Chapter 159 Have You Been to Sanctuary of Peace Church?
"Mrs. Anderson, you're already very young," Jasmine said sweetly.
Yasmin was delighted to be flattered. "You really know how to make me happy. I'm already this old, how could I still be young?"
"Grandma, you're not old at all."
Bianca quickly chimed in without hesitation.
The two took turns flattering her, while Terrence stood by without saying a word, as if he had nothing to say.
Actually, he just didn't want anyone else taking Bianca's attention away. He wanted Bianca to focus entirely on pleasing him.
What a shame, though.
He could compete with others, but he couldn't exactly compete with Yasmin for attention, could he?
When Yasmin left, she was still holding Jasmine's hand.
"Jasmine, come visit me again when you have time. I'm old and bothersome."
When Yasmin said this, Jasmine naturally couldn't really think that way.
She said a few more flattering words before seeing Yasmin off.
But as soon as Yasmin left, Terrence completely changed. He sat down next to Bianca and just stared at Jasmine without saying anything, which put immense pressure on her.
Jasmine shifted slightly, trying not to show it.
She sighed quietly to herself.
"Terrence, why don't you go upstairs? I need to talk to Jasmine for a bit."
Bianca directly sent him away. Jasmine thought Terrence would be unhappy, but surprisingly, his demeanor remained quite gentle.
"Okay."
Jasmine quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
As long as Terrence didn't kick her out, everything else didn't matter.
After all, with Bianca around, Terrence was her brother-in-law and wouldn't do anything to her.
After Terrence went upstairs, Bianca's image kept appearing in his mind, and he couldn't help wanting to go downstairs to see her.
But every time he got halfway down, he could see Bianca smiling and chatting with Jasmine, so he could only quietly go back up.
If he went down so eagerly, Bianca would laugh at him.
Just then, Terrence suddenly received a phone call.
He hurried downstairs. Bianca was about to tell Terrence to go back up and handle his work when she heard him say proudly, "A friend is coming to see me."
That proud look was practically saying, "I'm really not trying to come see you on purpose, I really have something to do!"
Bianca watched as Terrence rushed out and slowly raised her eyebrows.
Even if a friend was coming, he could just have a servant bring them in. What kind of friend was important enough for Terrence to personally go out and greet them?
"Bianca, I feel like Terrence doesn't really like me being close to you. He looks like he wants to tear me apart."
After Terrence left, Jasmine whispered to Bianca.
Bianca raised her eyebrows slightly.
"Really, really. But this also shows that Terrence truly likes you. Otherwise, he wouldn't have such a strong possessiveness."
"High possessiveness isn't a good thing. When you like someone, you should give them enough freedom."
Bianca corrected Jasmine's way of thinking.
Jasmine nodded, naturally listening to what Bianca said.
Then Bianca asked Jasmine another question.
"Jasmine, do you want to enter the entertainment industry?"
Jasmine froze, instinctively looking at Bianca, wondering why she would suddenly ask this question.
"Why... why do you ask?"
Bianca could tell at a glance that Jasmine was hesitating, as if she had something hidden in her heart.
"You can speak directly about anything, you can tell me everything."
Bianca asked carefully.
Then they heard two sets of footsteps coming from outside the door. Terrence walked in with a man, one in front of the other.
The man behind him was handsome. Bianca recognized him at a glance as Donny, also a good friend of Terrence's.
Donny had been walking in expressionlessly with Terrence, the two occasionally exchanging a word or two.
But when he walked in and saw Bianca and Jasmine, Donny's steps suddenly stopped.
Terrence noticed Donny had stopped moving behind him and immediately stopped, looking back curiously.
But Donny involuntarily walked toward Bianca and Jasmine.
Jasmine moved closer to Bianca, a bit scared.
What was this man coming over for?
"Hello, may I ask you, have you ever been to the Sanctuary of Peace Church outside the city?"
Donny's brows were tightly furrowed. When he asked this question, his eyes fixed on Jasmine, as if he had to get an answer from her.
Jasmine couldn't help but shudder and shrank into Bianca's arms.
Seeing this, Donny became even more aggressive. "Is this question that hard to answer? Have you been there or not?"
Bianca's brows instantly furrowed, and her impression of Donny dropped to rock bottom.
Why was he asking this?
"Mr. Dickson." Bianca interrupted Donny's intention to continue questioning, saying coldly, "If I remember correctly, you already have a fiancée, so there's no need to question other women and cause trouble for others."
Donny was about to speak when Terrence stopped him.
"Didn't you say you had something to discuss with me? Let's go upstairs first."
Donny wanted to say something, but Terrence's meaning was clear.
Come upstairs with him right now, or leave.
Donny's gaze lingered deeply on Jasmine, a blurry memory flashing through his mind, his heart stirring.
He was only thinking that when he came back down, Jasmine would still be here, and then he could ask her properly.
Terrence and Donny went upstairs and sat across from each other. Terrence crossed his arms and asked, "What's going on? Do you know Jasmine?"
Jasmine.
Donny's lips seemed to still hold that name.
But he shook his head at Terrence. "It's nothing, I'll handle it myself."
After the two went upstairs, Bianca noticed that Jasmine's emotions seemed off.
"What's wrong?" She looked down and asked Jasmine seriously.
But Jasmine shook her head. "I... I'm fine."
When Donny came down from upstairs and wanted to find Jasmine, he discovered she had already left.
He frowned. "Bianca, that girl just now?"
Bianca leaned back on the sofa, looking up at him. "I thought I made myself very clear just now. You have a fiancée, so you shouldn't have any extra relationships with other women. What's more, Jasmine isn't the type to play around with others."
Jasmine clearly didn't want any relationship with Donny, so Bianca naturally wanted to protect her.
Donny wanted to say something, but Terrence had already walked over to Bianca's side, so he could only swallow his words to avoid offending both of them.
"I understand, thank you."
But as he left, his steps were a bit unsteady, his head hanging down slightly, lost in thought.
After he left, Terrence rested his chin on Bianca's shoulder.
"Honey, don't be angry."
Bianca wasn't really angry and shrugged.
