"Hey, Mr. Smith, I'm here to talk business with you."
Bianca hadn't mentioned she was here to ask for his help.
She knew that for someone who valued profit, only interests could sway him.
Kade eyed Bianca with curiosity. "You wanna discuss a deal with me? Alright, spill it. What kind of deal do you have that makes you think you can talk to me?"
It wasn't that he underestimated the Johnson family.
The Johnson family had never been on his level. Now with the Johnson Group in constant turmoil, they were dealing with one issue after another, clearly spiraling down.
"Mr. Smith, James's trip abroad this time, isn't it related to Emily? Now that Emily's hooked up with Mr. Daniel Smith, she naturally looks down on James. But James, still clinging to past feelings, doesn't want to believe it, which is why this happened.

While Bianca eagerly awaited Kade's response, he suddenly laughed, though the smile didn't reach his eyes. "According to you, I could just go directly to Emily. As long as she doesn't care about James anymore, in a year or so, his feelings for her will fade. Then, with a little persuasion, James will come to his senses and marry a daughter from an equally prestigious family. These things are not a problem."
Bianca didn't expect Kade to be so blunt.

Bianca took a deep breath, her gaze seemed to change. She looked up calmly, meeting Kade's eyes. "Mr. Smith, you're being unreasonable. If you really think this way, don't blame me for being ruthless.
If I tell everyone that I'm pregnant with James's child, that he betrayed his former fiancée Emily and got together with me, and now doesn't want the kid, do you think Ascend Global Group will be affected because of him?"
Bianca grew more confident as she spoke.
She was indeed suited for doing bad things, every time she threatened someone, she was quite adept.
Kade's face was full of anger, his eyes coldly glaring at Bianca. "You're threatening me? You think I can be threatened? This trick will affect James. You're a woman who interfered in your sister's relationship. Do you think you can get away with it?

Bianca knew this was the best option for her.

Bianca assessed the situation calmly.
Kade's eyes narrowed sharply. "So, what’s your real reason for coming here today?"
"Honestly, the engagement and marriage with James can wait. I don't want to seem rude, Mr. Smith. I'm here because I need to discuss something important.
Hayden went to Zephyria for business and got kidnapped. The kidnappers are demanding a huge ransom before they'll let him go."
"How much are they asking for?"
Kade kept the conversation going.
Did Bianca expect the Smith family to pay the ransom? The Johnson family was dreaming.
Bianca sensed what Kade was thinking from his tone.
She explained, "They're asking for a hundred million dollars. Mr. Smith might think the Johnson family could scrape together that kind of money. We probably could, but we're worried that even if we pay, the kidnappers might not release Hayden and could even kill him."
"Just cut to the chase. What do you want me to do?"
Bianca didn't tell the whole truth; the Johnson family would struggle to raise a hundred million dollars.
But she didn't want Kade to know that. She didn't realize that by saying she was unwilling to pay the ransom, she exposed her cold-blooded nature.
Kade naturally wouldn't let such a heartless woman into the Smith family. If she did, she'd be the first to betray them in a crisis.
"Mr. Smith, there's no need to pretend you don't get it. I know the Smith family is powerful. You should have a way to find out Hayden's current situation and how to rescue him."
Kade truly didn't have that ability.
He wasn't lying. "I can't do anything. Daniel has the means. Why go far when you know Daniel has acknowledged Emily as his girlfriend?"
Bianca smiled bitterly. "Mr. Smith, you know Emily won't help after knowing what happened between James and me. Can you help by asking Mr. Daniel Smith to intervene?"
Kade was unwilling.
Not only did he lack the ability to persuade Daniel, but even if he had it, a woman like Bianca didn't deserve him to use such a favor.
"It looks like Daniel has refused. Sorry, once he decides, no one can change his mind. But I can offer you another option. Knox from the Green family, if he's willing to help, there's at least a seventy to eighty percent chance of rescuing Hayden."
"Mr. Green? Isn't he on par with Mr. Smith? But how can I find him?"
Bianca's mind raced as she hurriedly asked.
She thought of Emily hooking up with Daniel, making herself feel inferior to Emily. She was already unhappy. Now there was someone who could match Daniel, and she was naturally excited.
She didn't notice the gleam in Kade's eyes.
"I can tell you where to find him. Doing this should be considered pretty generous, right? You won't still think about exposing James online and hurting both of us, right?"
Kade's eyes were deep as he asked Bianca.
Bianca didn't really want to offend Kade, so she quickly nodded. "Mr. Smith, you're joking. We had a pleasant conversation today. I wouldn't do anything to harm the relationship between our families. I hope we can have more opportunities to cooperate in the future. Mr. Smith, I'll be leaving now."
Bianca didn't know much about Knox. She planned to go back and ask Eli and Aiden.
Kade saw her "eagerness," which only made him more disgusted, but he still smiled. "Glad you understand. I'll have the driver take you."
"Thank you, Mr. Smith." Bianca felt that accepting Kade's kindness meant today's matter was settled.
Little did she know, as soon as she left the Smith Villa.
Kade's expression changed immediately. He dialed a number. "Find someone to deal with the child in Bianca's womb!"
Dare to threaten him? She was asking for trouble!
