Chapter 45 ....
Chapter 45 ....
Ethan's pov.
"Are you sure that it is a good idea to be here?"
Selene asked for the hundredth time since I invited her to follow me to Isaiah's hang out.
We were inside my car now, in front of the restaurant where the hockey players always hang out after practice most evenings.
I cupped her cheeks in both my hands.
"I'm telling you again, that it is absolutely fine. You are with me, there's nothing to worry about."
It took a lot of convincing for her to dress up and follow me. After that mind blowing blow job she gave, I wasn't sure I'd be sane without her by my side.
Looking at her beautiful delicate eyes now, I wouldn't believe she would have given me the best blow job of my life.
She puffed her cheeks against my hand and let out some air.
"Okay, as long as Becca Flynn won't be inside, I can manage with the rest of the Jocks."
"She won't be inside, it's just the guys in there.”
I wasn't sure about that, I just hope I am right, Becca has been one of Isaiah's oldest friends.
She hung out with us most times, so I wasn't really sure.
We stepped out of the car and I held Selene's hand as we entered into the restaurant.
The first face that we saw was Becca's face and Selene did not hesitate to turn around.
She flashed me her angry face card.
"You told me she wouldn't be here." She hissed.
This is going to be a terrible hang out, I should have confirmed from Isaiah, I was just to excited to be with them and I wanted her to come along so bad, I had to convince her.
"Hey, look at me, you are already here. Let's just go to the table, I promise, I won't allow her say or do anything that would annoy you."
That seemed to calm her down a bit as he shoulders relaxed
She managed a smug smile for me, which is better than a cold frown, and we walked towards the table where Isaiah and the others sat.
We slapped hands in greeting and sat down.
Becca did not fail to cling to my side immersion I settled on the chair, her hands kept roaming over my body.
"I missed you." She said into my ears, licking my lobe
Selene shifted uneasily on the chair, she wasn't enjoying it one bit.
"Don't act like you care, Becca. I never got a single call or text from you."
She batted her lashes at me, acting hurt and innocent.
"You were the one that humiliated me in school, I wasn't sure you'd pick my calls."
There's no way I would, things were over between us already.
Selene touched my hands under the table.
"I'd really like to leave this place."
"Please, we just got here." I begged her.
I was still trying to convince her to stay for while when my arch nemesis showed up at the table.
"What's up guys? Sorry I'm late." Vale announced his provoking presence.
I gave Isaiah a hard look, he acted like he didn't know what I was trying to say.
I leaned over Selene so I can speak to him.
"You didn't tell me he'd be here."
"I said the team would be hanging out at our spot, he's part of the team." Isaiah clarified.
That's it, I'm leaving, Selene wanted to leave before so we might as well leave now.
"I didn't know you'd be here, I tried calling you." Vale said to Selene.
"I've been busy." She snapped.
Good, pay him no attention, why was he calling her in the first place?
Another chair was brought and Vale joined the table.
Becca moved away from me and without shame sat close to Vale.
"Can we go over somewhere to talk, privately?" Vale asked Selene.
Okay, I'm lost here, what the heck is going on.
"There's no need for that.”
Isaiah quickly intervened.
"You've got to forgive your man, Selene. He did nothing wrong, I think you acted out of jealousy."
"Jealousy?" I blurted out loud.
I looked at Selene who avoided my gaze, I need an explanation and I need it right now.
"What happened in school, Selene, is that why you've been down?"
"Your step sister hit me because I offered Vale a bottle of water." Becca explained.
"That's enough Becks, no need to reharsh it, we are all good ke, Selene and Vale will work things out."
Like hell they will, Selene, fighting because of Vale, that was so unlike her.
This dude has influenced her wrongly and I won't have it.
Becca slapped her hands on the table.
"I'm over it, it was just a minor misunderstanding, right, Selene?"
"Yeah, it was." Selene spoke softly.
I held myself from saying anything, so as not to disrupt the peace that finally settled.
We gave our orders and a drinks came with some fries and burgers.
I noticed Selene and Vale exchange nervous glances.
This was the stuff she told me she'd take care of, I actually thought that they weren't even a thing anymore after our first night together.
I stood up abruptly.
"We'd be going now, it's kind of late."
"Come on." The guys protested.
"When have you ever been the first to bounce out of an outing like this?"
"Selene doesn't like staying out late, right?" I used her as an excuse.
"Actually, I don't mind." she threw me off balance.
What in the world just happened there? She didn't want to come in the first place. Now she's insisting on staying because of what? Vale.
I sat down back. defeated.
"That's what I'm talking about." Isaiah cheered
He drummed his fingers on the table.
"Why don't we play our favourite game."
"Truth or dare." Becca screamed.
I rested my back on the chair, they can play if they want to, I'm not interested.
"I suggest we start with Selene, since this is her first time." Becca suggested, smiling mischievously.
I looked at Selene and shook my head a little, but she ignored my warning.
"Okay, let's do it."
Becca inched closer to the table, her fist formed an imaginary microphone.
"Truth or dare, Selene?"
"I choose dare.”
