It was a two hour drive from the human world to Wolfenwood Pack.

Normally the ride usually takes two hours or more, but given how fast she was driving the car, it only took her less than two hours to get to the Pack.

Meanwhile, right beside her was Erica who was screaming her lungs out due to how recklessly Amelia was driving the car.

"Amelia, in the name of everything holy, just slow down the car, after all we have already gotten to the Pack," Erica said to Amelia.

"Well we have gotten to the Pack, but we haven't gotten to the palace, and Will you please stop screaming as if I'm going to crash the car," Amelia said to Erica.

"Well I will stop screaming the very moment you slow down, I don't even know why I followed you at the first place," Erica said to Amelia who turned and looked at her before scoffing angrily.

"Well thank goodness that I didn't ask you to follow me, and also if you were in my shoes, I'm very sure that you will be driving more recklessly than what I'm doing now," Amelia said to Erica who rolled her eyes. "But don't worry, I will make sure not get us killed," Amelia said to Erica as she increased the speed of the car not minding how Erica was screaming in fear.

Getting to the palace, Amelia was immediately blocked by the guards who were guarding the entrance of the palace.

Despite how she was honking at them, they didn't agree to open the gate of the palace unless they saw who was in the car.

Groaning in frustration, Amelia angrily got down from the car and in getting down, the guards who were walking towards the car to check who was inside widened their eyes in surprise.

"Your majesty, is that really you?" One of the guards asked Amelia.

"No it's not me, it's my ghost," Amelia said to him as she walked past leaving both the car and Erica who was inside behind.

"What are you guys waiting for, escort her inside," the guard said to two of his colleagues who nodded in reply before quickly joining Amelia.

"Your majesty, is there anything we can help you with?" One of guards asked Amelia as he got closer to her.

"Yes, where is the mating ceremony taking place?" Amelia asked him.

"Mating ceremony?" The guard asked Amelia with a confused tone as he turned and looked at his colleague.

"Yes or is there not a ceremony taking place in the palace right now?" Amelia asked the guard with a squinted brows.

"Yes but..."

"Then take me to the place where the ceremony is taking place," Amelia said to the guard not allowing him to finish what he wanted to say.

"Right away your majesty," the guard said to Amelia as he led herto the place where the ceremony was taking place.

Getting to place where the ceremony was taking place, the first thing Amelia noticed was the Pack members who had gathered around like when a mating ceremony is about to take place, and on the altar was Adrian and next to him was a young beautiful woman whom Amelia assumed was the shewolf Adrian wanted to mark as his mate and right beside her was a man Amelia has never seen before and Liam.

On seeing them, the first thought that came to Amelia's mind was to go back, after all, Erica has already told her the hard truth which is that it's already too late for her to get back with Adrian, she had her chance to get back with him since all this while but she kept on playing hard to get until Adrian found someone else.

After some minutes of hesitation, Amelia finally made up her mind and turned and began walking away, but before she could even get far, someone grabbed her hand from behind and pulled her back and on turning around, she saw Adrian who was staring at her with an amused look hovering over his face.

"So you came all this far just to go back without achieving what brought you?" Adrian asked Amelia with an amused tone.

"And what do you think is it that brought me here?" Amelia asked Adrian with a furrowed brows.

"Well why don't you tell me," Adrian said to her.

"Nothing brought me here," Amelia said to him as she folded her hands around her chest and looked away.

"Are you sure about that?" Adrian asked her with a squinted brows'

"Okay I admit, I came here to see you, are you happy now?" Amelia asked Adrian.

"Yes I'm happy, do you mind telling me why you came to see me, because the last thing that I checked, you asked me to look for another mate and move on with my life," Adrian said to Amelia.

"Ooh, so because I asked you to look for another mate, you went on and looked for another mate?" Amelia asked Adrian who smiled at her.

"And what exactly were you expecting me to do, not to listen to you?" Adrian asked her with a furrowed brows.

"Yes of course, is it everything that I ask you to do that you will do?" Amelia asked Adrian who furrowed his brows at her while smiling. "Would you have jumped into fire if I had asked you to?" Amelia asked Adrian who was still smiling.

"You are something else do you know that? Adrian asked Amelia with a smiling facial expression. "By the way, who told you that I have already found another mate?" Adrian asked Amelia.

"Wasn't that what you told Erica?" Amelia asked Adrian.

"Yeah, I told her that, but that was just to see if you really meant it when you told me to look for another mate," Adrian said to Amelia who furrowed her brows in confusion.

"Wait just a minute, so you haven't found another mate, then who is that..?" Amelia asked Adrian as she turned to look at the shewolf who she saw earlier beside Adrian and to her greatest surprise, she was now in the arms of the stranger who was beside Liam

"Ooh that's the mate of my best friend Derrick, she's a human though," Adrian said to Amelia.

"Ooh that's good, so that means you haven't found another mate?" Amelia asked Adrian with a happy tone.

"Not yet, but I'm still searching just as you instructed me to," Adrian said to Amelia who shot him an angry glare.

"Well I don't remember asking you to look for another mate," Amelia said to Adrian who smiled before shaking his head in disbelief.

"Well if that's the case, will you be my mate then," Adrian asked Amelia.

"If you ask nicely I will say yes," Amelia said to Adrian who sighed heavily before pulling her closer and claiming her lips in a passionate kiss before she could even react.

Amelia despite not expecting the kiss didn't hesitate to engage in the passionate kiss also.

"So what do you say?" Adrian asked her as they disengaged from the kiss.

"Yes I will be your mate," Amelia said to him while blushing.

"Perfect, come with me let me announce to the whole Pack that their Luna is back," Adrian said to Amelia as he took her hand and led her to the altar.

"Hey everyone, this is your Luna and my lovely mate," Adrian announced to the whole Pack members around before marking Amelia before them and with that the applause and the cheering of the Pack members filled the air.

As the whole Pack members, including Erica, Derick and his mate were all celebrating with Adrian and Amelia who were now the Alpha and the Luna of the Pack, Adrian and Amelia couldn't help but reminisce about everything they have been together but despite all that fate still brought them back together. It's true that they don't know what the future holds for them, but whatever it is, they will
surely go through it together like they have always done.
