Chapter 114
“GOOD MORNING," Pearly greeted Jaden Gabe with a smile.
It was already nine in the morning. She woke up earlier than him. She took the aspirin from the tray and looked at the person sleeping next to her.
Jaden Gabe looked like a baby lying face down on the bed. She kissed his red lips to wake him up.
"Good morning," he replied in a hoarse voice, smiling at her.
Pearly didn't know how they ended up like this, but one thing was for sure... she felt his love again. Jaden Gabe was back, the Jaden Gabe she knew. Maybe she was shallow to think that last night had any significance, but she chose to be okay with it. However, she wouldn't allow them not to talk. Jaden Gabe had a lot to say to her.
"I'll cook breakfast for us."
Jaden Gabe stopped her by the waist. "Stay here."
He removed the blanket from her body, revealing her blushing chest that Jaden Gabe had been fond of all night.
He grinned and caressed one of her breasts, then took the other in his mouth. She let out a soft moan and pulled his hair. "Ahmm..."
He teased her wet nipple with his tongue, while the other breast was cradled in his warm palm. She opened her eyes and gazed at his handsome face.
"Jaden Gabe, I'm really hungry..." she said, pushing him away. "Remember, we did it several times last night. I'm really hungry."
"Okay," he replied with a smirk and released her nipple.
She pinched his straight nose. "We still have a lot to talk about."
"Let's just order," he whispered in her ear. "If I'm tired, you're even more tired."
He caressed her arm, which had traces of bruising. She was sure that wasn't the only part of her body with bruises. Jaden Gabe didn't hold back last night. That was another reason why she was hopeful again. She felt that he missed her. How much he missed her and how much he felt for her.
Unlike before when he held back. When he was cautious in his actions. That wasn't what happened earlier. It seemed like he was struggling to control himself.
He hardly left her alone earlier. She was sore all over, but he didn't stop. He touched every part of her body. He even kissed her feet. If he didn't remember that she was a person, he probably wouldn't have stopped claiming her.
"I'm sorry," he caressed her bruise.
"You're always saying sorry," she said, and kissed his lips.
"I love you."
She looked into his eyes. "Jaden Gabe..."
"I'm sorry."
"What's the real deal?" she laughed.
He stood up and reached for his pants. He took something from the pocket and handed it to her. It was a small black box.
"What's this?"
"Open it."
Pearly opened the small box. Her eyes widened. It was a ring. A gold ring with a large red stone in the middle. The stone was sparkling, she was sure it was a ruby. Classy, antique, obviously not cheap. "Is this for me?" she asked Jaden Gabe.
"Yes." He took the ring and put it on her finger. "I've wanted to give this to you for a long time."
Tears welled up in her eyes. "J-Jaden Gabe..."
"After we eat, we'll go back to the villa." He smiled at her. "I'll marry you."
She couldn't speak from the overwhelming joy she felt. She just hugged Jaden Gabe. He hugged her back immediately.
He lifted her chin and looked into her eyes. "Tell Judas to find someone else. Because you're mine. Mine." He said seriously.
Tears streamed down her face as she nodded. "Only yours. Only yours."

"DAMN IT," Jaden Gabe grunted. They arrived home this afternoon. He left the girl on the veranda of the mansion. He didn't want Pearly to see his anxiety. He shuddered and shook his head. He felt an unexplainable thirst when he saw the moon. He stopped in front of the fridge. He opened it forcefully. Inside, he was greeted by many bottles of wine that were not sealed. Bottles that had been opened and their contents replaced with human blood from the private hospital owned by Vaughn.
"What the hell is happening to me?" He bit the wine bottle cap. He didn't even bother to get a wine glass, Jaden Gabe just drank straight from the bottle until it was half empty.
"Thirsty, huh?" Helios emerged from the darkness. His eyes were red.
"The full moon hasn't arrived yet," his teeth gnashed. "Why is that? There are changes even in my libido. I feel like I'm going crazy." He felt that when the full moon arrived, his craving would double, and he might even kill if he managed to escape from the basement.
The father, who looked almost the same age as him, grinned. "You're just like a woman with a delayed period."
He scowled at him. "This isn't funny."
When Helios disappeared from his sight, he took two more bottles. It was strange how his father didn't seem to care about what he was going through. He didn't even think that this was a rare occurrence. This year was different, the second full moon was taking too long. It felt like something bad was going to happen.

Pearly had a smile on her lips as she gazed at the sky. There were many stars, the half moon was beautiful, and the air was cool. It was nice to have someone to hold while looking at the sky at times like this. It was nice to dream about the future, to have fun. She grinned.
It seemed like just yesterday her heart was bleeding, but now she was happy. She and Jaden Gabe were okay. They didn't have a clear agreement, but they were okay, and that was what mattered. She hoped it would last, she hoped it would be forever.
"Hi."
"Lucille!" She flinched when she saw the woman next to her. "You startled me!" She just appeared out of nowhere. It was normal for her to do that, but it was still surprising.
"You're back. Are you okay now?"
She nodded with a smile.
"Looks like you're happy." Lucille moved closer to her until their shoulders touched. "Sorry about Jaden Gabe, that's just how he is. He's considering too many things."
"Considering?" She was curious.
"Yes. You."
"You?" He's always thinking about you. Your future. Your happiness, et cetera."
She was even more confused.
"You still don't get it?"
Pearly shook her head.
"He's a vampire. Immortal."
She already knew that. "I accept him."
"You accept him?" Lucille laughed. "So you also accept the fact that you can't have children?"
"Huh?" Lucille laughed even more at her reaction.
"Didn't that Criss your mind?"
She was stunned. Why didn't she think of that?
"Is it possible that's the reason why..." she bit her lip as she trembled. "That's why Jaden Gabe wants to break up with me because he knows he can't give me..."
"Shh!" Lucille hushed her with a grin. "Someone might hear you."
"Lucille..." She held onto the veranda railing because she suddenly felt weak.
She was stupid. She was so stupid. Why didn't she think that maybe that's the reason why he avoided her? She was asking for it, planning in front of the guy about their future children and family. She pressured Jaden Gabe because she didn't know that he couldn't have children because of his immortality.
"You're so important to Jaden Gabe, he can't take away your chance to have children and a family. You grew up alone, and you dream of having a big and happy family, right? He can't give that to you. He can't because he's not normal. He's not human."
"It's okay with me if we can't have children..." tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at Lucille. "As long as I'm with him..." that was true, she would endure as long as she was with Jaden Gabe.
"You're just saying that now." Lucille rolled her eyes. "But I know a solution to the problem."
"W-what?" She felt a glimmer of hope. She held onto Lucille's arm.
Lucille looked up at the sky. "On the second full moon..."
"The second full moon?"
"Yup. On the second full moon of the year, Jaden Gabe will disappear."
"Huh?" Disappear?
"Do you know the basement downstairs?"
She nodded. It was one of the things she wanted to ask Jaden Gabe about before, but he didn't answer. Why didn't the Vaughn want her to go there? Why did they keep the mansion's basement a secret?
Lucille grinned. "On the second full moon of the year, go there."
She felt a chill, but Pearly's curiosity prevailed. Her desire to solve their problem also prevailed. If she and Jaden Gabe could have children, he wouldn't think that he wasn't right for her.
"I'll tell you, Pearly, how. But remember, no one can know about this. Don't tell anyone if you want to solve your problem."
"What should I do in the basement? And why would Jaden Gabe go there on the second full moon?"
"He can't be seen by anyone during the full moon." Lucille looked at her intently. "But on the second full moon of the year, there's a high possibility that he can impregnate someone."
Her lips fell open.
"Remember, on the second full moon of the year, in the basement... that's the end of your problem."
She nodded repeatedly.
"Pearly, in a few days..." she looked up at the sky again. "Your problem will be over."
"Thank you..."
Lucille returned her gratitude with a sweet smile.
She couldn't wait for the second full moon.
