Chapter 150 Zachary imprisoned her! In the name of love!

At noon, Victoria woke up.

She opened her eyes and could see Emily beside her.

Emily was wearing a light pink onesie, sleeping soundly in her arms, her features indescribably pleasing.

Victoria's eyes welled up with tears.

Just then, Emily woke up. She first cried softly, then probably caught Victoria's scent. Her little body turned towards Victoria, but being too small, she couldn't find Victoria.

Victoria was very weak, but she still turned to feed the child.

It was her first time being a mother, and her movements were awkward; she couldn't unbutton the onesie no matter how hard she tried.

Emily started crying loudly.

Her little face turned red.

A warm hand took her place, easily unbuttoning her onesie and opening it up.

Zachary's voice came from above, deep and gentle: "You've just started breastfeeding; it might be a bit painful!"

Victoria's face showed no expression.

She still didn't want to talk to him, aloof to his words.

She leaned over to bring Emily closer, and Emily , following her instincts, found her mother, holding onto her and greedily drinking Victoria's breast milk, struggling but content.

Victoria felt some pain, so she moved back a bit, but Emily immediately followed.

Emily was sucking vigorously!

Zachary didn't leave; he just stood by.

He watched his wife and daughter, feeling a wonderful sensation in his heart. He and Victoria were not just husband and wife but also Emily 's parents. Emily 's arrival seemed to dilute his previous resentment and calm his emotions.

At that moment, he wanted to be with Victoria forever.

Emily fell asleep after feeding.

She woke up in a daze, holding onto Victoria's breast milk for a while, repeatedly sucking on it before falling back asleep.

Zachary picked up the little one, patted her back to burp her, and then put her in the crib.

He was gentle, like a caring husband.

He said, "Are you hungry? Let me take you to freshen up and have something to eat! I've made chicken and salmon in the kitchen for you to regain your strength."

Victoria adjusted her clothes lightly.

Even in the warm spring-like bedroom, her weak body still felt a chill.

As Zachary went downstairs, Victoria stood by the floor-to-ceiling window in the living room, quietly watching the comings and goings outside, seeing the villa sealed off by the guards.

Zachary had confined her.

She looked down at her phone, which had no signal, and all the landlines in the villa were cut off. The house had become an isolated island, as Zachary, using his love for her as an excuse, imprisoned her both physically and mentally.

Zachary entered with a tray in hand.

At a glance, he saw Victoria standing by the window, wrapped in a thick shawl. She looked empty and frail, with no flesh on her bones.

Zachary placed the food on the table and said softly, "I know you're not in a good mood, but please eat a little! A nutritionist will take special care of you, and you'll recover soon."

Victoria didn't turn around, her voice soft. "Let me go!"

Zachary felt a pang in his heart.

He walked up behind her, picked her up, and sat her at the small dining table. Before he could speak, Victoria knocked over the bowl of chicken and salmon made by the servant.

The food dirtied Zachary's clothes.

But he didn't get angry; he even said gently, "Emily is sleeping, don't wake her up, okay?"

Victoria couldn't bear it anymore. She pushed Zachary away and walked to the window.

Her gaunt face was bloodless.

She pointed to the guards downstairs and the spilled food remnants on the floor and said with a bitter smile, "Zachary, you've imprisoned me! Why bother acting affectionate? You're insane, and I don't want to sacrifice myself for you!"

"Zachary, listen carefully; in this life and the next, I will never love you again

"In the past, I liked you

"Now, I don't want to see you for every second!"

Victoria finished, breathing heavily.

She even coughed up a bit of blood, showing her exhaustion and weakness.

Zachary tried to hug her, but Victoria refused to let him get any closer as she whispered, "Zachary, stay away! Don't you come over here!"

Her voice was full of exhaustion.

Without Zachary realizing it, Victoria suffered depression. Her family was broken, she had no family around her and she had no one to share her feelings. And her husband has her under house arrest mouthing off about making amends in the name of love. It's ridiculous!

The unsettled scene was under oppressive atmosphere.

They had their sweet moments in the past, but now they had reached to such an extent.

Victoria was being held captive by Zachary.

Whitney didn't know what to do. Lauren tried many ways, risking everything, but still couldn't see Victoria.

That's when she realized the extent of Zachary's power!

Victoria couldn't leave; she continued to be aloof towards Zachary.

Their marital discord was well-known in their circle.

A week later, Mrs. Sackler came to see Emily .

Emily was growing up fair and lovely, especially endearing.

Mrs. Sackler held her, looking at her features reminiscent of Victoria, and softly said, "Zachary, with so many guards outside, how long do you plan to keep her locked up? Until she gives in? Zachary, don't forget, Victoria is used to a pampered life; she won't compromise with you."

Zachary stood by the window, silently gazing outside.

As Mrs. Sackler played with Emily and spoke softly, "You're in your prime; you need a gentle and caring wife, and Emily needs a mother who can take care of her. Victoria can't even take care of herself right now."

Zachary knew what she was indicating, advising him to divorce and marry Claire.

Zachary didn't know how much he loved Victoria or how much of their relationship remained, but he didn't want their relationship to end so bleakly.

He spoke expressionlessly, "There's no need to say more."

He wouldn't divorce her!

Mrs. Sackler knew him well and mocked, "Zachary, you're a man. You have a company to run and children to take care of. Her had no feelings for you. How long can you hold on?"

Mrs. Sackler left, and the servant carried the child upstairs.

Zachary smoked a few cigarettes in the study before returning to the bedroom.

The bedroom was dimly lit, and Victoria, in a bathrobe, lay on the bed feeding Emily . He watched her from behind, her slender shoulders, dark hair spread on the snowy white pillow, showing no signs of having given birth.

Emily was full and lay peacefully in hes mother's arms.

Her pretty little face was serene.

Victoria gazed down at her, finding a moment of peace only when looking at Emily , feeling truly alive.

When Emily wasn't around, she would often drift into thoughts, only to snap out of it later, feeling scared.

Zachary had his own thoughts.

Mrs. Sackler's words had somewhat influenced him.

He was a normal man after all, and now, seeing Victoria in her bathrobe, half-revealed, slightly stirred him, making him want to hold her, not to make love, but to be close to her.

Zachary lay behind her, his thin lips brushing against her neck, warm breath spraying on her soft and sensitive earlobe.

Just like before, countless times of intimacy.

Victoria stiffened.

Women are sensitive; when men have sexual impulses, they can sense it when they approach.

Victoria avoided his touch, and said coldly, "Zachary, if you have physiological needs, you can find other women. I don't mind."

Zachary's pupils contracted.

She said he could find other women.

Zachary swallowed hard, then hoarsely said, "I just wanted to hold you. Do you really reject that too?"

Victoria said, "Yes."

But Zachary still held her close, trying to make her feel something.

But she was already disillusioned, with no expectations or desires towards him.

She felt nothing!

She felt no connection to him, no sensation from his touch.
