EPILOGUE
Three months later...

Evelyn

“Please be careful," I yelled while watching my pups run down the valley with the wind. Charles, Chase and Charlotte my divine. They jewels Sebastian and I decided to bring into our small world.

If someone had told me a day like this would come in my past life, I would have laughed them in the face and called them a liar.

But here I was enjoying the second chance of reality. I couldn't be more grateful to have such a blissful life with the man I love and three beautiful kids that will carry our names through generations.

They were the blessings I needed to start again.

Chase slipped and rolled down the hill, giving me a panic attack. Luckily, Sebastian was able to catch him on time.

I rushed down to them, leaving the cool tree shade that shelter our picnic basket and other things for a lunch outing.

“Is he alright?" I said breathlessly, panting from the running down a steep hill.

“Yes, he is." Sebastian linked one of his arms around my waist tucking me closer to him. “You shouldn't have ran like that. What if you got hurt?"

“I was only worried. You don't expect me not to jump when I see my son rolling down a steep valley. Also, when did you get here? And why didn't you let me know?" I narrowed my eyes at him. He flashed a sheepish grin at me and carried Chase into his arms.

“Wanted to surprise you. But I guess it got ruined before I could. Don't be mad, pretty please." He whispered like an adorable rebel.

I can't stay mad at this man forever. It's difficult not to forgive someone as kind and loyal to me.

After everything that we had been through, he still cherishes every moment I spent with him.

What more could I ask for when he gave my life meaning and purpose. Together we built a family enriched with love and happiness.

I know in the future things may get harder or worse. But with him, I can be assured of being able to succeed all hurdles.

My mind zoned back to reality, tuning in to my children's laughter. Sebastian had them giggling by making funny faces like that of a clown.

I loved him. I still do and will forever.

“Hey, kids who would love to eat some fruits? Mommy made special shapes today," I chimed getting their attention instantly.

They ran back to the picnic tree and sat patiently for us to get them.

“They grow up so fast," I muttered, looking at my sons as they played with their sister.

“It's only a matter of time for them to get stronger and bolder just like you." Sebastian pecked my cheek with a touch of admiration.

“I know they will. But, do you think anyone of them will inherit my divine powers? I had a dream last night. The future wasn't so clear to me. However, I have this feeling things will get tougher as they grow older." I expressed my concern, rubbing my arms gently to ease the tension that built up on my shoulders.

Sebastian unexpectedly scooped me into his arms and began to climb up the hill.

“At this time, all I want you to think about is the present. Enjoy the happy moments while it lasts. Of course, there will be tougher days. But there is nothing that cannot be shared with two heads. I am here for you, I will always be. So leave behind the things that bother you after all, you proved fate can't determine your story," he said, carefully crafting the words I wanted to hear.

If not for the fact that he was a man of his words, I won't have brought myself to let my guard down, to heed his advise and let go.

I cupped his face in my palm, stroking his cheeks gently with my thumb before I leaned in and kissed him.

We were about to deepwn it when we heard our kids scream at the top of their lungs.

“Ewww, Daddy let Mommy go," Charlotte screamed.

Chase and Charles were already heading towards us like fiery cannons.

“Mommy belongs to us Daddy. Stop trying to keep her to yourself. We want kisses too," Chase complained.

I burst out laughing but a certain someone didn't seem to take it funny because he instantly grew territorial.

“Well, before you two, I was her's and she is mine. Now run along and join your sister," Sebastian said with a possessive tone that didn't move the two chip heads in front of us. Instead it fueled their desire to claim what they wanted.

“Mommy, Daddy is being mean to us!" They chorused, sulking their lips in disapproval.

“Seba—"

“No, you are mine." He cut me off still being possessive.

After much persuasion, Sebastian let me down and I gave each of my kids their own share of kisses. They didn't hesitate to steal me away, leaving a grumpy Sebastian alone for him to find his way to the tree.

“I am being to rethink having children is a headache," Sebastian whispered, rubbing my arm gently.

They kids were now asleep, full from eating a lot of pineapples, apples, grapes and watermelons. Which I made them eat to get a lone time with my husband.

“Don't say that, they are the most adorable. You know they love you so much," I mumbled, making sure not to wake them up.

“I know they do. But they always still your attention from me. I can't even remember the last time we went on a single date together. They always tag along. Like this picnic, they ruined my plans," he grumbled, quietly.

“What plans?" I asked, curious of what he had in stock for me.

“I wanted to give you a good time and relieve you of all the stress you have been through this week. I know my Luna works extra hard for the pack these days and has less time for herself," he explained, surprising me of his observations.

“Well, we can have a quiet time if you want," I said, flashing my phone at him. “I knew you were up to something so I had their nanny on standby." I grinned sheepishly.

His chest rumbled with a low chuckle and I am captivated by it. I know I have heard him laugh almost all the time but whenever he chuckled with his voice so deep and low, it did crazy things to me.

“Shall we have our time together then?" He lifted me up from the ground and began to go the opposite direction towards the forest.

The kid's Nanny came over and took them under her care, giving us the chance to go away from our responsibility for a while.

Sebastian led us into the thick forest which caught my interest.

“So what are we going to do?" I broke the silence between us and he muttered,“Wait and see."

“But I am already curious. I can't wait. Tell me, please," I said with a needy voice but he remained adamant, determined to do what he had in mind.

He stopped at a clearing that opened to a beautiful lake. I gasped as the magical place came into my view. The lake glistened under the ray of translucent lights. Trees, waved gently hellos through the winds making the atmosphere feel more cozy and lively.

“This is so beautiful," I muttered awe. “When..." I trailed off as Sebastian goes down on one knee.

“I know we are married. But I never got to do this for you." He brings out a velvet black box and revealed a diamond ring.

My jaw dropped, dumbfounded by the scene playing before me. My heart pummeled, rushing like it was my first being confessed to.

“Evelyn Wolfe, my Queen and Luna. Will you do me the honors of being your husband for the rest of our lives, let me spoil you in the craziest way you can ever imagine, love you to the moon and back, make you happy and cherish every moment you spend in my life?" He recited with hopeful eyes.

My mouth muttered,“Yes." Before I could even think of it.

He smiled and slowly slipped the ring into my finger. “Thank you, my Queen," he said, standing up to his height.

“Thank you, my king. I love you."

“I love you, more my Queen." He captured his lips on mine, sealing our love for eternity.

The End.
