Chapter 286 Raise the Bow and Aim at Isabella
Isabella looked at Yasmin and said calmly, "It's fine, I'm confident."
After speaking, she lifted her chin, glanced at the target 150 meters away, and gave Kismet a cold look. "We can both hit the bullseye at 100 meters, so there's no point comparing. How about we shoot at the 150-meter target instead?"
Kismet had the same idea. The 100-meter target couldn't determine a winner anymore, so they might as well switch to the 150-meter target.
She wanted to show Isabella her true skills!
Although it was only 50 meters farther, the 150-meter target looked like barely a dot from this distance. Just hitting it at all would be difficult, let alone hitting the bullseye.
At this long distance, archery tested more than just technique—it relied heavily on the archer's instinct.
Isabella stood in position, aimed at the 150-meter target, and drew her bow.
Finnegan planned to use the same trick again—shoot down Isabella's arrow mid-flight.
Using arrows to hit moving objects was Finnegan's specialty. He'd loved hunting since childhood. Birds in the sky, fish in the water, rabbits running through the forest—none could escape his arrows.
Finnegan focused intently on Isabella's movements, ready to shoot down her arrow at any moment.
Isabella drew the bow tight, her hand on the arrow's tail, looking at the distant target. "Finnegan, you're so confident you can shoot down my arrow? I hope you won't miss this time either."
"I won't miss!" Finnegan said confidently.
Just then, Isabella's arrow flew out.
At the same moment, Finnegan also shot his arrow. Just when he thought his arrow would definitely hit Isabella's, something unexpected happened.
His arrow hit nothing but air.
The speed of Isabella's arrow was simply incredible. In what seemed like 0.0001 seconds, the arrow struck the target directly, and the target stand couldn't withstand the impact—the support frame below broke completely.
Finnegan hadn't even touched the tail of Isabella's arrow.
You have to understand, as an ancient martial arts professional, his reaction speed was very fast. In his eyes, an arrow's speed could be slowed down, which was why he could easily hit moving objects. But even so, he still couldn't see Isabella's arrow clearly, nor could he match her speed.
Finnegan's face darkened. He turned to look at Isabella. "How can your arrow be so fast?"
Not only fast, but the force was explosive too. The target stand was made from the finest wood and could withstand tremendous impact, yet it was broken by the force of a single arrow.
"Nothing is impossible," Isabella's voice was quite calm. "You're just not skilled enough."
Yasmin picked up the binoculars to look. Although the stand was broken, Isabella's arrow was still stuck in the target.
After Yasmin saw it clearly, a trace of disbelief flashed in her eyes. "It's... a bullseye."
At 150 meters, Isabella still hit the bullseye dead center!
Hearing this result, Kismet's face immediately became heavy.
She couldn't believe that the useless Finnegan had failed to intercept Isabella's arrow, allowing her to hit the bullseye.
Now she had to hit the bullseye too. If she was even slightly off, she would lose.
"Your turn." Isabella's eyes locked onto Kismet.
Kismet clenched her palms and looked at Isabella with disdain. "You think you're the only one who can hit the bullseye?"
She could do it too!
Kismet walked forward confidently, focused intently on the distant bullseye, and shot her arrow.
Then she looked at Yasmin. "Did you see clearly? What ring did I hit?"
Yasmin held up the binoculars, was silent for a moment, then said softly, "Seven rings..."
"How is that possible?"
Unwilling to accept it, Kismet snatched the binoculars from Yasmin. After seeing it clearly, Kismet immediately gritted her teeth.
She had actually lost!
Isabella was already prepared and went straight up to slap Kismet.
Kismet cried out in pain from the hit.
"Kismet!"
Seeing this, Finnegan immediately stepped forward to pull Isabella away, glaring at her viciously. "You dare hit my sister? Do you want to die?"
Isabella shook off Finnegan's hand and said coldly, "Didn't you say the winner gets to slap the loser? What? You can play but can't handle losing?"
"You!" Finnegan pointed at Isabella angrily, momentarily speechless.
"Since you can't handle it, I don't need to play with you anymore."
Isabella turned to leave.
Seeing this, Kismet's face changed. She rushed over and grabbed Isabella's collar, raising her hand to slap Isabella's face. "You bitch, you hit me and think you can just leave? I'll beat you to death!"
Isabella grabbed Kismet's wrist with one hand. Seeing her sudden rage, she found it amusing. "You're the one who wanted to play. You're the one who can't handle losing and used dirty tricks. You're the one who still couldn't win even after using underhanded methods. And now you're saying you'll beat me to death? What? Are all the Powell family people this domineering?"
After speaking, Isabella pushed Kismet away hard.
Finnegan immediately caught Kismet, then shouted at Isabella, "You outsider, how dare you! Get on your knees and apologize to Kismet now!"
He really didn't know where Isabella got the nerve to act so recklessly on the Powell family's territory.
She must kneel and apologize to Kismet!
Isabella looked at the two of them coldly and mocked, "Is your Kismet a queen or something? Why does she always like making people kneel to her? I won't kneel. What are you going to do about it?"
"Then you can just die!" A dark look flashed in Finnegan's eyes. The next second, he raised his hand and struck directly at Isabella.
Isabella raised her hand to block, but was still forced back dozens of steps.
She was forced to fight with Finnegan.
Every move Finnegan made carried killing intent—he wanted Isabella dead. Naturally, Isabella didn't hold back either.
"Finnegan, what are you doing?" Yasmin looked at the scene anxiously. "Stop fighting, both of you."
Finnegan couldn't hear Yasmin's words at all. He only wanted to teach this bitch a lesson for Kismet!
Finnegan seized an opportunity and reached straight for Isabella's throat, but Isabella blocked it with her elbow. Then he felt a sharp pain in his back—tremendous force seemed to penetrate his entire body.
Finnegan was hit so hard he bent over. Isabella raised her knee and struck his abdomen hard, then kicked Finnegan flying with one foot.
Finnegan crashed heavily in the distance, his internal organs hurting as if they'd shattered.
Finnegan couldn't move on the ground, blood uncontrollably coughing from his mouth.
"Isabella, you're looking for death!"
Flynn and Marshall saw this scene and were furious. They both flashed to Isabella's side and attacked her together.
What Isabella had just done to Finnegan—even if they beat her to death right here, it wouldn't be enough!
Yasmin watched the several people fighting and was extremely anxious. She was about to go call for help when the next second, she saw Kismet with a dark expression raising her bow and arrow, already aimed at Isabella.
