Ethan's pov.

You have got to be kidding me, Selene must have lost her damn mind to agree to play this game.

I covered her hands over the table with mine

"What she meant to say is that she's not playing and it's time for us to leave." I added with a joke.

Selene removed her hand underneath mine

"No, I'm staying." She gave Becca a long hard look.

I see, this is a genius feud between the two of them.

I leaned close to her shoulder,

"You don't want to do this, trust me. Becca will come up with dirty tricks."

"I don't see how she wants to beat me in this. It's truth or dare right."

Becca rubbed her hands on my shoulder, squeezing it softly.

"She's not a child Ethan, she's at the grown ups table. Let's see what she's made of."

The waiter brought more drinks, which Isaiah ordered with his fake ID.

"Drinks are here." He announced.

"Now, we switch seats, Selene honey, come over to my side. Between Vale and Robyn is fine."

Selene stood up and went over while I was stuck with between Becca and Isaiah.

Isaiah stood up to pour the drink into little cups.

"So, I'm reciting the rules for those who are playing for the first time. You refuse to do a dare, you take a shot, you refuse to tell the truth you take a shot."

Selene raised her hand to ask a question which was totally embarrassing.

"How do you know if the person is lying?"

"You can't lie honey, the thrill of the game will be lost to you if you do." Isaiah fell back to his chair

Becca's body moved excitedly for it.

"Selene, since you pick dare, I'm going to go easy on you. I dare you to kiss Vale on the cheek. That's an easy one right?" She laughed.

Vale looked at her and flashed his dimpled cheek

"You don't have to if you aren't comfortable."

Selene did not waste any second, she touched Vale's cheek and planted her lips on it.

My jaws clenched as I watched her do it, she should have refused.

The all clapped like she did something splendid.

Vale was smiling from ear to ear like a dumb rabbit.

Isaiah clapped the loudest.

"Ethan, truth or dare."

How did it get to my turn suddenly?.

I ground my teeth slowly, inhaled deeply.q

"Truth."

"First time you'd pick truth over dare. Okay, when was the last time you had sex?"

My eyes darted to Selene who had already broken a sweat, she made me uneasy by kissing Vale and she knows how it makes me feel.

Everyone of them on the table were keen on knowing.

I rested my back to the chair.

"Tell us man, you've been on suspension for a week with now and this is your first time coming out. The Ethan Campbell I know does not stay that long without getting it." Isaiah teased.

Becca's elbow was already on the table, she was staring at me intently.

"Today." I told them

"Whoahhhhh," they chorused, letting out a long whistle.
Selene's eyes was on the ground.

"What, with whom?" Becca shouted, her hand gripped the edge of the table hard.

"It's one question and I already told the truth." I fenced her off with my response.

Isaiah shook my shoulder in a congratulatory manner.

"I'm always proud of you man."

Becca was in disagreement with it.

"Who is the bitch you've been fucking, we've only been apart for two weeks."

"That's enough time for me to move on." I slurped on my cup of juice.

Isaiah had to calm Becca down, since she was already ruining the fun.

I want her to ruin it, so I can get the hell out of here.

"Back to the game everyone." Isaiah said when he finally got Becca to act normal.

"Selene, it's your turn, dare or ask someone a question."

She rubbed her hands and looked around. Her eyes finally settled on me.

"Ethan, truth or dare?"

Why did she have to pick me?.

"Truth."

"Come on." Isaiah whined.

"I like it when he picks dare."

Vale had his hands over her shoulder and she didn't mind

I looked away so the image of them together doesn't burn into memory.

"Have you ever loved someone before?"

"What kind of childish question is that?"

I looked into the cup I was drinking from before I answered.

"I do love someone, it's the first time my heart has ever cared deeply for anyone, but I don't think she feels the same way about me."

The table was awkwardly silent as I gave my answer, they weren't expecting me to say that, even Becca who always had a lot to say was speechless.

She for sure knows it isn't her, I hoped my message got across to the right person.

"Wow, that's deep, good for you, Ethan." Vale broke the silence.

No one even asked the ingrate to speak in the first place.

"I think it's my turn to ask someone, Isaiah truth or dare?"

Isaiah gave a loud chuckle.

"I'll go for truth today."

"Ethan or me, who would you have as team captain?"

The others gasped at the question.

No he did not just ask that.

I focused my gaze on Isaiah, for tonight's game, this is the one I was more interested in.

Isaiah filled his cup with rum and drank everything, they all burst into laughter except me.

"I think I got my answer." Vale laughed heartily.

"Dude." I hissed through my teeth.

"Why didn't you answer?"

"I don't want to." He shrugged.

Vale asked that question to piss me off. Isaiah is my friend, but he didn't want to offend me by giving his answer.

Everyone already knows what Isaiah refused to say.

"Final question for this game comes from me to Selene." Becca said.

"Truth or dare."

"I don't know what your deal is with me, but I pick dare."

"Great, I dare you to french kiss Ethan."
