CHAPTER 187
"How many times have you had a problem with it?" Tyson asked.
"Just twice, but after what happened I thought I should bring to your attention, hi Nancy." Lance said.
"Hi, Lance, Tyson, Thomas the inspector will be here tomorrow and will inspect everything we have. He has the same suspension we do." I said.
"What time is he coming?" Tyson asked.
"I'm picking him up at seven am. It will be a long day he is going to inspect both packs." I told him.
"He is not going to fine us is he?" Lance asked.
"No, he is checking everything as a favor to me, and I have to cook him breakfast and probably lunch too." I told him.
"I hate to admit this Nancy but I'm sure glad you are a third partner in this." Tyson said.
"I knew you would come around eventually," I told him.
"What are you taking to meet him?" Tyson asked as we walked out of the winery.
"Your new truck of course." I told Tyson.
"I have not even broke it in yet," he teased.
"All the more reason I should take it for a good drive on the highway." I said.
"Maybe I should come with you," Tyson said.
"That would be a great Idea, I'm glad you thought of it," I said smiling.
"Nancy you just tricked me into picking up this guy!" Tyson said laughing.
"I did no such thing, you just volunteered to drive, because you don't want me driving your new truck." I said smirking.
"What do you have on the agenda for me today?" Tyson asked taking my hand as we walked to the house.
"I need my office phone in, and I need you to help me cook for the BBQ tonight." I told him.
"Your such a slave driver," Tyson said. We both started laughing.  But stopped instantly when there was an explosion coming from the direction of Jaxson’s pack. We both ran to the truck and flew down the back road to Jaxson’s.

SASHA'S POV

We all sat down to dinner, Jennifer now had dinner with the adult. Koda was being quiet. But I noticed he kept looking at Nole and Bre. Then at Quin and me. I did not blame him, we looked like a bunch of side show performers. With our markings and multicolored hair. He saw I caught him looking and turned red.
"Feel free to ask any questions Koda," I told him.
"I was just wondering does your brother have the same powers as you do?" Koda asked.
"Hell, no. Sasha can keep those," Nole laughed.
"So only the female children get the powers, and they pass it to their mates and then their female children. So, if Nole has girls will the have the powers?" Koda asked.
"Yes it is possible, I got mine from my father." I told him.
"Sorry I just find this really interesting. I hope I'm not being rude." Koda said.
"Not at all, after all you and Jennifer will go through quite a transformation the day of your mating ceremony." I told them both.
"Mom, do we have to talk about that over dinner?" Jennifer asked.
"We are not talking about "that" as you call it. We are talking how you will change and unlock mire of your abilities. " I told her.
"Umm, Sasha is it true you broke both of Lucas’s legs?" Koda asked. I looked at Quin and Lucas.
"Did you tell him everything I did because I had no one to help me control my abilities?" I asked annoyed.
"Not everything," Lucas said. I picked up my half-eaten roll and threw it at him. Both Quin and Lucas laughed. Koda was smiling.
"I like this family; you are a lot of fun." He said. It made me wonder, we were just being regular people. After dinner we let Koda and Jennifer go for a walk with a warrior as a chaperone. 

JAXSON'S POV

I was out in the fields making sure the wonderful rain did not hurt the crops when I heard an explosion. I linked my forehead right away.
"What happened, did another vat ruptured?" I asked in the link.
"No that did not come from here everything is fine." Alpha he said
There was another explosion.
"What the hell is that?" I asked him.
"I'm standing outside Alpha it came from the mountain behind us just off of pack lands.
I closed the link and headed for my truck.
Just as I reached my tuck Tyson came into view. He stopped the truck and Nancy and Tyson jumped out, worry written all over their faces.
"It is not from here. It is up in the mountain behind me." I told them.
Nancy pulled out her phone called someone and put it on speaker.
"I was just going to call Tyson, what happened?" Colt asked.
"Dad is the mountain behind Jaxson’s still pack lands?" She asked.
"That and one hundred miles of the other side of it, why? Is that where the explosions are coming from?" Colt asked. There was another explosion.
"Yes. Nancy yelled into the phone.
"I'm sending scouts, I will get back to you." Colt told her and hung up.
"What is going on?" I asked.
"Someone is trespassing on pack land again." Nancy said.
"What do you mean again?" I asked.
"About twenty or so years ago the city thought to put a road through the mountain. I guess we are going to have to get Hart and Hart to deal with them this time." Nancy said.
"Who are they?" Jaxson asked.
"Top Lawyers in the country, and Dr. Leigh's brothers and sister." Tyson said.
"Wait, Orson's law firm?" I asked.
"Yah, that's them" Nancy said.
"How many kids did they have?" I asked.
"Thirteen, I believe the youngest just had her coming-of-age celebration." Nancy said.
"How do you know so much about them?" I asked Nancy.
"Leigh is their aunt, and we talk." Nancy told me. Nancy's phone rang as we were getting coffee in my office she put it on speaker.
"Hi Dad, is it the city again?" She asked.
"Wish it was, someone is mining on my mountain. We have to go up and stop them." Colt said.
"Why would they be mining the mountain?" Tyson asked before I could.
"They think, the mines have been abandoned. I'm going up there to stop them." Colt said.
"Wait you have mines in the mountain?" I asked confused.
"Nancy you tell them, I'm heading up feel free to join Nancy knows the way," Colt said and hung up. We both looked at Nancy.
"How do you think my dad has so much money, our family has owned a coal mine for generations. It has not been mined for a long time. Some human must have found it. Come on I will sow you. Hopefully they have not blasted deep enough to find all our machinery." Nancy told us. Tyson and I looked at her shocked. We took Tyson's truck and drove up into the mountain on roads that we never knew existed.
