Chapter 111 Patient to the fullest
Victoria nodded again.
He basically saw everything, what else is there to guess?
Dylan couldn't imagine that the Griffin Family didn't say that she married a vegetable.
But Brandon...
He suddenly thought that there was no news from Brandon for a year before. Could it be that he was the vegetable, but now he woke up?
Dylan's expression changed, looking at Victoria, feeling very complicated.
If the Griffin Family knew...
"Also, can we not tell the Griffin Family about this?"
"Why?" Lu Xijue didn't understand. If they told the Griffin Family, they might accuse Victoria.
"As you saw, my relationship with him is very complicated... Now he doesn't believe me at all. I know it's because I did lie before, but this person is too stubborn... He's not willing to listen to me. I'm afraid that we will divorce soon, so... If we tell the Griffin Family, it will only make things more complicated and may affect my divorce."
Hearing that she was going to divorce, Dylan didn't know what feeling rose in his heart. Was it relief, or a bit of luck?
After all, she used to like him so much, but now her man is the high and mighty Brandon.
Looking at her expression, he could only nod faintly, "Okay, then take care of yourself."
"Thank you."
Victoria still thanked him earnestly. In the hospital.
As Brandon walked in, Diana's face once again showed discomfort.
Lisa, who was waiting patiently on the side, snorted and asked, "What are you going to do with Victoria? Have you decided to divorce her?"
Upon hearing the word "divorce," Diana couldn't help but look up with a hint of longing.
Lisa added, "Don't think you can just lightly brush this off. We won't let it go until you give us an explanation."
Brandon looked at them coldly and said, "I also aborted the child in Victoria's belly. Is that enough of an explanation?"
What?
Lisa and Diana looked at this expressionless man in disbelief at the same time.
Usually, the coldness on his face and body only evoked awe, but now it had turned into fear.
He was so heartless towards his own child...
He said he would take care of the other expenses, hospital fees, and compensation, and he didn't want to hear anything about Victoria pushing them down the stairs again.
Diana was suddenly choked up and dared not say another word.
If he could kill his own child, what about her...
Victoria touched her belly at night and thought to herself, from now on, this would be her own child. She no longer believed in Brandon. He could just push her into the operating room, he was used to being the only one in control, and didn't expect any emotions that could move him. So, what she thought he had for her in the past was probably all fake.
At this moment, the door was slowly pushed open.
Brandon walked in.
Victoria quickly closed her eyes.
But he had already seen her.
He came to her bedside. "Are you asleep?"
Victoria didn't speak, but her eyes moved.
Brandon suddenly leaned in.
Their lips almost touched, and Victoria suddenly sat up.
Brandon looked at her with a faint smile, his eyes seeming to smile and not smile, letting Victoria know that he was deliberately playing with her. " Brandon, what are you still doing here? Your wish has been fulfilled, what else do you want?"
"I'm afraid you won't be taken care of well alone here, so I came to accompany you. How much have you eaten tonight? How's your mood?"
Victoria was furious, "If I killed the person closest to you, and then asked you how your mood was, what would you do?"
Brandon wasn't angry at all, "Okay, your mood will slowly get better. Are you hungry now? I'll have someone make you some supplements."
"No, I don't want anything, and I don't want to see you either," Victoria said angrily.
Brandon took a deep breath. "Okay, I'll be next door. You rest first, and I'll have someone bring you food."
He reached out and gently rubbed her hair, a gesture that would have been endearing if he hadn't pushed her into the operating room earlier that day. Victoria couldn't avoid his touch, and once he was done, he walked towards the door. Before leaving, he instructed the staff outside, "Prepare the best supplements for the young lady."
Victoria swallowed and looked at the supplements. She thought to herself that she was originally pregnant with twins and needed some supplements, but she was worried that Brandon was blindly giving her supplements. What if they made things worse?
She checked with the staff and told them what she liked and didn't like. The staff listened and quickly prepared the food.
Brandon listened to the report from the staff outside and realized that Victoria was feeling better since she was able to express her preferences. Although she was still upset, she was young and would eventually move on. The most important thing was for her to recover from the abortion, which was very harmful to her body.
After a few days, Victoria couldn't sit still anymore. She wasn't really going to observe the traditional postpartum confinement.
Brandon came every day, and even though she cursed at him, he refused to leave. He said he wanted to be there for her, and brought his work into her room, making her feel helpless.
Today was no different. After breakfast, he walked in as usual.
Victoria looked at him and said, "I don't want to stay here anymore."
Brandon frowned. "What happened? Did someone upset you?"
Victoria thought to herself, "It's you who upsets me." But she couldn't say that out loud.
"No, it's just that staying here is boring. I think I've recovered enough."
Boring, indeed.
"But they said you need to rest for a month," Brandon said.
"I'm not in confinement! Why do I need to rest for a month? Don't listen to the sanatorium staff. They just want your money. They'll be happy if you stay here for the rest of your life. I want to go out and live somewhere else. I also want to go back to work."
She seemed to make sense.
Brandon saw that she had good energy and thought that if she was in a good mood, she would recover faster. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Okay, we won't stay here anymore."
Victoria was surprised that he was so obedient.
Was it a man's guilt? Victoria didn't buy it. They soon moved back to the villa.
After seeing Victoria go to her room to sleep, Brandon looked up and instructed Elijah, "Find some fun places for us to relax. I'm planning to take Mrs. to unwind."
"Sure, it's important for women to go out and have fun. Gifts are also important. While you take Mrs. out, you can go shopping and buy her something nice," Elijah replied.
