Chapter 158 Jasmine’s Visit
Chapter 158 Jasmine’s Visit
When Terrence climaxed, Bianca had long since run out of energy. She lay lazily on the bed with her arm draped over Terrence's shoulder.
Yet Terrence seemed to feel it still wasn't quite enough. Leaning against Bianca, he asked with a smile, "What's wrong? You think I didn't take good enough care of you?"
Bianca sighed helplessly.
She really didn't need this kind of "care."
She coughed and, facing Terrence's aggressive gaze, sighed before saying, "Enough, enough. How could it not be enough? You took the best care of me!"
Terrence was clearly somewhat unhappy, seeming to want to "take care of" Bianca some more. It took a lot of coaxing from Bianca to calm him down.
By the time they came out of the bedroom, it was almost noon. Bianca sat lazily on the sofa while Terrence personally poured water and brought it to her, also bringing some fruit for Bianca to eat while watching TV shows.
"Bianca, I came to visit you, but the security guard wouldn't let me in."
Bianca suddenly received a call from Jasmine and had the household staff go out to meet her. When Jasmine came in, she happened to see Terrence feeding a piece of fruit to Bianca's mouth.
Terrence, who was usually cold to everyone and rarely showed any warmth, was actually like this with Bianca. Jasmine had never seen it before—even when she'd heard about it, she hadn't dared believe it.
She couldn't help but widen her eyes.
Was Bianca really that amazing?
Seeing Jasmine's gaze fixed on Bianca, Terrence was clearly displeased and looked over with a sidelong glance.
When that icy stare landed on Jasmine, she couldn't help but shiver.
This was terrifying!
This was the Terrence she remembered, not like just now when he seemed like a complete wife-doting fool.
Bianca naturally noticed Terrence's unfriendly look at Jasmine and patted him. "Go upstairs. Don't you still have work to handle? I'll talk with Jasmine for a bit."
Terrence clearly didn't want to, but Bianca spoke so seriously, and she was still a patient. Plus, she'd just satisfied him—if he didn't leave now, Bianca would probably get angry.
Terrence left reluctantly.
Watching his departing back, Jasmine had the strange feeling that she'd gotten on someone's bad side.
"Bianca, Mr. Anderson treats you so well."
Jasmine couldn't help exclaiming. Terrence, who had already left, heard this, and a smile appeared in his eyes. Jasmine had finally said something he liked to hear!
Otherwise, he really would have held a grudge against Jasmine!
Bianca offered the fruit in her hand to Jasmine. "Want some? Terrence cut them himself."
Thinking of how Terrence had looked earlier, Jasmine's hand trembled slightly as she picked up the fruit. This was just too unbelievable.
After taking the fruit, Jasmine tasted it. Whether the fruit was naturally sweet or sweet because Terrence had cut it, her eyes instantly lit up.
"Sweet! It's really sweet!"
Bianca smiled, her eyes crinkling into crescents.
After eating several pieces, Jasmine finally remembered to ask about Bianca's condition.
"Bianca, how are you feeling? I've been worried the whole time, but I haven't had a chance to visit you."
Jasmine looked Bianca up and down, her gaze suddenly landing on Bianca's neck, where there was a small reddish mark. She found it odd and leaned closer, but Bianca dodged backward and covered her neck with her hand.
Jasmine blinked. "Bianca, what's wrong?"
Bianca quickly shook her head.
"Nothing, nothing. Nothing's wrong."
"Is your neck injured?" Jasmine suddenly said with certainty, then tried to lean in closer again.
How could Bianca not know—when she and Terrence had made love upstairs earlier, it had been so intense that some marks were left on her neck.
She hadn't expected Jasmine to come, so she hadn't thought to cover them up.
She'd just gotten out of the hospital and was still recovering—if Jasmine saw them, how embarrassing!
Seeing Bianca keep covering up, Jasmine seemed to understand what it was. Her face suddenly turned red, and she quickly sat back down, no longer trying to look at the love bite on Bianca's neck.
How could Bianca not know that Jasmine had probably figured it out?
She coughed awkwardly.
"Um, well, I'm fine. I'm recovering at home, and someone's taking care of me anyway, so don't worry."
A few servants walked by here and there, all greeting Bianca with their heads lowered when they saw her.
Seeing how respectful they were, Jasmine nodded.
"Bianca, I heard that servants in these wealthy households often bully people. I'm glad they're not bullying you."
Bianca looked at the departing servants' backs with a half-smile. They might have wanted to bully her before, but unfortunately, no one would dare do anything like that now.
She chatted with Jasmine for a bit longer, then asked Jasmine to stay for dinner.
Jasmine naturally didn't want to leave Bianca, so she agreed right away.
So.
Terrence had thought it would be just him and Bianca for the evening, but who knew there would be Jasmine at dinner, and then Yasmin came over too.
But with Yasmin and Terrence there, Jasmine remained somewhat nervous and uncomfortable, eating quietly without daring to say much.
Yasmin was older, so naturally she couldn't hang out with the younger generation. Terrence just had a naturally cold face.
Bianca knew Jasmine would probably feel awkward, so she focused on serving her food.
Once or twice was fine, but as it happened more and more, Terrence's gaze was practically glued to her utensils.
Every time she moved, Terrence would follow with his eyes.
Bianca blinked hard.
This...
"Bianca, you don't need to worry about me. I can serve myself."
Jasmine was very self-aware. After noticing waves of cold air coming at her, she quickly figured out the reason.
After saying this, she carefully glanced at Terrence and sure enough saw him nod with satisfaction.
Bianca turned and glared hard at Terrence.
Terrence pressed his lips together and sighed somewhat helplessly.
He silently withdrew his gaze, but after this, Jasmine didn't dare let Bianca serve her food anymore.
After dinner, the servants quickly cleared away all the dishes. Yasmin didn't leave either, but sat with Bianca for a while.
Bianca sat with Yasmin on her left and Jasmine on her right.
Jasmine was timid, but very good at winning over elders. After just a few words, Yasmin was laughing happily.
"This is so nice. Hearing you talk about things at school makes me feel young again."
