Chapter 166 Mr. Anderson Doesn’t Care
"Mr. Anderson..." Barry started to say something, but with Bianca right there, he couldn't speak directly.
Terrence frowned tightly and said without hesitation, "Take Bianca to the hospital first."
Bianca's head lowered slightly, a hint of a smile appearing at the corner of her mouth.
Perfect!
As long as she kept Terrence by her side, nothing would happen to him.
After all, it was just a scheme.
Terrence picked up Bianca and carried her straight downstairs. Seeing this, Barry hurriedly followed behind them.
At the hospital.
Bianca lay in bed holding Terrence's hand. Terrence sat beside her, looking at her anxiously. "Are you okay now?"
Bianca pretended to be delicate, reaching up to gently touch her own forehead. "Terrence, I'm fine now, but... did I suddenly drag you away and affect your work?"
Terrence shook his head without hesitation.
"How could that be? You're the most important."
He helped Bianca lie down after speaking.
Bianca felt secretly pleased, but Barry walked in from outside the room. After exchanging glances with Terrence, they both understood what it meant.
Terrence told Bianca to stay in the room for now while he went out with Barry.
Barry took out his phone. "Mr. Anderson, this was sent by them. I just received it downstairs at the company. They said it's... Mrs. Anderson's severed finger."
Normally, Barry would have found Terrence right away.
But Mrs. Anderson had been with Mr. Anderson at the time, and Mr. Anderson had left so quickly that he could only follow behind.
In the suburbs, inside a warehouse, Blair's eyes were full of tears as she looked at several burly men across from her.
Her hand was carelessly wrapped up, but it was still bleeding.
Seeing those burly men approaching, Blair curled up even more.
The men exchanged glances and said with disdain.
"Is this... really Terrence's woman? She doesn't look like it to me. Would Terrence actually be interested in a woman like this?"
"I checked it out. It's definitely her. Plenty of people know Blair's name."
They talked among themselves while Blair couldn't help trembling.
Looking up at these men who clearly looked like bad guys, and hearing their conversation, Blair quickly said.
"It's not me! Really not me!"
"I don't even know Terrence. You've got the wrong person."
Her words didn't convince them. Instead, they looked at her with cruel, bloodthirsty eyes, then burst into laughter.
"Looks like Terrence's woman isn't much. Look, I haven't even laid a finger on her and she's already about to cry."
Surrounded by the men's mocking laughter, Blair's hatred for Bianca deepened.
Why!
Why wasn't it Bianca here? Why did she have to take the fall for Bianca?
It should be Bianca here!
"Terrence."
Bianca walked out of the hospital room and immediately saw what Barry was holding.
Now, Terrence couldn't hide it even if he wanted to.
Then she saw Bianca walk over in a few steps.
"Terrence, are you going to keep hiding this from me?"
Barry looked at both Terrence and Bianca, finally deciding he should listen to what Bianca had to say.
He silently handed over what he was holding.
"Mrs. Anderson."
With just one glance, Bianca could tell it was Blair's severed finger, because Blair had a small mole on her fingertip that she'd known about since childhood.
Under Bianca's gaze, Terrence felt somewhat helpless.
"Bianca, I'll handle this. Don't worry."
Bianca reached up to touch her forehead. "Terrence, my head still hurts so much. Come stay with me in the room for a while, okay?"
Terrence quickly picked Bianca up and carried her to the bed. After putting her down, he gestured for Barry to leave quickly.
Then Bianca grabbed Terrence's hand, unwilling to let him go.
Terrence was truly helpless but could only do as Bianca asked.
Actually, while Terrence was peeling fruit, Bianca took out her phone and sent Barry a message directly.
[Bianca: Barry, what did the letter say? Take a photo and send it to me.]
Barry was speechless.
How could he dare tell Mrs. Anderson about this?
Otherwise, Mr. Anderson would give him trouble.
Just as he was trying his best to pretend he hadn't seen it, he saw Bianca send another message.
[Bianca: They must want to use this to threaten Terrence. I'm Terrence's wife—would I harm Terrence?]
Barry thought about it and realized that it made sense.
And if Mr. Anderson really got threatened and went over there, wouldn't something bad happen right away?
So Barry took a photo and sent it to Bianca.
After looking at it, Bianca understood.
It really was Blair, and the letter was a plea for help written by Blair.
Probably the people who kidnapped Blair thought Blair was Terrence's woman.
In other words, Blair was taking her place.
Since it was Blair, Bianca naturally couldn't care less.
She just needed to keep Terrence at the hospital.
Terrence was peeling an apple when he looked up and saw Bianca staring at her phone with a silly smile. As soon as he stood up, Bianca immediately turned her phone over.
"Bianca, your head doesn't hurt anymore?" Terrence asked.
Bianca immediately reached up to cover her own head.
"I don't know what's wrong with this head of mine. It just keeps hurting so much..."
Terrence's mouth twitched. He could tell at a glance that Bianca was acting.
And it seemed Bianca knew something.
Terrence stared at her steadily. Bianca seemed to have something on her mind and buried her head directly into the blanket.
When she lifted the blanket again, she saw that Terrence's face was already very close.
When their eyes met, Terrence suddenly said, "I'm staying at the hospital to keep you company. Shouldn't you give me some kind of reward?"
Bianca coughed. "I'm your wife. Of course, you have to take care of me. Until my head gets better, you absolutely cannot leave, understand?"
Bianca put her hands on her hips with a righteous look.
Terrence knew there must be something he didn't know about, but in front of Bianca, he still nodded.
"Okay, I'll stay with you until your headache is better."
Hearing this, Bianca finally relaxed.
On the other side, after Barry sent the photo of the blood letter to Bianca, he put the matter aside.
It was just Blair—how could she possibly deserve to have Mr. Anderson rescue her? That was overestimating Blair's place in Mr. Anderson's heart.
In fact, Blair had no place at all.
Even if she died right in front of Terrence, he probably wouldn't even bat an eye.
The only person who could make Terrence anxious was Bianca.
Somehow, Bianca gradually fell asleep.
When she opened her eyes again, she saw Terrence keeping watch by the bed, staring at her intently.
A smile appeared on Bianca's face, her heart naturally full of sweetness.
