Chapter 219 Wraith Division
"Isabella, did you get a clear look at those three suspects?" the police officer asked in a low voice, looking at the girl across from him.
As the only witness at the scene, Isabella had been brought in for questioning.
"One of them was wearing a mask, and the other two were wearing black veils. But I pulled off that person's mask and saw that half his face looked like the skin had been torn off—pretty scary."
"As for the other two, they were both over 6 feet 1 inch tall. One of them was missing his left pinky finger. That's the one who shot at me."
"From their accents, they didn't sound like they were from Aquilonia. Probably came from somewhere else."
The officer quickly caught the key point. "So you saw one of their faces?"
Isabella nodded. "That's right."
"That makes things easier. Based on the features you described, we'll conduct a city-wide search. If any suspects turn up, we'll need you to help identify them."
"No problem."
Lumaria had very strict control over illegal firearms. In Lumaria, except for special personnel with gun permits—like people from certain government departments or law enforcement—no one else was allowed to carry guns.
Even if those three hadn't actually hurt anyone, once caught, they'd be sentenced to at least ten years in prison.

"Sorry, Ms. Taylor, our mission failed."
"What did you say!" Hearing the news from the other end of the phone, Bianca's expression changed completely. "Aren't you supposed to be top-tier assassins? How could you mess up such a simple job? I paid good money! That money can't just go to waste, can it?"
She simply couldn't understand—they'd made such a huge scene, even fired shots, and she'd thought Isabella was done for, but Isabella wasn't dead at all.
Wasn't this just playing her for a fool?
Tate frowned. He hadn't expected that seemingly unremarkable high school girl to be an ancient martial arts professional either.
But regardless, the mission had failed, and the fault was theirs. They'd taken the money to do the job, but they hadn't done it properly, and had made such a big mess of things.
"Sorry, Ms. Taylor." Tate tried to stay calm. "The gap between our skills and hers was too large. The reason for this failure really is on us."
"What?" Bianca wondered if she'd heard wrong. "Your skills aren't even as good as hers? Aren't you trained assassins? Haven't you killed many people?"
So how could you possibly not beat Isabella?
Isabella was clearly just an eighteen-year-old girl without any strength!
"It seems you don't really know that girl's background either." Tate said bluntly. "She's not some ordinary person at all. She's an ancient martial arts professional. Her explosive power and speed are far beyond ours, so she's not easy to deal with."
"How is that possible?" Bianca felt like her whole world had been shaken.
Isabella was an ancient martial arts professional? Was this some kind of joke? How had she not noticed at all?
Wait...
Actually, there had been signs.
Bianca suddenly remembered some things. Before, when Gabriel had argued with Isabella, Isabella had kicked him out of the room with one foot—that force had definitely been unusual.
And she'd heard that Elizabeth had once hired a famous group of thugs near the school to deal with Isabella, but that matter had come to nothing.
And there was that man she'd arranged to go into Isabella's room, who'd been beaten up badly by Isabella and tied up.
Thinking of all this, Bianca's expression darkened completely.
She really hadn't expected Isabella to have such abilities.
"So what now? You promised you'd get rid of her for me."
Tate thought for a moment, then said in a deep voice, "Ms. Taylor, we were indeed careless this time. We didn't expect there would be ancient martial arts professionals in Lumaria. But we have rules in our business—once we take the deposit, we'll eliminate the target no matter what it takes. So rest assured, we naturally have other methods."
"What methods?"
Tate pondered for a moment before speaking. "We know other assassins. Just because we can't kill someone doesn't mean other assassins can't either. From this encounter, we've gotten a general sense of her abilities, so we'll hire someone whose martial skills far exceed hers to eliminate her. We just need time to find the right person for this job."
"How long will it take?"
"Within a week at the latest, you'll definitely hear news of her death."
Hearing this, a cold gleam appeared in Bianca's eyes. "Fine. No matter who you find, as long as you can get rid of her, I'll pay you the rest of the money in full."
"Don't worry, Ms. Taylor. This time, there absolutely won't be any accidents."
Tate hung up the phone, and Milo and Rhys immediately crowded around him. "Tate, who are we going to get to eliminate this high school girl?"
Tate narrowed his eyes, his expression somewhat serious as he spoke. "She really isn't easy to deal with. To be absolutely certain, getting Wraith Division to do this job would be the safest bet."
"Wraith Division" was a famous assassin team from Novaria, led by a man named Sean Gray.
When "Wraith Division" took action, failure wasn't possible.
"But Wraith Division is in Novaria. They probably won't come to Lumaria," Rhys said.
"If someone else asked them, they definitely wouldn't come. But because of something that happened before, Sean owes me a favor. He's a man of his word, so he probably won't refuse this request from me."
"But Sean leads an S-level assassin group. Their fees have never been low. Eighty thousand dollars would probably need to more than double. We'd be doing this job at a complete loss." Milo tried to persuade him. "Tate, I think we should just forget it. It's not worth making such a big fuss over one person. It's completely not worth the cost!"
"What do you know?" Tate shot him a glare and said angrily, "Rhys's face was seen by her. Even if we don't want to continue with this mission, we have no choice but to keep going. She has to die!"
"I fired that shot and already crossed the line. The Lumaria police are definitely searching for us now! If she doesn't die, the Lumaria police will eventually charge us with crimes. Once we become criminals wanted by Lumaria, even if we escape from Lumaria, their police will chase us relentlessly all over the world! Do you want to live a life on the run like that forever?"
After hearing this, Milo also realized the seriousness of the problem.
"Right, she has to die. As long as we can get Wraith Division to help, this matter will definitely be foolproof!"
"Of course." Tate's eyes were full of determination. "Even if she's an ancient martial arts professional, there's absolutely no way she could be a match for Wraith Division."
