Chapter 73 Crash
Quincy grinned mischievously, "We're all friends here. I get it, I understand everything. You don't need to explain!"
I'll just drop it.
It was clear that Quincy's misunderstanding had only deepened.
I could only look up at Willow, and was shocked to discover that she was holding hands with that man, getting ready to leave.
Seeing this, I instantly perked up.
I gave Quincy a look, and she immediately understood. She pulled out her phone and fiddled with it for a bit, then quickly gave me an OK gesture.
Only then did I relax and continue chatting casually with Atlas. After seeing Willow walk away, I stood up and said, "Let's go."
Seeing me stand, Atlas got up too.
When we reached the door, I said, "Quincy and I need to keep following Willow. What about you?"
"Of course, I need to stay close to protect you."
Atlas said this with a wicked grin. Seeing his expression, I knew there was no getting rid of him today.
"You can come along, but you have to follow my lead."
"Got it."
Atlas went straight to his flashy SUV.
After I got in the car, Quincy started driving and asked, "Aren't you going to tell me who this guy is?"
I pressed my lips together. "His name is Atlas."
"No way, he's Atlas?"
Quincy exclaimed dramatically, "No wonder he's been wearing a mask—he's afraid of being recognized. When did you get so close with someone like him?"
"Someone like him?"
I smacked my lips. "Quincy, what kind of person do you think Atlas is?"
"Obviously a womanizer, an irresponsible bad guy. You're no match for him. I'd advise you to stay away from him." Quincy said directly.
I shook my head. "We're just friends, nothing more."
"Stop right there. Don't give me that line. I saw the way he looked at you—like he wants to possess you. You might not have romantic feelings for him, but Atlas won't let you go."
"Don't tell me you've fallen for him too."
I took a deep breath. "No, I haven't."
"Then stay away from him, so Atlas doesn't lead you astray."
"Okay, I hear you. But we've known each other for a while now, and he's never done anything inappropriate. In fact, he's always helped me. Last time when his shipment had problems, he was the one who went with me to find the contract manufacturer."
As soon as I said this, Quincy slapped her own forehead.
"Oh no, Helena, you've really fallen for him."
"Don't say I didn't warn you—Atlas has a messy private life. You need to be careful getting close to him."
I laughed coldly. "No matter how messy Atlas's private life is, can it be messier than Knox's?"
At that, Quincy was speechless.
"That's true, but there have always been rumors about Atlas's messy private life, yet no one's ever seen him with any female companions."
I nodded. "His family situation is complicated. Maybe some things are deliberately shown to us."
"You're right, but still be careful. Men like that are best admired from afar, not played with up close."
"What are you saying?"
I laughed and playfully hit her. "Atlas and I really have nothing going on."
"Fine, fine, I believe you."
Just as Quincy finished speaking, a phone rang.
She answered, nodded, and said, "Okay, got it."
After hanging up, she said directly, "Let's go. I'll show you something exciting."
I asked, "Is it Willow?"
Quincy smiled mysteriously. "Yes. Willow really likes thrills—she's started having sex right in the car."
No way?
I covered my mouth in surprise. Couldn't she even wait to get to a hotel?
Soon, the car stopped on a busy street.
Quincy pointed to a black sedan at the end of the alley. "Right now, those two are going at it hot and heavy. What do we do next?"
Obviously, make this blow up—the bigger the better.
I looked around. There were quite a few food vendors on the street with crowds gathered around their stalls.
Seeing this, I immediately had a plan.
"Find a way to get these vendors to push their carts into the alley."
As soon as I said it, Quincy understood.
"Okay, watch me work."
She pulled out her phone and gave some instructions to the person on the other end.
Soon a siren sounded. "Quick, quick, the police are coming! Move your carts inside!"
Several helpful young people pushed the vendors' carts into the alley.
Through the alley lights, I could see the black car still rocking—the two inside were clearly in the heat of passion.
Soon, all the people buying snacks crowded into the alley, but Willow in the car remained oblivious.
Seeing this, I smiled and called Atlas. "See that black car across from you?"
Atlas replied casually, "Yeah, I see it. What about it?"
"Ram it!"
"What?"
Atlas sounded questioning on the other end.
"You heard me right. Ram it."
"Okay!"
As soon as I finished speaking, Atlas agreed decisively.
Soon, the roar of an engine sounded, followed by a loud crash. Willow's black sedan flipped over, white smoke immediately billowing from the hood.
The huge commotion caught everyone's attention. The people who had been eating and drinking were instantly drawn to the scene and unconsciously walked toward the car.
"There are still people in the car! Quick, get them out!"
After someone shouted this, everyone rushed over and flipped the car upright. After straightening it, someone opened the door, eager to pull the two people out.
But after seeing what was inside, they froze.
Willow and the man were disheveled, tangled together.
This discovery instantly excited the crowd. Many people pulled out their phones and started filming frantically.
"Stop filming! Stop it! What are you doing!"
Willow shouted as she crawled out of the car, holding her clothes to cover her chest with one hand while frantically trying to grab the phones from the onlookers.
Seeing the wound on her forehead bleeding, I kindly had Quincy call an ambulance for her.
"It's Mrs. Lockwood."
Atlas got out of his car and walked up to Willow. "Sorry, that was my mistake. Tell me what your damages are, and I'll transfer the money directly."
"It's you, Atlas!"
After recognizing Atlas, Willow ground her teeth in anger and shouted, "You did this on purpose!"
