stunned, her face blushing uncontrollably. What was he looking at?
But at least he didn't think about the bottle anymore, which was good...
She couldn't help feeling a little scared. Fortunately, when the doctor prescribed the medicine, he prescribed progesterone and vitamin E for her to take care of the pregnancy. She was worried that he would see it, so she put both medicines in one bottle.
She didn't expect this man to be so despicable, using a beauty trap to get close to her while still thinking about her medicine bottle. He really was a cunning capitalist. He looked at her with a smile. "But what were you trying to do just now? Were you trying to kiss me?"
Victoria's face suddenly turned red, but she saw him leisurely bend his ink-colored pupils into a smile, which was refreshing and pleasing to the eye.
He looked much better when he smiled than when he had a straight face.
"No, no, you misunderstood. I was just, I was just thinking about something and accidentally leaned over."
It was an obvious lie, but it made Brandon feel inexplicably better.
He gave her a teasing glance and walked out with a smirk. The next day, Victoria saw a message from Heidi inviting her to an art exhibition. Although Victoria was studying architecture, she was also interested in art exhibitions and agreed to go.
Brandon was in a good mood today and asked, "Where's Victoria?"
"She went to see an art exhibition with a friend," was the reply.
Brandon thought to himself that he had just warned her to be careful of Fernando's schemes, and now she was running around again. "Eh, young miss is still young after all, it's the age to play around," Elijah chuckled.
Brandon pondered for a moment and decided not to worry about her going out.
Meanwhile, Victoria had arrived at the exhibition center with Heidi and felt something was off. "You don't even like art exhibitions, why are you here?"
"For you, my dear friend. You like art exhibitions, so I came to accompany you. What's wrong with that?" Heidi replied.
Victoria narrowed her eyes and said, "Heidi, speak plainly."
"Uh..." Victoria knew her too well, so Heidi had to stutter, "Remember I told you about the guy I met on the plane who studies art?"
“Can't be, did you also make an appointment with him?”
“Yes, I just wanted you to help me take a look... Oh, wait, don't come over, I'm afraid he'll get shy.”
Victoria finally understood.
“You want me to help you cover up, so your dad won't ask you questions, right?”
“Heidi, you really know me so well.”
“Okay, enough talking, tell me about him.”
“It's nothing much, he's a painter named Felix, just graduated, but his family isn't well-off. I'm worried my dad will say something about social status or something. It's just dating, not marriage. I don't want to think too much about it.”
Victoria sighed and watched as Heidi contacted the man and ran off on their date.
From afar, Heidi looked unusually girlish, cuddling and chatting with the man who was handsome and neatly dressed. Victoria watched and sighed, realizing she didn't want to be a third wheel, and went inside to see the exhibition.
As she looked around, she suddenly heard someone screaming, followed by a commotion.
Victoria looked over and was amazed.
It was the great painter Grayson.
He was her favorite painter. “Grayson, Grayson.”
She also ran out with a surprised look on her face. Grayson heard the shout and looked up to greet everyone. At that moment, someone accidentally pushed Victoria and she fell down right in front of Grayson in a sprawling mess. Grayson was a little stunned, but then he lowered his head and saw her little face looking up at him. He couldn't help but think that he had seen her somewhere before.
"Ah, I'm sorry," Victoria said, looking helpless.
It was her first time meeting her idol, and she had embarrassed herself like this. She felt like a failure.
Grayson was a little stunned at first, but then he smiled and reached out his hand to her. Victoria was startled, but she quickly shook his hand and stood up.
"Be careful next time," he said with a smile, before walking away.
After a while, Victoria was still in a daze of admiration. Her idol was so gentle...
With this incident, Victoria left the art exhibition feeling light and airy. But as soon as she stepped outside, she suddenly saw a familiar man standing with another man, whispering something suspiciously. Upon closer inspection, it was Heidi's boyfriend, Felix. And the man he was meeting with, Victoria also felt familiar, but couldn't quite remember where she had seen him before.
Victoria had just wanted to capture the scene and study it later, but in the blink of an eye, the two people had disappeared. She had no choice but to take a taxi home. As she sat in the car, Victoria suddenly remembered something. The man she had seen seemed to be an employee of Universe, and he had been around Fernando before. What a coincidence that Felix knew someone from Universe!
Heidi quickly messaged her, "Are you home? I just finished my date, but I couldn't find you." Victoria didn't know what to say as she looked at Heidi's joyful message. "I'm home now. By the way, how much do you know about Felix?"
"What's wrong?" Heidi asked.
"Nothing, I just think that if you haven't been in a relationship before, you should be careful not to be deceived. Especially if his family background is different from yours, there may be some barriers. You should get to know him well before you start dating, understand?"
"Don't worry, I haven't told him about my family situation. He thinks I come from an average family," Heidi replied.
Victoria thought to herself, maybe she was overthinking things. If Heidi didn't know about her wealthy background, it could just be a coincidence.
