Chapter 513 Execution!

Chapter 513 Execution!

Most of the people in Sorrowful Springs Village were the elderly, women, and children, completely defenseless against the threat.

Now, the giant python's gaping maw was devouring everything in its path.

These tiny humans had become nothing more than a delicious meal.

Gradually, their so-called faith was replaced by fear. The survivors began to regret and cry.

"This isn't the Witch God! It's a demon, a complete monster!"

"Mom, Mom, don't leave me!"

"Help! I'm the Witch God's most loyal servant, how could you...!"

After swallowing about ten people, the python's previous sedation had mostly worn off. It flicked its tongue.

With a menacing glare, it slithered towards Ash and the others.

Its sinister eyes seemed to say: Struggle, fear, you're next!

Ash swallowed hard, his forehead drenched in cold sweat.

This was the Triangle Region, not their own country. They couldn't act recklessly with every plant and tree.

Even though this monster had already killed countless people!

Ash's face was solemn as he loaded another bullet, turning to the group.

"We have three more tranquilizer darts. They should buy us some time."

"Get back to the camp quickly and guide the reinforcements!"

But things didn't go as planned.

The moment the tranquilizer dart was fired, the python seemed to sense it and dodged nimbly.

Now there was only one dart left!

If they missed again, they would all die here!

Ash's hand holding the gun began to tremble slightly, as if carrying a thousand-pound burden.

"Leonard, did you bring my bag?"

In the midst of the crisis, Aurora suddenly spoke up, and everyone turned to look at her.

Leonard hesitated for a moment, then handed the backpack to Aurora, explaining slowly.

"I brought it, but it seems like you only have clothes in there, no weapons."

Originally, Leonard had brought Aurora's backpack to handle her affairs in case something happened to her.

Now, the small backpack was proving to be incredibly useful!

Under everyone's gaze, Aurora dumped the contents of her backpack.

Clothes, makeup, and various trinkets spilled out, but most importantly, there were three black, stick-like objects.

Looking at her treasures, Aurora nodded in satisfaction and extended her hand to Leonard.

"Do you smoke? Give me a lighter."

Leonard blinked and shook his head slightly. "I don't smoke, maybe Ash does?"

That sounded a bit odd.

Ash felt a strange sensation but didn't say anything, quickly tossing the lighter to Aurora.

While the python was busy devouring people, Aurora lit one of the sticks with the lighter.

Thick smoke billowed from the stick, filling the air with a pungent smell.

Leonard and Ash instinctively covered their noses and mouths.

"What is this? Why does it smell so bad?"

"This is disulfide arsenic," Aurora paused, then continued, "Snakes are terrified of this stuff!"

"I brought some along just in case while filming in the mountains, and now it's coming in handy."

As soon as she finished speaking, Aurora nimbly climbed a tall banyan tree.

The python had already swallowed many people, its belly bulging, coiled up digesting its meal.

In a flash, Aurora seized the moment, holding the stick, and leaped from the tree branch.

Her full weight landed squarely on the python's belly.

A desperate scream echoed in the air as the python was caught off guard by Aurora's attack.

Its body writhed, its tail thrashing.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Aurora shoved the disulfide arsenic-coated stick into the python's mouth, hitting the mark perfectly!

The disulfide arsenic's scent continuously irritated the python, causing it to shake its head and try to escape.

Aurora, a small figure, sat atop the massive python, holding the stick like a tiny warrior.

"We need to help her!" Leonard's expression grew more serious.

"Ordinary disulfide arsenic is effective against snakes, but for a monster like this, it won't be enough."

"If this continues, Aurora will be in serious trouble!"

Ash realized this too. He looked at his tranquilizer gun and spoke in a low voice.

"You go ahead, I'll see if I can get this dart into the python's body!"

"This time, once the python goes down, we'll rush in and attack, giving it no chance to recover!"

A loud bang signaled the bullet hitting its target.

The python's tongue was pierced, the bullet creating a hole as it passed through.

The python's eyes dimmed, as if severely injured.

But snakes are resilient creatures, and even injured, they can still move!

Suddenly, a shout reached Aurora's ears.

"Aurora, throw down what you're holding and take cover!"

Before she could identify the voice, the sound of machine gun fire erupted.

In an instant, the once-mighty python was reduced to a lifeless husk.

A group of heavily armed officers surrounded the python, their faces expressionless as they pulled the triggers, bullets tearing through the python's body.

In mere seconds, the python was nothing but a dead mass, devoid of any nerve response.

In the blink of an eye, the scene shifted, the atmosphere turning jubilant.

"How about that?" Avril removed her hat, smiling at Aurora. "I must be the hero this time, right?"

"These officers, I brought them all!"

Leonard, desperate to save Aurora, had rushed over with two others upon hearing the news.

Meanwhile, Avril had stayed behind, waiting for reinforcements.

Unexpectedly, the reinforcements arrived just in time!

They swiftly cleared the battlefield, fighting their way to the scene!

Looking at Avril, Aurora's lips curled into a faint smile.

"It's okay, Avril. I'll remember everything you did today!"
