Chapter 176 Hollowing Out

Chapter 176 Hollowing Out

Bianca was hospitalized again, and Terrence stayed by her side throughout.

This time, Terrence hardly let Bianca lift a finger—he even fed her meals himself.

When Jasmine came to visit Terrence, her gaze kept shifting.

Seeing Jasmine like that, Bianca cleared her throat lightly. "What are you thinking about?"

Jasmine looked a bit embarrassed.

"I... what could I be thinking? Just that you two are so lovey-dovey."

To her, it was almost too sweet to watch.

But with Terrence there, she did not dare say more, and in the end could only shrug her shoulders.

"Well, I'll head back to school now. Bianca, you two carry on being sweet." After mustering the courage to say this, Jasmine stole a glance at Terrence. Seeing he was not displeased, she secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

It seemed that in front of Bianca, even the notoriously intimidating Terrence would soften his demeanor.

Bianca naturally would not force anyone to stay and watch their affection. After they said goodbye, as soon as Jasmine pulled open the hospital room door, Donny was walking toward her.

Jasmine jumped in fright and instinctively stepped back. She lost her balance and nearly fell.

"Are you okay!" Donny instinctively reached out and grabbed her hand. With a tug, they bumped into each other.

Jasmine immediately stepped back from his embrace and waved her hands hurriedly. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm so sorry..."

As she waved her arms, the bell on her bracelet gave a clear chime, immediately catching Donny's attention. He happened to see the crescent-shaped birthmark on her arm, but it was only for a moment—Jasmine had already lowered her arm.

Donny frowned slightly.

"You..." That familiar sensation rose again. He wanted to ask, but Jasmine had already walked past him. As they brushed past each other, he caught a faint trace of floral scent from her.

"Sorry, Terrence. I have something to take care of. I'll come see Bianca again later," Donny said.

As soon as he stepped out of the room, he found that Jasmine had already disappeared. The fragrance at his nose seemed like just a coincidence.

Something stirred faintly in Donny's heart.

"What are you looking at?" Terrence's voice came from behind.

Donny turned around and said with a smile, "Nothing. Just that Jasmine seems very familiar. We might have met before."

"Either you've met, or you haven't. What's with this 'might have'?"

Terrence, who seldom rolled his eyes, thought he was just making conversation for no reason.

Only then did Donny walk into the room.

"Bianca, are you okay?"

There was a big fruit basket at the bedside.

Bianca shook her head and looked at the heavy dark circles under Donny's eyes. "You still can't sleep well lately?"

Donny rubbed his forehead.

"I really haven't been sleeping well, and I keep having nightmares."

"Maybe you should seriously look into that suggestion I made before."

Donny had wanted to say it was impossible, but suddenly thought of something and nodded.

"Bianca, I understand. Thank you for your concern."

Terrence wrapped his arms around Bianca, his tone impatient. "It's your lucky day that Bianca cares about you. If there's nothing else, you can leave now."

"Terrence, are you jealous?" Donny asked seriously, and sure enough, he saw Terrence's expression turn a bit strange.

He immediately got the message.

He really was jealous.

Fortunately, Donny did not stay long. After visiting, he left.

In his car, he thought for a moment, made a phone call, and slowly drove away from the hospital.

"Donny, why did you suddenly want to have coffee with me?"

The woman across from him had delicate features and dressed elegantly. When she saw Donny, she immediately linked her arm through his, teasing him with a smile.

"Nothing special. I was just thinking about how you saved me in that accident. I've forgotten some details. Could you tell me again?"

The woman's expression stiffened slightly, but she quickly smiled. "Of course. That was the first time we met. I'd want to remember it forever. How could you forget?"

The two sat down, and as the woman recounted the story, Donny's gaze remained deep and thoughtful.

"The sleep aid essential oil you gave me last time ran out. Could you give me another bottle?" The woman agreed without hesitation, not noticing anything unusual in his tone.

Bianca did not have much peace in her hospital room.

Glenn and Thea arrived.

As soon as they entered, Thea dropped to her knees with a thud, kneeling firmly in front of Bianca.

Bianca looked at them, her expression cold.

"What do you want?"

"Bianca, your sister did not mean to hurt you. She just took a wrong turn for a moment. Please let her go."

A cold smile tugged at the corner of Bianca's lips.

"If I remember correctly, you said the same thing last time. Unfortunately, that is not what I saw."

Thea kept shaking her head.

"But you cannot really send her to prison. If she did something wrong, let me handle it! I promise I'll send her abroad and never let her appear in front of you again."

"Bianca."

Thea crawled over and grabbed Bianca's trouser leg, about to continue.

Glenn coughed behind her. "Bianca, she's your sister after all. You're family."

"My mother only gave birth to one daughter—me. Where did this sister come from? Mr. Rodriguez, you must be joking."

"Bianca, I'm your father. How can you say such things?"

Glenn's face looked terrible.

Thea still would not let go of Bianca's trouser leg.

Terrence watched the two of them making a scene, his expression instantly darkening. He said coldly, "You two are disturbing my wife's rest. Please leave immediately."

Bianca's words might not carry weight, but Terrence's words absolutely did.

Thea continued pleading, but Glenn's attitude became more humble.

"Mr. Anderson, I'm Bianca's father. I'm just trying to guide my daughter, aren't I?"

Terrence's lips twitched slightly as he said coldly, "Guide? My wife needs you to guide her?"

Glenn forced a strained smile. He wanted to say something, but could not get the words out. In the end, he could only stammer, "But she is my daughter after all..."

"Mr. Rodriguez, if you have time, you should pay more attention to your company. Otherwise, someone might hollow it out, and you will not even know."

Bianca suddenly spoke. Glenn was clearly stunned, not understanding.

Then he heard Bianca say with a smile, "After all, Mr. Rodriguez, your company is about to be hollowed out."
