In the medical room, Emma's foot was treated, bandaged with gauze after applying medicine.

Daniel sat to the side, handling the follow-up matters. "The surveillance issue is resolved. Emma, why was that person chasing you?"

Emma suddenly remembered this and quickly took out her phone to turn it back on. Finding the video still there, a triumphant smile appeared on her face.

Emma mysteriously opened a video and handed it to him. At first, it just showed a hallway, then a woman's leg and a man's hand appeared, with sounds coming from it that made one's face flush and heart race.

Daniel's face instantly turned red.

"This is what I just recorded. Combined with your previous audio recording, now everything is confirmed - Evelyn is having an affair."

"Good. Just next time, don't put yourself in danger alone. Call me." Daniel's Adam's apple bobbed as his attention focused entirely on Emma's red lips.

Daniel's body slowly, gradually moved closer, his heart beating wildly.

Daniel quickly said, "No need, I'm just a bit hot."

"Okay then, are you really alright?" Emma was still worried.

Daniel moved his lips, looking at Emma's innocent and caring eyes, but couldn't say anything.

"I, I'm not sick, Emma. I was just..."

Daniel's heart fell into conflict.

Now that Marcus wasn't around, it was a good time for him and Emma to develop their relationship. But if he spoke his true feelings, would Emma be pushed away?

Emma explained what had just happened. "So, when we hold the press conference, can we present the evidence of Evelyn's illegal activities? And the recording from earlier?"

Daniel thought for a moment and nodded directly. "Yes, I'll help you."

"Emma, why haven't you left yet?" Evelyn had finally managed to contact Mabel, and through Mabel, these damn bodyguards finally agreed to let her go out for one hour each day.

As soon as Evelyn got off the elevator, she saw Emma and Daniel in the therapy room.

Emma turned toward the voice and frowned. "Evelyn? You should be resting. What are you doing down here?"

"This is Marcus's private hospital, and it will be mine in the future. I can do whatever I want. But you, you haven't even completely divorced Marcus yet, and you've already found a new lover?" Evelyn raised an eyebrow at Daniel.

Emma looked displeased. "Evelyn, only dirty-minded people automatically assume everyone is like them."

Evelyn's expression changed slightly. Because of the bodyguards behind her, she didn't continue this topic further, but instead threatened.

"Emma, the surveillance in the hospital room is enough to prove you tried to harm me. Don't forget your promise to publicly apologize to me. This time..."

She gently touched her abdomen. "Fortunately, my child is fine. Otherwise, it wouldn't be as simple as an apology."

"Of course, I'm already prepared. Evelyn, the day after tomorrow at noon, I will definitely hold a press conference and sincerely apologize to you."

Emma's lips curved up, seeming even more eager for this press conference than Evelyn.

Emma firmly shook her head. "As long as Evelyn wants to target me, she'll have countless ways. Even if she doesn't create trouble for me on this matter, she'll target me on something else. Daniel, don't worry, I'll handle it."
