CHAPTER 186
"Koda it is a pleasure to finally meet you. We need to have a man to man talk" I told him seriously.
"Yes, sir." Koda said. Now I could hear the worry in his voice.
You know your mate is very special?" I asked him.
"Yes, sir. She will one day be like her mother a great healer." Koda said.
"That is true, but you know that you will also as her mate become a healer as well?"
"Really?" He asked.
"Koda I did not always look as I do; I used to look a lot like you actually. But as Sasha and I became closer and mated, I became like her. As she changed I changed. But you know I would never change one minute of it if given the chance." I told him.
So Jennifer will start to change with the markings and the funky hair as we grow together I will too?" He asked.
"Exactly, what is your feeling on that, you can be honest with me." I told him.
"Well it is a bit scary, but It is also very cool. Jennifer is my mate, I love her. What ever will changes that happen does not matter, I want to grow with her and look after her. I know I'm older than her by four years but that does not matter. The Goddess gave her to me as my mate, and I will treasure every moment we have together." Koda said.  I liked this boy he was truthful and I could feel the live he had for Jennifer.
"Things will not always be easy," I told him.
"I'm willing to walk every step by Jennifer's side, good and touch. I'm honored that I'm her mate."
"Just come to me if you need any advice," I said.
"Sir, I don't know what I'm supposed to call you?" Koda said.
"You can Just call me Quin, Koda. We are not formal at home with names unless there are visitors."  I told him, I saw him smile.
"Quin, I think what you did to Alpha John was hilarious. No one has ever dared to stand up to him. He is a bully." Koda said.
"You will soon learn how we deal with men like him." I said.
"Do you really know the Lycan King?" He asked.
"Yes, he is Jennifer's god father. Koda you do know that when you and Jennifer have your mating ceremony you will then be prince Koda?" I asked him.
"I never even thought of that," Koda said.
We talked small talk the rest of the way home I really did like this young man. We went through dad’s pack then through the mist to the castle when we parked the truck Jennifer was already running to wards us, Sasha walking not far behind. We got out of the truck and when Sasha got to me I hugged her and kissed her cheek. Jennifer and Koda were locked in a long hug.
"I like this young man," I whispered to Sasha.
"I thought you were going to scare him," Sasha said. I laughed.
"No I did that to Alpha John of the Bloodmoon moon pack. I'm calling in any of his loans and sending to the council that he is a threat to the Royal family." I told her.
"Did you see his parents?" Sasha asked.
"Nope I stayed at the gate of the pack and had Koda come to me." I told her as I took her hand and walked with her to the castle after making sure Koda and Jennifer were following us.

NANCY'S POV

The pups were down for their nap, Sussie had a couple of friends helping he make food for the BBQ in the kitchen. I took the baby monitor down to my office in the house. We had everything moved over when we moved to the house yesterday. I looked around at everything it would take me a week at least to get it back in order. I saw the box I was looking for and pulled out my lock box that had all my keys in it. I unlocked one if my filing cabinets and went to the back of the files pulling out the folder for the restaurant. I took the folder and slowly opened it. I sat looking at all the pictures of the staff. I finally put them down and looked for the number for the Restaurant Inspector.  After a few minutes I found it and got out my phone.
My office phone had not been hooked up yet.
I punched in the numbers and put it on speaker while I waited for Thomas Burns to answer.
"Thomas Burns office how may I help you?" I woman asked.
"Hi, I was wondering if Thomas was available to take an important call?" I asked.
"Who is calling please?" She asked.
"Tell him it is Nancy, he will know who I am.," I told her.
"One moment please." The woman said and put me on hold.  I waited almost ten minutes and was about to hang up when I heard the phone being taken off hold.
"Nancy, sorry to keep you waiting so long I was on another call, and they kept wanting to argue about their licence suspension." Thomas said.
"That bad," I said. Remembering what a stickler he was for regulations. I never had any issues, but I heard lots of complaints about him.
"You know how it is. What can I do for you my dear girl?" He asked. I explained about the problems we had been having, and what our suspension were.
"What time can you meet me and take me to the packs to inspect this equipment." Thomas asked.
"Thomas, if I bring you here you......." he cut me off.
"Nancy I know the rules, I would never breath a word to anyone, or have you forgotten you can trust me?" Thomas asked.
"No, but I had to say it anyway," I told him.
"Where do you want me to meet you and what time? " he asked.
"If you come early I will cook you breakfast in my new kitchen in my new house." I said.
"Your cooking, you got a deal just give me the time and place" Thomas said.
"Seven am. There is a truck stop just past colins Rd. I will meet you there." I told him.
"Deal, I can't wait to meet your mate, and yes I remember proper werewolf edict. He said laughing. I hung up feeling much better Thomas knew his way around anything. He would be able to give us answers. I phoned Jaxson and told him the plan, then I linked Tyson to see where he was. He said he was just going into winery one. I told him I would meet him there. Then I checked on the girls they said they would listen for the pups.
I put on my boots and went to the winery to meet up with Tyson and Lance. Tyson and Lance were at one of the vats. As I walked up to them I heard their conversation.
