Author's pov.

The door opened revealing Ella as she peeped inside the room. Agatha and Nova turned to her, their faces etched with curiosity.

“What do you want?” Nova asked as she exchanged glances at Agatha.

“Oh for the love of God” she scoffed as she walked in. “Don't act like I am a stranger to this plan” she rolled her eyes.

“We are sorry for leaving you out”. Agatha apologizes with a bow.

“That’s no problem, I had my own adventures” she revealed. “So what do you too both discuss in my absence?”

“Where did you go to?” Agatha locked eyes with her, suspicion contorted on her face.

“Oh no need to suspect me” Ella laughed. “I was filled with curiosity, I had to follow Darla” she revealed.

“So what did you find?” Agatha asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

“Sadly I didn't find anything”. She shrugged as her face fell in disappointment.

Nova scoffed as she turned to Agatha. “I told you there was a need trailing Darla or Athena, they wouldn't do anything funny after a hot session like that”. She smirked.

Agatha nodded in agreement.

“So what were you both talking about?” Ella asked again, darting her eyes from Agatha to Nova.

“Nothing much” Nova shrugged as she turned to go.

“Do you really trust a stranger more than you trust your mother's friend?” Ella frowned, her face contorted with a mixture of disappointment and disagreement.

“I don't trust anyone” she defended. “And I don't doubt your sincerity, but right now I don't think I want to take that risk”. She forced a faint smile.

“If you would like to know, our little alliance is not really built on trust but on mere instinct” Nova added.

“Very well”. Ella agreed reluctantly. “Athena would like to see you”. She revealed.

“Okay,” Agatha nodded her head as she exchanged understanding glances at Nova.

“Are you okay?” Nova asked, her voice laced with concern. “Do you want to take a break for a little longer?”

Agatha nodded in disagreement as she stared at the window. “It is almost dawn” she revealed with a sigh.

“I understand,” Nova said, her lips curled into a reassuring smile.

“Okay, we need to go” Ella interrupted. “Now” she snapped.

“I will give you all the details later” Nova turned to Ella. “You just have to trust us”.

Agatha nodded as she led the way to the meeting hall, her mind clouded with confused thoughts as she wondered what Athena could be up to and what event would unfold in the meeting hall.

Agatha halted at the door as she halted placing her hands on the door knob. “This is for you mother”. She muttered as she took in deep breaths, she pushed the door open.

The witches in the meeting hall turned to Agatha as she walked in, Nova and Ella trailed behind. The hall was filled with silence, one would think there was no one in the hall.

Athena sat at the front, her mouth etched with a smirk as she stared coldly at Agatha.

“I am here”. Agatha said as she stood in front.

“We may proceed” one of the witches in the front seat shouted.

“On the case of Dominic,” Athena stood up. “Years back, black witches emerged from the lowlife witches, who bent to the will of the werewolves…” she paused as she glanced around, her face suddenly flickered to anger as she locked eyes with Nova.

“Pretty sure that's not the story” Nova nodded her head in disagreement. “The witches har their own rule, in fact, all the three clans were never in agreement or disagreement, they all minded their businesses”. She corrected, and the whole meeting hall turned to the uproar as they all nodded in agreement.

“Forgive me” Athena forced a smile as she smoldered at Nova. “I must have had it all mixed up” she bowed. “If I may…” she was interrupted by Nova.

“Apology accepted” Nova shouted.

Agatha turned to Nova, and as she nodded her head in disbelief, her lips curled into a faint smirk, Nova turned to her with a wink.

“Thank you, Nova” Athena forced a smile as she turned to Agatha. “Like I was saying, the black witches have been underestimated, if it wasn't for us there wouldn't be rogues in the first place, if it wasn't for us, those helpless wolves would have vanished from history, we helped them people who they are…” Nova cut her short.

“Our ancestors were rascals, they cause a war and raised an army of pain in the ass” she muttered loudly.

Athena frowned as she turned to Nova. “You would not interrupt me again” she warned, her voice laced with venom.

“Oh please” Nova rolled her eyes. “I thought there was freedom of speech but anyway please this meeting wasn't to recall memories… so if you don't mind, some people have other things to do” she scoffed.

“Nova please behave yourself” an old man cautioned her.

“Fine then, since we have more important things to do, I would get to the point…” she paused turning back to Agatha. “You have failed” she bolted out.

“Failed?” Agatha scoffed. “On what?  ,Not getting the killer of my Mom?”

“No” Athena replied coldly. “You have failed in making Dominic your own”. She revealed.

Agatha flickered her eyes to Nova as they exchanged understanding glances. “Why do you care about my relationship?” She scoffed.

“The coven entrusted you to tame him”. She eyed. “You were supposed to be the Luna and harness the power over the wolves” she snapped.

“Well if you think it is easy to do that…” she paused. “Why don't you do it?” She shrugged.

The meeting hall became noisy.

“You don't need to tell us” Athena replied. “We have already replaced you”. She revealed.

“With who?” Agatha scoffed as she feigned ignorance.

“Darla” she bolted out.

“I couldn't get to Dominic, do you think Darla can win his heart, now that his first love is already in the pack?” Agatha scoffed as she nodded her head in disbelief.

“You mean Kristen, don't worry we have a little gift for her”. She reassured her as her lips curled into a mischievous smirk.

“What do you mean?” Agatha's brows furrowed in curiosity.

“We would initiate Kristen into our cult” she revealed.
