CHAPTER 17
"My God, maybe this is Jenn way of paying me back for cheating on her and I'm not even sure of leaving here alive. I messed up myself and it could cost me my life, this could be the thing that would cost me my life that Jenn was talking about, well I have resigned to fate and I hope I just find help." Kevin lamented painfully because he had given up on leaving there alive. Jenn was happy that she was paying Kevin back and at least making him feel what real pain meant. She had called Victoria and informed her of the latest development and how she was on her way back without Kevin.
"Hello Vick, I'm on my way back home with Kevin's car, he's stranded there and I don't give a damn about it although I feel that he might die there and I will feel guilty about it," Jenn said sounding very confused.
Aside from that fact, I didn't know about any other thing that I wanted at that very moment. The only thing that I could think about in this present situation, was how I'd be able to help myself.
"It's better he dies there though, not to worry, I don't think he would die there actually. Thank God you're safe my love, if you can not drive, I can send you any of my drivers to come pick you up and help you continue the journey because I know that you must be definitely weak my love, I wouldn't also want anything bad to happen to you." Victoria said passionately showing deep concern about Jenn's well-being.
"I'm okay Vick and I will get there soonest. I will drive my self back, thank you for the care and love you've been showing me, I really appreciate. I'm on my way already and I hope to get back home soonest because I'm already very much tired." Jenn said weakly.
"Phew. I blame Kevin for being so reprehensible and stupid, he had always been talking bad about you but you proved to be very different and great well, I just pray he dies there so that we can have peace and live the best life that we desire and want." Victoria sighed heavily as she spoke.
Without being told, I really needed to be cautious, to avoid creating more drama for myself.
All the mattered to me, was how I'd be able to get some things done, to avoid creating issues.
"It's just a matter of time Victoria and everything would be okay. Remember that what is meant to be will surely be so relax, I will be fine because I got this. I'm equally using goggle map to track my way down because I don't even know the road that I came with." Jenn told Victoria while laughing at her self. She found it extremely funny that she couldn't even locate and remember the way that she came from.
At this point in time, I just couldn't think about any other thing, aside from the best thing that I'd do to save the situation.
One thing that was really provoking me about the whole thing, was the situation of things because it was pissing me off.
"Thank you for assuring me Jenn, I would leave you to focus and drive, please make sure you drive extremely carefully because I want nothing to happen to you. I will be calling you from time to time to know about your progress in your journey." Victoria said happily to Jenn who was grateful that she had kept in touch with her.
"Alright Vick, I'm safe already and hopefully, the rest of the journey would be smooth and safe. I would definitely be careful with my driving." Jenn said excitedly and Victoria hung up immediately. Jane was excited that she had paid back Kevin in her own little way but she was also scared that Kevin could die or get harmed and she might not actually get over the guilt and shame.
He really deserved any bad treatment that I gave to him, as his character was just very bad.
Kevin was apparently scared because it was getting to night fall and he didn't have the hope of leaving there so he decided to try his luck by starting Jenn's car and fortunately enough, the car's engine ignited and the car started immediately and began to move. Kevin began driving and was also praying that he would get to at least where people habited before the car would break down again.
Jenn had continued driving her car back home and as usual, she spoke with Victoria at intervals. Jenn kept driving and through the help of goggle map, she found her way home very tired and exhausted. She immediately took a cold bath so that she could relax her nerves and cool off a bit before anything else. She had informed Victoria about her successful arrival and thanked her profusely for keeping up with her almost through out the journey.
"Hello Vick, I got home now and I'm very much grateful for the good company you gave me throughout the time I was on the way, I'm super grateful." Jenn appreciated it gratefully.
"Ohh my love, you don't cease to amaze me, I love you and I want you to be safe at all times with out having any issues or being in danger. Well, thank God you arrived safely, I was getting worried because it was getting late already and I was really scared." Victoria said passionately because she really cared Jenn so much.
"Thank you, Vick, I'm safe now and all grateful to you because you were my major source of inspiration. I'm grateful that I have people like you in my life, once again, thank you for all you've been doing for me Vick, I'm super grateful and I owe you many my love." Jenn spoke as she assured Victoria of reciprocating her kindness to her someday.
